A dog fits easily into family life. It thrives on praise and affection. When a master tells a dog that it is good, the animal happily wags its tail. But when a master scolds a dog, it skulks away with a sheepish look and with its tail tucked between its legs.

星期天，我找来我的好朋友小好，每人拿一个塑料袋，把河边的垃圾一一捡光了，我们手里都是满满的一塑料袋，真是“满载而归”啊!即使我们把河边的垃圾捡光了，但是河里的垃圾是阻止不了，捞掉了还会有，怎么办好呢?最关键的还是唤起人们的环保意识，我们找来一块木板在板上大大地写上：请保护环境，从我做起。我们把它放在河边最显眼的地方，任务完成，我们高兴地回家了。

为了保护我们自己的家园，为了保护我们自己的生命，为了我们自己的将来，为了我们美好的环境，让蓝天更蓝，让清水更清，让地球妈妈更可爱，更生机勃勃，让我们张开小手，献一份爱，出一份力，共创绿色的环境。

暑假时老师叫我们买了一本书——《逝者如渡渡》，我刚看到它，觉得名字很奇怪？我带着问题打开了书，我才明白“逝者如渡渡”成为西方一句哀伤的谚语，“渡渡”是一种已经灭绝的鸟，“逝者如渡渡”这句话是警示我们：工业大规模灭绝地球物种的开始。

看了这本书，我才了解到原来世界上还有一些奇特的动物，如：腿向大象的腿一样粗的象龟，肥胖可爱的渡渡鸟，浑身雪白的纽芬兰白狼，小巧玲珑的蜗牛飞鱼。它们曾经也和我们一样生活在温馨的大家庭“地球”。可是，因为人类的贪婪，它们从地球上消失了。

例如：已经灭绝的旅鸽，谁能想象到，它们曾是世界上鸟类数量最多的一个种族，数量曾达50亿之多。可后来欧洲人来了，它们滥杀旅鸽，他们折磨旅鸽。甚至有人想出了将旅鸽的眼睛缝上。他们大量捕杀旅鸽，杀掉旅鸽的数量，只不过是他们的比赛成绩。他们将鸽肉卖出去，能赚很大一笔钱。后来最后一只旅鸽“玛莎”死于美洲的一个动物园。这时人们才开始后悔，可是一切都晚了。谁能想象到，很久以前曾有鸟类学家预言：“旅鸽一定是世上唯一不会灭绝的生物。”

纽芬兰白狼本来与纽芬兰人相处的很好，可是喜好杀生的英国人来了，他们将好客的纽芬兰人赶尽杀绝，占领了纽芬兰岛，接着他们开始滥杀跟纽芬兰人有关的动物，他们在纽芬兰白狼的猎物上了下毒，最终，纽芬兰白狼在残忍的英国人手下灭绝了。

在我们的地球上，还有许多的动物也濒临灭绝，如：中华虎凤蝶、短尾猴、亚洲象……

同时我们也再用爱心杀害着动物，如：年年在外面卖的小鸭子，我们将它买回家，却在无形中伤害着它们。它们本应该在大自然的阳光下自由自在，可却被“喜欢”它的小朋友关在屋子里，养在箱子里，当成小朋友的玩具……

我们在电视上、草坪上有一条公益广告是对的“没有买卖，就没有杀害”我们在杀害甚至灭绝其他动物时，有没有想到是否也在伤害我们自己。地球是一个大家庭，我们要知道，人类并不是世界上唯一的生物。我们只要保护他们，爱护他们，就是保护我们自己，爱护我们自己，创造更美好的地球。

在这世界上，有许多濒临绝种的动物，而它们面临的重重危机，多半是由人类所造成，例如：我们乱丢垃圾使河川受到污染、工厂以及汽机车所排放的废气使空气不再干净，为了开发和建设不断破坏山林。有时我在想，如果没有人类的存在，地球会不会变得更好呢?为了要弥补我们所污染的环境，并且要重视及提倡“保护生态”的观念。

由于生物不停的变少，陆陆续续出现了保护野生动物的公益团体，而这些集团不断倡导要爱护动物、保护动物，因此，野生动物的生存权渐渐被重视，不过光靠这些热心人士的帮忙仍是杯水车薪，我们更应该从日常生活中落实，假如全世界的人每天都能随手关灯，至少可以救回一只可爱的北极熊;假如全世界的人都能 减少塑胶的使用量，就有许多生物的肚子里面没有垃圾的存在;假如我们能减少废气的排放量，就可以使空气更为干净，不只保护动物，同时也是保护我们自己。

我们对于保护生态的观念应该推广到每一个角落，深植于人们的心中，无时无刻要懂得尊重其它生命，所有生命都是可贵的，我们无法即时扭转人们想要滥杀动物的想法，因为，有时关系到人们的生存与工作，但是，我们可以靠身体力行来改变别人想法，来落实保护生态的意义。

有时，我们应该将心比心，设身处地为那些因人类而丧生的动物，他们临死前的哀嚎，正是他们的求救讯号，他们也是生物，同时也是一个个宝贵的生命，我们并不能因为自认为高等，而残害其它的生命。

信赖，往往创造出美好的境界。

我曾经在报纸上看到过这样一幕：猎人把枪对准了一只正在给孩子喂奶的母猴，母猴看到后惊慌失措，立马把小猴放下来，自己从树上跳下来，然后对着猎人拍了拍自己的胸脯。意思是让猎人有什么事冲着自己来。请问，如果你是猎人，看到这一幕，你还会舍得开枪吗?

人类真的太聪明了，聪明到有点可怕。人类不仅会利用自己的感情，还会利用动物的感情，利用动物对自己的信赖。

一群猎杀队在非洲大草原上看中了一头品相很好、象牙很大的大象。

但是这头大象对猎队的人一直警惕，一直躲躲藏藏。猎杀队的人为了跟大象拉好关系然后把它杀死，他们就驻扎在草原里，每天都在草原里吃在草原里睡。

就这样过了一个星期，大象逐渐对他们放松了警惕。在猎杀队没水喝的时候大象带着猎杀队找到了河水，救了他们一命，善良可爱的大象还到带着猎杀队的人认识了自己的七个小伙伴……

又过了半个月，大象对猎杀队产生了信赖。直到有一天，猎杀队的人借用要去喝水的理由把大象引到了一个他们早已设好的陷阱里……

猎杀队的人没有良心。他们觉得拔象牙时，象牙长得太深难拔，于是他们就把大象脸上的肉刮干净然后继续拔牙。他们觉得只拔大象的牙有点浪费，于是他们就把大象的鼻子和四肢都砍了下来。他们又想起了大象的另外七只伙伴，于是他们也用相同的方式把其他七只给杀了……

是的，最后满载而归，如果不被抓，他们肯定能赚一大笔钱。但是，我想问，他们的良心真的不会痛吗?我真的很难想象那头大象被杀时的心情。

没有买卖就没有伤害。我们不能控制动物的行为，但是我们可以不买它!抵制野生动物产品!我希望人类和动物能和平共处!

对人有益的动物有很多，例如有蜻蜓、青蛙和小燕子等等。

我们先说蜻蜓吧，它是益虫，它对人的益处可多了。它生活在小池子旁边，捕捉害虫。有些人，捉蜻蜓，捕蜻蜓，捉住后到处卖。我们应给立一个保护蜻蜓法，如果他们再敢捉蜻蜓，捕蜻蜓，就是知法犯法，交给警察叔叔处理。

青蛙也不例外，它也是捕捉害虫的能手，不过，它生活在庄稼附近的池子旁边，有时候，它也到庄稼地，旁边捕捉害虫，人们都称它保护庄稼的好帮手。有的小朋友，到池子旁边，捕捉青蛙，回家后，吃青蛙。我们应该在池子旁边树一个牌子，上面写着“保护青蛙，人人有责”，这样就不会有人捕捉青蛙了。

小燕子也是捕捉害虫的一类，它生活在大树的鸟巢里，它在天空捕捉害虫。有些人，用枪把小燕子射下来，回家吃了，或者卖了。我们应给设一个森林保护区，让小燕子和其它受保护的动物住进去，这样，既保护了小燕子，也保护了其它的动物。

如果没有这些有益动物，害虫就会增多。这样，连农药和灭害灵都不行了。我们应给共同保护动物。
