这些天，新闻联播中几乎天天都要说全国各个空气污染严重的城市，并指出持续的空气污染对人体的影响，还告诉人们应如何防范这些影响对人体所造成的危害。

但是，这种危害难道不是我们人类自己造成的吗?难道人类在面对自己的“杰作”时，就这么无能为力、束手无策吗?

由于人类不加节制地砍伐森林，大量排放污水、废气，使得全球环境迅速恶化。原来蔚蓝的天空变得灰暗了，清澈的河水变得浑浊了，热闹的森林也变得冷清了。大量排放二氧化碳这种温室气体，又使全球出现了温室效应，导致全球气温变暖，海平面上升，又给一些国家带来了严重的灾难。

虽然环境还在继续恶化，但世界各国都在积极地应对着。这说明，人类已经开始觉悟了，我们人类终于认识到了保护环境的重要性。现在，国际上于1972年6月5日至16日在瑞典斯德哥尔摩举行联合国人类环境会议以及世界地球日、世界海洋日、世界环境日也都给地球带来一些宽慰。毕竟，人类“懂事”了。

当然，对环境的保护，离不开我们每个人的共同努力。平时少开空调，上班、上学选择骑车或步行，减少对一次性筷子及一次性购物袋的使用，提醒他人保护环境等，都是对环保事业的支持，对大自然的热爱。

With numerous technological advances,various kinds of media have been well developed. as a result,an increasing number of people are fond of purchasing goods with the help of media,such as newspapers,radio stations,Tv stations and the internet.

As we know, every coin has two sides and shopping via media is no exception. on the one hand,it saves much time,money and effort to purchase goods through media since you do not have to go to the shops in person.

Besides,you can choose what you want from an enormous variety of goods on display.On the other hand,you may be cheated sometimes by the false information and suffer a considerable loss.

As far as I am concerned, shopping via media brings great benefit to our life and our economy on the whole.At the same time, we need strengthened supervision over the information released via media.In this way,we can reap more benefits from shopping via media and reduce the possible harm to a minimum.

A hot day

Today is very hot,the heightest temperature reached to 40 degree.So I

stayed at home all the day.I recited english text this morning,after I finished

my homework,I prepared lunch for my families.I cooked egg-fried rice for

lunch,because there was eggs in the fridge only and I didnt want to go out

shopping for the hot weather.In the afternoon,I slept half of the day.It was

time to cook dinner when I wake up.It was a boring day,I hate hot weather.

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It is a very happy day for many boys and girls. Before the term ends in some schools, the children act a nativity or “birth” play, showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

At about one oclock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in. The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten. Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it. The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas holidays comes to an end.
