全世界吸食各种毒品的人数高达2亿，仅美国每年就有近50万人因吸毒丧生。由贩毒、吸毒诱发的盗窃、抢劫、诈骗、卖淫和各种恶性暴力犯罪严重危害着许多国家和地区的治安秩序。有些地方，贩毒、恐怖、黑社会三位一体，已构成破坏国家稳定的因素。全世界每年毒品交易额达5000亿美元以上，是仅次于军火而高于石油的世界第二大宗买卖。巨额的毒资流动直接或间接地威胁国际经济的正常运转。

鉴于日益严峻的形势，1987年6月12日，根据联合国秘书长的建议，在奥地利首都维也纳召开了“麻醉品滥用和非法贩运的问题国际会议”，这是部长级禁毒国际会议，有138个国家的3000多名代表参加，讨论麻醉品滥用和非法贩运问题。

在这次规模空前的禁毒国际会议上，会议通过了禁毒活动的《综合性多学科纲要》，向各国政府和组织提出了今后的禁毒活动中开展综合治理的建议。会议提出了“珍爱生命，远离毒品”的口号。

6月26日大会结束时，为了进一步引起各国、各地区对毒品问题的重视，号召全世界人民共同抵御毒品的侵袭，与毒品犯罪活动作坚决的斗争，也为了纪念这次意义重大的国际禁毒会议，与会代表一致建议，将每年的6月26日定为国际禁毒日。这项建议被联合国采纳。当年召开的第42届联合国大会通过决议，正式确定每年的6月26日为“反麻醉品的滥用和非法贩运国际日”。

从此，每年的6月26日就成为“国际禁毒日”。

I am a shy boy.I speak less than other students in my class.“On the contrary”,my best friend is much more outgoing than me.He plays basketball better than many students in our class.He is one year older than me.We both like to watch Harry Potter.We often talks about Harry who has a more special life than other boy.I often imagine if  could have more magic than other people.My friend laughs at me.

为什么二氧化碳会增加呢?我想到的原因是人们常常开车、养食家畜、工厂大量排放黑烟……等。不过这些是大家可以一起解决，说不定可以改善地球继续暖化，例如：目的地很近的话可以骑自行车;目的地很远的话，可以搭乘公共交通运输工具;家畜的排泄物经过处理再排入河内;工厂可以建一座废弃处理厂……等。

请大家不要小看二氧化碳的威力，等到海平面上升、都市浸水和农地淹没，到最后就会面临粮食不足的危机了。请大家跟我一起喊：“停止伤害地球的行为吧!我们居住的地球只有一个。”

难民形成的历史由来已久。为保证难民的基本权利和地位，联合国1951年召开难民和无国籍人地位全权代表会议，并通过了《关于难民地位的公约》。

非洲统一组织于1969年起草了关于非洲难民问题的公约，1974年6月20日非统成员国通过生效，并把这一天确定为“非洲难民日”。

非洲庇护了人数最多的难民，为了表示对非洲的感谢并引起国际社会对难民问题更广泛的关注，2000年12月，联合国大会一致通过决议，决定从2001年起，将每年6月20日定为“世界难民日”。

上午，同学们都穿着血红色的班服来到教室，个个都精神抖擞脸上露着神气的笑容，大家都想为班级争光，加紧练习准备在比赛中大显身手，艺术节英语作文。一转眼之间，就到了中午，大家都已迫不及待了，胡乱地吃了几口饭，便回到教室里去了，有的同学在想像着当时的场面，有的在教室里疯玩，还有的在高歌；“我们是共产主义接班人……”突然，李壵坷闯进来喊：“蒋老师来了！”同学们都回到座位上安静地做作业。蒋老师走进教室，说：“把手中的东西放在一边，我们准备化妆了！”“啊！”边柯尖叫起来，兴奋的心情一下子沉重起来，突然边柯像脱缰的野马似的逃离出教室，东躲西藏的。大家都化好了妆，陆续地进入了场地，首先，主持人陈蔚然用流利的英语说了报幕词。301班唱队歌了，他们那嘹亮的歌声传进我们的耳朵里，我们不比你们差呢！我在心里嘀咕着。轮到我们班了！迈着整齐的步伐上了台，合着音乐，指挥员汪婷打起了节拍，响亮的歌声燃起：“我们是共产主义接班人，继承……”结束后，指挥员向评委，观众鞠了一躬，我们便下了台。我和其他七位唱英文歌的同学来到后场换衣服。301班的英文歌结束后，紧接着我们上了台唱英文歌《I’m a Littlesnman》了，跟着音乐，穿着漂亮的公主裙，做着优着的动作，唱着动听的歌曲：“I’m Little teaput，short and stout……”我们大家都感到自豪与骄傲。

这次英语文艺术节圆满结束，但动听的歌声仍在我脑海里飘荡。

端午节是我国的传统节日，从古到今有许多关于端午节的典故，如屈原，伍子胥等。

每到端午节，我家门上都会挂上一把菖蒲和艾草，那是妈妈买的，门口就飘着一股特殊的香味了。我搞不懂这是为什么，就去问妈妈：“妈妈，为什么要挂菖蒲和艾草呢?”妈妈摸摸我的头说：“端午节有许多的传说，其中就有说这一天是个恶日，有各种蚊虫妖邪出现。艾草是用来除虫的，它的香味能驱赶蚊虫，菖蒲是用来避邪的，意寓着健康平安。而且干的艾草叶用来给你们洗澡可以保护皮肤哦。”听了妈妈的介绍，我才知道原来它们都是好东西呀。

在端午节的这一天，我家的菜会特别丰富，妈妈总会按照外婆家的风俗，给我找与“黄”字有关的菜：红烧黄鱼，凉拌黄瓜，蒸咸蛋黄……而爸爸也会亲自下厨烧一盘大肉，里面有整个鸡蛋和大蒜。不管我们爱不爱吃，爸爸都要求我和弟弟每一样都吃一点。要是在老家过节，奶奶还会给我们的脖子上和手上绑上由几种颜色组成的彩线。

现在有许多国家都过起了端午节，韩国已向世界教科文组织申请了端午节。希望我们的传统节日越来越受到大家的重视。
