我有一位朋友，一位不会说话的朋友，它只是一个玩具小熊，但却是我最心爱的。

Chusok ("fall evening") is a Korean "Harvest Moon" (Han-gawi) festival set

on the 15th day of the eighth lunar moon. Chusok (韩国中秋节)， also known as the

Korean Thanksgiving or Mid-Autumn Festival， is one of the most celebrated Korean

holidays. It occurs during the harvest season. Thus， Korean families take this

time to thank their ancestors for providing them with rice and fruits.

The celebration starts on the night before Chusok and ends on the day after

the holiday. Thus， many Korean families take three days off from work to get

together with family and friends.

The celebration starts with a family get-together at which rice cakes

called "Songphyun" (蒸糕) are served. These special rice cakes are made of rice，

beans， sesame seeds， and chestnuts. Then the family pays respect to ancestors by

visiting their tombs and offering them rice and fruits. The Koreans visit the

graves of their ancestors to bow and clean the area for the coming winter. In

the evening， children wear their favorite hanbok (traditional Korean clothing)

and dance under the bright moon in a large circle. They play games and sing

songs. Like the American Thanksgiving， Chusok is the time to celebrate the

family and give thanks for their blessings.

Community activities include masked dance， Kanggangsuwollae， an ancient

circle dance， tug-of-wars and the tortoise game， kobuk-nori (乌龟游戏)， in which two

men dress as a tortoise and tour the village dancing and performing for food and

drink. Most of all， Chusok is a time to give thanks for the autumn harvest and

reaffirm familial and community ties.

There is no doubt that football is the NO.1 sport in the world, though our

football players don’t play it very well, still a lot of fans keep their

enthusiasm on this sport. They watch the matches even staying up. These fans

like to make up a group. They share the same interest and watch the match

The Chinese New Year has a great history. In our past, people lived in an agricultural society and worked all year long. They only took a break after the harvest and before the planting of seeds. This happens to coincide with the beginning of the lunar New Year.

The Chinese New Year is very similar to the Western one, rich in traditions, folklores and rituals. It has been said that it is a combination of the Western Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. This is hardly an exaggeration!

The origin of the Chinese New Year itself is centuries old - in fact, too old to actually be traced. It is popularly recognized as the Spring Festival and celebrations last 15 days.

Preparations tend to begin a month before the date of the Chinese New Year (similar to a Western Christmas). During this time people start buying presents, decoration materials, food and clothing. A huge clean-up gets underway days before the New Year, when Chinese houses are cleaned from top to bottom. This ritual is supposed to sweep away all traces of bad luck. Doors and windowpanes are often given a new coat of paint, usually red, then decorated with paper cuts and couplets with themes such as happiness, wealth and longevity printed on them.

The end of the New Year is marked by the Festival of Lanterns, which is a celebration with singing, dancing and lantern shows.

At the Festival, all traditions are honored. The predominant colors are red and gold. "Good Wish" banners are hung from the ceilings and walls. The "God of Fortune" is there to give Hong Baos. Lion dancers perform on stage continuously. Visitors take home plants and flowers symbolizing good luck. An array of New Years specialty food is available in the Food Market. Visitors purchase new clothing, shoes and pottery at the Market Fair. Bargaining for the best deal is commonplace!

Many years ago, before I moved to the city, I lived in a small town. I was so close to the nature, I could see the mountain and the clear water. I remember the town became especially beautiful after the heavy rain, the air was so fresh and I felt a little cozy, it was like a gift from god in the hot summer. 元旦放假了。这是新的一年的开始，我想自己来安排我的元旦假日。以前，所有的节假日都是由爸爸妈妈来安排的，我的大多数时间都是在上各类补习班，根本没有自由支配的时间。这一次，我一定要争取——我的元旦我做主!

其实，对怎样过一个有意义的元旦，我早就有想法了，只是，这个计划的实现还需要爸爸妈妈的帮助。因为爸爸妈妈都是律师，我经常看到一些犯罪的案例：子女不孝顺父母，把年迈的父母赶出家门;发生交通事故后肇事者逃跑;骑车的人跌进无盖的窨井，受伤后得不到赔偿;因一点小纠纷大打出手;盗窃、抢劫乃至杀人、放火……这一个个触目惊心的案例令我痛心，这些违法的人都是法盲呀!就是因为不懂法，他们才走上了犯罪的道路。如果我们从小就增强法律意识，遇事有清晰的明辨是非的能力，就不会去做违法的事，也不会走上犯罪的道路了。为此，我决定这个元旦约上几个好朋友，让爸爸妈妈给我们讲一些法律知识，我们还可以上街发一些关于法律方面的宣传资料，让所有的人都增强法治观念，减少犯罪。

我把自己的想法告诉了爸爸妈妈，立刻得到了他们的大力支持。爸爸妈妈不但给我们讲了许多法律知识，为了支持我的“工作”，还在街上支起了义务咨询台，爸爸妈妈在寒风中为群众解答法律知识，解决法律难题，而我和小伙伴们一边散发宣传资料，一边告诉别人我们刚学到的法律知识。遇到解决不了的问题，我们就把他们领到爸爸妈妈的法律咨询台前，让爸爸妈妈帮忙解决。

看着厚厚的宣传资料一点点减少，看着拿到资料的人认真学习的样子，看着难题得到解决的人们满意而归的样子，我们也高兴极了。回到学校，我一定要让同学们也一起学习一些法律知识，从小培养法治观念，增强法律意识。大家一起行动起来，与违法犯罪斗争到底。让我们的生活中不再有犯罪现象，让我们的生活更加安定、和谐，更加幸福、美好!——

我的元旦我做主，我的元旦过得真有意义!

人生在前进的道路上，总会遭受一些挫折和打击。十四年的路并不是平坦的，是曲折多变的，是那么的幼稚，那么的无知，那么的可笑。如果问我：“你最爱的人是谁?”我会毫不犹豫的回答：“感谢那个赐给我生命教会我知识，教会我人生哲理，教会我自信，在我前进的道路上洒下汗水，为我付出一切的人——妈妈。”她勤劳，朴素，对我十分疼爱。

爱上病床边红红的眼

也许厨房里有妈妈的爱，衣服里有妈妈的爱，桌上有妈妈的爱……但我最爱的是病床边妈妈的爱。记得那是一个夏天的晚上，我突然发起高烧，外面的雨水正从天上大滴大滴地砸下来，凉风一阵阵的刮着。妈妈拿起雨伞，背起我就往医院跑。天好像在折磨我们一样，雨毫不留情的下得更大了，风随意得窜来窜去刮得更猛了。路又湿又滑，妈妈一不小心摔了一跤，妈妈爬起来，捡起伞，一如既往地又把我背在背上，我说：“妈妈，我下来自己走吧!”妈妈似乎没听见，把伞仍然往后倾斜着，使劲往医院赶。到了医院，妈妈身上几乎湿透了，头发紧紧地贴在脸上，雨水顺着她的脸颊滑落，而我身上虽然有一点湿，可是比她好得多，我感到非常羞愧。医生给我输了液，渐渐地迷迷糊糊睡着了。第二天，我醒来，看见妈妈的眼里布满了血丝，我猛然意识到这是无私的母爱，虽然这没有我成长的需要，但是我将这份爱好好的保存着，因为前进的道路还长，保留妈妈这份爱可以挑战前进道路上的挫折。

走向成熟

成熟慢慢近了，我更能听见老人眨眼之功确把我带向了走向成熟

感恩该从何处起

当我懂得感恩那天起，我就觉得爸爸妈妈为我付出了许多，每天早起摸黑，想起我就觉得自己没出息。没出息就罢了，偏偏每天还要惹妈妈生气。想报恩，结果让妈妈生气、哎!感恩该从何处起

落叶再次落下，小草再次枯萎，怎能报答春天的恩惠呢!既然，如此，那我们该怎样报答父母的恩惠呢!
