From this cartoon, we can see that at the top end of the river,is a chemical factory and a paperrnaking factory which send out and poisonous wastes. And the river has been seriously polluted,n be seen from the color of it. Along this "black" river, there area few people selling fresh water which must have been taken from far away places.

小动物是我们的朋友，我们应该爱护它们。因为，有很多昆虫都对人类有益。比如说：蜜蜂，它很勤劳，每天早上很早就出去采蜜，一次又一次。到了天黑，吃几口蜜糖后，就马不停蹄地对采来的蜜进行加工。蜜蜂的外形并不起眼，生命也很短暂，只有3个月左右;可它一生都不休息，勤勤恳恳地工作，它们对人类毫无所求，却为人们酿造了甘甜可口、营养丰富、可医治病痛的蜂蜜。 还有青蛙，青蛙披着碧绿的衣裳，两只大眼睛，像两颗晶莹透明的玻璃球，它藏在田里，专吃害虫，保护庄稼。

它捉害虫的时候两条后腿一蹬，一纵身，敏捷地将后腿一蜷，跳起老高，长长的舌头一伸，就像一个吸尘器一样转眼就把害虫吃到肚子里去了。可是，我们人类却把它们当成美味佳肴摆在餐桌上。 还有许多可爱的动物，我最喜欢的是大熊猫。大熊猫是我国珍贵的动物，妈妈告诉我大熊猫还是我们国家的国宝呢!大熊猫长的很可爱，胖乎乎、圆滚滚的，走起路来一摇一晃的，特别逗人。它的头部和身体都是白色的，只有眼圈、耳朵和肩部是黑褐色的。特别是那一对黑黑的眼圈，长在白白的脸上，像是戴着一副墨镜，加上那笨拙的动作和走起路来东张西望的神情，显得像个小绅士。

你瞧!它们多么可爱，它们是我们人类的好朋友，我们怎么忍心伤害它们呢

我喜欢看电视，我最喜欢看的就是动物世界了，本来看到那些野生动物应该是件开心的事情，但是这一次的节目却让我感觉这么沉重，这么难过。

这一个节目主要讲的是两种海洋动物的遭遇。

第一种是鲸鱼：大多数人都会认为鲸鱼的鱼翅是既有营养又有好味道。在看电视之前，我也是这样认为的，但看了这档节目之后我就不这么认为了。因为我听这档节目的嘉宾说：一整条鲸鱼上的鱼翅的营养总价值竟与一枚鸡蛋的营养价值相当。而鱼翅本身是没有味道的，只是人工添加佐料而调成的味道，也就是说，如果没有鱼翅，也可以调出鱼翅的味道。可是一些富豪因为显摆自己尊贵的身份而吃鱼翅。

可以总结出：某些人为了吃一碗简单又没有价值的鱼翅，而不惜杀死一整条鲸鱼。

另一个更让我悲伤，因为受捕的对象竟然是海豚。在每个相同的季节，大量的海豚都会从一个日本的海滩经过。所以当地的渔民经常从海里驱赶它们到这个海滩上，当它们一来到这个海滩上，马上遭到围捕。绝大多数的海豚会就地屠杀，只有极少数的海豚被选中作为观赏动物送到海洋馆。每次捕杀完毕，海滩上就会一片血红……

当我看到这一幕时，眼泪不由自主流了下来。当我正为这些海豚感到难过时，屏幕上的渔民却个个面带笑容地把这些被屠杀的海豚拉到交易市场。然而更让我们震惊的是，这些海豚肉竟比牛肉卖的还便宜。

在很多记载中，有不少海豚主动救人的例子。可是这些日本渔民因利益和金钱的诱惑蒙敝了双眼，去残忍地杀害对人类有贡献的海豚。

面对这些事实。让我不禁深思；这些动物没有对人类和大自然的生态环境造成不利影响，反而有利于生态发展。可是我们人类对它们做出了什么？对它们进行保护？我们没有尽到应有的职责。让它们有一个良好的生存环境？我们也没有做到什么。只有让它们原本美好的家园受到严重的污染。并且围捕、屠杀和伤害它们……

愚蠢的人类，请停下你们的屠杀吧，不要再伤害我们的朋友们了。不要让我们的朋友对我们的美好记忆变成噩梦，不要再伤害它们了！

nimals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. Hundreds more are on the danger list today. About 170 kinds in the United States alone are considered in danger.

Why should people care? Because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more. Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. They are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its place in the balance of nature. Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. For example, when farmers killed large numbers of hawks, the farmers stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. Why? Because hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly.

Luckily, some people are working to help save the animals. Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries have passed laws. These laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list. Slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.

为什么人们应该感到担忧呢?因为我们需要动物，因为它们一旦消失，就永远不会再出现。动物不仅仅是漂亮或有趣。它们不仅仅是人类的食物来源。在维持自然平衡中，每种动物都有其作用。毁灭某种动物会导致许多问题。比如，农民们如果杀死为数众多的鹰，他们谷物和粮食的仓库就会受到老鼠和田鼠的破坏。 为什么?因为鹰吃鼠类，没有鹰控制它们的数量，鼠类就会迅速繁殖。

幸运的是，有些人正在努力帮助拯救这些动物。有些组织筹钱以便人们了解这一问题。他们也努力使政府通过保护濒危动物的法律。很多国家已经通过了法律。这些法

律禁止杀害濒危名单上的动植物。某些濒危动物的数目正在慢慢地不断上升。
