此次由百度与中科院自动化所、计算所、浙江大学、哈尔滨工业大学、清华大学等共同研发的“基于大数据的互联网机器翻译核心技术及产业化”项目，突破了机器翻译领域内的四大技术难题——(1)提出基于大数据的互联网机器翻译模型，快速响应高负荷翻译需求;(2)基于大数据的翻译知识获取，克服语言数据噪声问题;(3)通过深度语义分析和翻译技术，解决语言语义歧义问题;(4)提出枢轴语言机器翻译技术，实现了稀缺语种的多语言翻译。

据悉，百度机器翻译技术目前已实现支持27种语言，702个翻译方向，每天响应近亿次翻译请求。除了在学术领域取得丰硕的研究成果外，该项目成果已应用于国家多个重要部门以及百度翻译PC端和移动端产品中。

此外，百度还通过开放API，支持了华为、金山、OPPO、敦煌网等上万家第三方翻译应用，有力地提升了我国企业的开放创新能力，带动了相关产业的发展。在上月召开的乌镇世界互联网大会上，百度创始人李彦宏曾向习近平主席介绍了百度机器翻译技术，获得了习主席的肯定和赞许。

Everything we do today, whether in doing business or making friends, depend upon our ability to get along with one another.
