那时的年画内容都是比较“革命”的。我记事时，伟大领袖的画像已走进了千家万户，占据着堂屋墙壁的正中央，新年前购买的年画则贴于两侧。每一张年画，都散发着浓郁的时代气息：人民公社好、农业学大寨、工业学大庆、抓生产促革命、知识青年上山下乡等主题的年画五颜六色，从中可以领略广大人民群众“与天斗其乐无穷、与地斗其乐无穷”的豪情壮志;人民大会堂、军事博物馆、民族文化宫等“北京十大建筑”印刷精美，欣赏时会由内心增加一种自豪……

还有那八大样板戏的人物画或情景画也同样引人入胜，占据了不少农户家的土墙。大凡从那个时代过来的人，恐怕没有一个人不熟悉《红灯记》《沙家浜》《智取威虎山》等剧目及其唱腔的，也很少有人不会哼上几句的。那戴铁镣、锁铁链、被锁住双脚和双手的李玉和，浑身是胆，抬头远望，流露出“雄心壮志冲云天”的钢铁意志和“革命的红旗高举起”的胜利期盼;那带领18名伤员隐蔽芦苇荡、坚持斗争的郭建光，“坚持就是胜利”的号召，展现出“要学那泰山顶上一青松”的顽强毅志和“家家都把红旗挂”的乐观精神;还有那手持马鞭穿林海、跨雪原、气冲霄汉的杨子荣，身手矫健地亮相，显露出共产党人“甘洒热血写春秋”的终身追求和“迎来春色换人间”的美好愿景……

那时的我还没有上小学，正处于学数数和识字的启蒙年龄，而这些年画特别是那些样板戏的情景画成了我的启蒙教材，在父母或哥哥姐姐的指点下，开始数上面的人数和读写年画下面所注的唱词，有时还会跟着收音机或大队广播站的大喇叭唱上几句：“我家的表叔数不清，没有大事不登门，虽说是，虽说是亲眷又不相认，可他比亲眷还要亲……”“朝霞映在阳澄湖上，芦花放稻谷香，岸柳成行，全凭着劳动人民一双手，画出了锦绣江南鱼米乡……”“共产党员时刻听从党召唤，专拣重担挑在肩，一心要砸碎千年铁锁链，为人民开出那万代幸福泉……”

而今，随着岁月的流逝，在传统文化与现代文明的撞击中，那丰富多彩的年画及其相关的久远文化与仪式在不断地遗失，成为记忆中的几个称谓、几个符号、几个片断，也成了一个时代的印记，更成了一段历史的标志，时不时会从心底引发怀念。
