Dear Mary,

I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me except you.

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. I will pay you back when I am home.

My first stop is London. It is raining. The streets are very clean. How I wish I could have the chance to see the famous London fog. But someone told me that was already the history. One can only read things like that about London in books.

我原本以为，这种毁灭性的灾难不会在我有生之年发生。可它，还是发生了。2008年5月12日四川汶川发生8。0级的大地震，让原本喧嚣的城市在倾刻间变成一片废墟，多少生命在瓦砾间戈然而止。那一幕幕揪心的画面让我潸然泪下，咸湿的空气浸满了泪水。那些幸存的孩童睁着无辜的大眼睛看着这个劫后余生的城市，眼了写满了悲伤乃至恐惧。那些年轻，美丽的生命，还来不及跟这个世界说一声“再见”就以阴阳相隔。只是不管是多么沉痛的呼喊也呼不回孩子那纯真的笑容，也喊不回孩子那稚嫩的声音。

I thought this devastating disaster will happen in my lifetime. But, it does happen. In May 12, 2008, Sichuan Wenchuan 8. People always complain time is limited, they want to have more time to do more things, but the time stops them. Actually, I once feel my time is less while others have a lot of time to do what they want. I start to think about myself, I realize that I always waste my time on playing computer games, so I decide to not to play computer games.
