Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

This morning is cool.I am going to play basketball.After play basketball，I

feel tired，but I very happy.Because basketball is my favourite sport.My body is

strong.I hope you like basketball too.I play computer games now.

because theyre not only good for my health but also good for my study. My

favorite sport is swimming. Whenever I am free， I will have a swim with my
