Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.

Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

As everyone knows,English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. My dream home is very big and nice.I have a house and it has at least three floors.On the first floor,there is a big dining room and we can have dinner together.There is also a nice kitchen and a big sitting room.On the second floor,there are all the bedrooms,so all my friends can stay in my house.There are computers,TVs and videos in each bedroom,so everyone can have fun.My own room is on the third floor.I can put the dolls,the posters and other things in it.I also have a balcony and I can see the whole city from it.

in my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. i think that having a dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve the target. as long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at least.
