I am _x and I am 12 years old. My favorite sports include basketball, swim and football. One of my favorite stars is Liu Xiang because he is the fastest runner in the world and a pride of our country. I have love fruits like watermelon, grapes, banana, and so forth. Christmas Day is very popular around the world, which originates in western

different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air

pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of

disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will

take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung

cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition

will be damaged.

In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution.

Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the

action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being

cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of

protecting the environment.

However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them

have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers

or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the

environment needs everybody’s effort.

正月十四晚上，县里在体校操场举行焰火晚会。

晚饭后，我和爸爸去看焰火晚会。走在路上，人们三五成群，说说笑笑，纷纷向体校操场赶去。到了体校，那儿早已经是人山人海，宽大的操场被围了个水泄不通。我好不容易挤到了最前面，人们都焦急的等待着，盼望着……

七时整，只听“砰、砰”几声巨响，焰火晚会开始了。我抬头仰望，几条“火龙”相继飞上了天空，一会儿就绽开了一团团千姿百态的烟花，有紫色的、红色的、绿色的……五光十色。有的像菊花，像牡丹，还有的像河边的杨柳、空中的云朵、水中的银蛇，美丽极了。操场北面，一股股“喷泉”拔地而起，汇成了一座金色的“小山丘”。

Everyone have their own favorite season. Someone loves the spring the most,

while other one loves winter.The one who like summer might for its hot weather

and they can enjoy the ice-cream, while the autumn fans might love the sky

floating leaves.For me, I love the four seasons equally, I cannot tell which one

i love the most, because all of them have the special reason that makes me

adored them.

Spring is a wonderful season to celebrate rebirth and new life. When it

comes to spring, everything looks so full of vigor. The grass out from the land,

the branches grow new leaves, and the colorful flowers show up everywhere, all

of this beautiful scenery makes people feel encouraged and reborn.

Summer is a magnificent season, which bring warm to us, letting us wave for

it and releasing the passion. Summer is an exuberant season that always makes

people have stirrings to do something. Also, thinks to summer that makes

swimming and surfing much funnier and the ice-cream taste more delicious.

Autumn, fruit is fragrance and fruit. Autumn is the season of harvest, fall

chrysanthemums spit release each other, and a thriving scene. Autumn is the only

season that we could see the leaves flying in the sky. And it is especially

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. 一天，我的好朋友龚芝洁到我家来玩。我对她说：“我家没什么好玩的，就去我的房间串手链吧！”她连忙说好。我从床头柜里端出一盒珠子，再拿出一捆风筝线，说：“芝洁，你自己串吧！想怎么串就怎么串。”说完，拿起风筝线在手腕上绕了一圈，然后剪断。（这是量出手链的长度。）我先在绳子的一端打了个活结——免得珠子从绳上溜掉，然后按自己想象的样子埋头串了起来……大约三十分钟后，我抬头长长地吁了口气，大功告成！我串好了一条手链，一条项链。我回过头去看龚芝洁：哇塞！她居然什么也没串成。原来，她要么没绑结，要么就是不小心散了，到最后，折腾了半天，才串好了一个小小的戒指。这就是我，爱串手链的我。串手链培养了我的耐心和细心。

除了串手链以外，我还喜欢看书。每当放假的时候，我就会和龚芝洁一起去图书馆看书。一到图书馆，我就沉醉在了书的海洋。在学校，有时我会利用课间休息的时间来看书。总之，我一天到晚手不离书。妈妈说：“你就是个‘书虫’！”这就是我，爱看书的我。
