Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.

Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

还记得有几次，我生病了没能去上课，老师怕我落下功课，晚上冒着蒙蒙细雨，带着课本来到我家，认真地为我讲解了白天所学的内容。第二天，我走在街上，有的同学问我“你是不是请家教了呀！”我答道“没有，昨晚老师来我家为我补习功课。”同学们都投来羡慕的目光，我感到好幸福。老师有时像一位母亲，时时向我问寒问暖，有时也像是我的知心朋友，我们在一起畅所欲言。

对于数学，我真是又怕又恨，恨是不会做，怕是考试每次考不好，我仿佛从老师眼中看到失望，从父母眼中看出无奈，从同学眼中看出嘲笑……。

又是一个黑色的星期一，又到了放学的时候，又到了我被留下来的日子。“张司程，把笔袋课作本拿来!”又是这熟悉不过的喊话，我皱了皱眉头，听到这句话有一万个不情愿，心不甘情不愿，慢慢吞吞向金老师那边蠕动。“自己看看，错在那里了”。金老师不会第一时间教我做题思路，让我先自己思考，养成做题习惯。她严厉地看着我，从她眼中，我仿佛能看到金老师对我的`期望。

“来，看看!”金老师开始慢慢地讲解，时不时用红笔圈一下关键的算式，让我整理一下思路。当我迷茫时，金老师会给我慢慢地讲解，慢慢地分析，直到我听懂为止。时间一分一秒过去，已经到了金老师的下班时间，但她仍不知疲倦地给我讲错题。偶尔的分心，金老师会用红笔敲几下桌子，给予我提醒。

题，终于讲完了，看看时间，也快6点了;看看天空，像是罩上了灰色的青纱。我打可一个懒懒的哈欠，整理好书包，正准备飞奔下楼，金老师又叮嘱我回去要多练。多写。在金老师身上，我感受到了慈母般的温暖。

在这段时光里，能遇见金老师是我的幸福!
