元宵节是我国的传统节日，每年元宵节要吃汤圆，放烟花。

妈妈煮好汤圆了，我迫不及待的夹起一个放在嘴里，妈妈大叫;“小心点，别烫着。”咬上一口馅慢慢地流了出来，粘粘的。甜甜的味道好极了!

元宵节可少不了观花灯。吃完元宵，我和爸爸来到阳头广场。这里的花灯可真多啊!有“奔跑”的老虎。“吃草”的兔子。还有在“游动”的鱼儿。真是五花八门!都成了灯的海洋。光的世界!爸爸给我买了一个兔子花灯。只要一按按纽。兔儿便会唱起欢乐的歌。我连忙拿起我的老虎灯加入闹花灯的行列，之后我和爸爸去放烟花。

放烟花可有趣了。烟花的种类真多!有的还有的在放甩炮……人们正看得起劲，忽然，一个淘气的小朋友扔甩炮，人们吓得四处躲藏;我跟着爸爸放礼炮它喷着火焰天空冲去，“啪”的一声爆炸了，放出五彩的鲜花。

Like tangible cultural heritages such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden

City, intangible cultural heritages like Peking Opera and

Confucius-commemorating rituals are equally crucial. We should make our utmost

efforts to preserve intangible heritages because, without their physical form of

existence, they are in greater risk of extinction.

According to UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible

Cultural Heritage (2003), all forms of social customs and habits, folklore,

performing arts, rituals, oral traditions, festivals, traditional crafts and

various knowledge and practices about nature and universe can be classified as

intangible cultural heritages. As a country consisting of a great diversity of

ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in

intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the

historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity.

Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we

would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible

heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It

is also pathetic to see elderly people in possession of such legacies pass away

without transmitting them to the younger generation. Faced with those

challenges, we should both preserve and renovate our ancestral heritages so that

we can help contribute to the cultural diversity of the world and return to our

spiritual homeland in this age of impersonal science and technology.

I like to watch movie so much, because I can learn a lot of things. Comedy

is my favorite type of movie. Every time when I watch it, I will laugh out

loudly. I find so much fun in comedy. It helps me to be humorous and make a lot

of friends. A humorous person is always favored by all, as he can bring

今天，妈妈带我云夫子庙看花灯，我们下午早早地就坐37路公交车，去夫子庙了。

车子到了三山街后，我们下车，在苏客吃了晚饭就往夫子庙走去，路上行人很多，路边有很多的小吃，有糖葫芦，绵花粮，臭豆腐……天渐渐地暗了下来，路上有好多小朋友，头戴着发光的头绳，手提着各种形状的花灯。

等我们走一夫子庙大门口时，人虽然很多，但很有秩序。路边灯笼像一条条长龙，真是状观。我们沿着那个东街进去，路边小店挂满了各种各样的花灯，形状各异，五颜六色，每个都可以发光。等我们走到桥上时，人山人海，每走一步，都要很小心，我紧紧地拉着妈妈的手，生怕走丢。路上有黄色的人力车，很多的游客都在拍照。桥上的景色如同一幅画：两条金色的长龙发出闪闪的金光，河里有一条条游船经过，各种色彩交相辉映……真是美丽极了！

I went to Beijing on vacation with my parents last month and we stayed there for a week.

To my surprise, Beijing is such a modern city that my parents and I all admire the development of it these years. We visited many wonderful places there, such as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. What impressed me most was that people there were all very friendly and some of them could even speak Enlish. But still I think that there are some problems of this city, which I dislike. 我走到我的位置，主持人说：“比赛开始。”我先把一团面搓成长条，掰下一小块的面粉放在手心里搓起来，第一个搓散了，我马上搓第二个，第二个也散了。我想：也许是面粉太干了，可是这里又没有水。于是我就搓得轻一点，慢一点。终于，我把第二个汤圆搓好了，圆圆的，白白的。我掌握了技巧，搓得越来越好。

正当我搓得很顺手时，主持人说：“时间到。”我数了一下——十八个，我又数了一遍——十九个。我一共搓19个。比赛结束了，同学们一个个成了白雪公主，校服上，手上都是雪白一片，你看看我，我看看你，都笑了!

Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China. This years Lantern

Festival, our school organized a unique "Happy Lantern Festival" activity!

Before the activity started, I came to the activity site of writing

couplets and waited. Look! The contestants smiled one by one. They all looked

confident. You and I exchanged the written content one by one. I calmly came to

the writing desk, took out the carefully prepared brush, drove light and

元宵节是我国传统节日，今年的元宵节，我们学校组织了一场别开生面的“欢乐闹元宵”活动!

活动还没开始，我便来到写对联的活动现场等待，瞧!选手们一个个面露笑容，都是一副胸有成竹的样子，你一句我一句交流着书写的内容。我不慌不忙地来到书写台前，拿出精心准备好的毛笔，驾轻熟路地认真书写起来，不一会儿端端正正的几个大字就出来了。

紧接着，我又快速加入到热闹非凡的包汤圆活动中。揉面是包汤圆的第一步，也非常关键的一步，我们小组把事先准备好的面粉倒入面盆里，倒入些水，在学生家长的帮助下，揉出了个大面团，而后等分的分配给每个成员。大家各思奇想，往面团里加了各色果汁，揉搓后成了五颜六色，十分好看。只听“汤圆馅来了……”，大家你争我抢地开始包汤圆。我先把面团捏在手掌心里，拍成饼状，再手掌微微合拢，往里面加馅，就在这时不小心手忙脚乱地把芝麻糖撒了一地，后悔极了!好不容易费了九牛二虎之力搓成了几个汤圆。旁边的同学可不这样，他们捏起大小合适的面团，轻轻压平后往里加馅，然后双手往上一顶，搓一搓，轻轻一揉就成一个个小巧玲珑的汤圆，和我的汤圆放在一起，简直就是鲜明的对比，令人好生羡慕。

当汤圆下锅时，我们在旁边等着，那叫一个急啊，恨不得直接从锅里捞上来就吃!在漫长的等待期后，汤圆终于出锅了，我轻轻一咬，柔嫩的外皮在嘴里立马化掉，果汁的味儿和芝麻的味儿扑鼻而来，化为一股奇妙的力量，一次一次让我格外满足，让我回味无穷。

活动结束时，同学们聚在一起拍班级合影，我虽然站在最边上的位置，但我笑得却很灿烂，因为我今天格外开心。这就是今年的元宵节——一个热闹的节日!

春节的欢闹悄然逝去，转眼间火红的元宵又即将来到。

我趴在光线淡暗的小书桌上，翻弄着那几张五颜六色被我叠得皱巴巴的却一道也答不上来的灯谜小纸条。

妈妈在乱七糟八的厨房里倒腾着，半透明的玻璃门关得严严实实。我知道，她在弄那糯米粉，做元宵。我走进了厨房，帮着妈妈忙碌起来。

右手抄起了一袋“老北京”汤圆粉，轻轻地撒了进去，像一盘细白的散沙悄无声息地扩散开来到米盆的角落。

撒进去后，再倒上清泉似的温开水，糯米粉随着温开水有节奏地调配得十分均匀。渐渐地糯米和水融为一体，我用手腕和手掌不断地按压着糯米团，/将碗里残留的糯米粘下来。一拉一扯，有弹性的糯米渐渐成为了一个大大的雪白糯米团。

从冰箱里取出赤红色细小的酥麻。酥麻中再放入红糖和白砂糖混合，成为香甜酥脆的酥麻馅儿。

再取出大拇指大的糯米团，在中间放呈小拇指大小的酥麻馅儿，再包裹起来不要露出一丁点儿来。慢慢搓成了一个甜美的小圆球。

放入煮锅里的汤圆冒着一个个晶莹剔透的小泡泡。升腾的热气像一层厚厚的白罩住了整个煮锅。一大股热气飘上空中渐渐形成一缕轻烟，慢慢消散。

煮好的元宵像一个个粉嘟嘟的小脸蛋冒着热气，品一品，外软内酥，香甜脆酥，仍有糯香……

我是来自四（1）中队的一名假小子，我性格开朗乐观，乐于助人，是老师的好帮手，同学们的好伙伴。

这次我能被评为区优秀少先队员，我无比的自豪、荣幸，这离不开老师对我点点滴滴的教育、信任。从不懂事的小娃娃，到现在，四年，老师的声声教诲时时在我脑海中回响。

Every year on the fourth ThursDayof November is Thanksgiving Day. It’s a festival for American and Canadian with the purpose of thanks for harvest. While canadians celebrate on the second Monday of October. I have a penfriend in America. He wrote to me his Thanksgiving Day last year. He told me that it was a time for family reunion. Families would come back home to celebrate the festival together. Most of the time it was his mother who prepared the dinner. Turkey is must for the festival. It looks like huge chicken. His mother also made pumpkin pie and many other delicious food for them. After the dinner, they talked with each other with the old thing or the future plan. He said sometimes they would invite some friends to share the happiness of Thanksgiving Day. In a word, he had a great time on Thanksgiving Day.

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

lose chances. So I practise hard and dare to stand in the stage.

For most western countries, Christmas Day is the biggest festival, and all

the people will have the long vacation, just as Spring Festival in China. With

the development of globalization, Christmas Day is celebrated by people around

the world. When the day comes, Christmas trees can be seen in many shops and

some products have the great discounts. One of the main reasons for people to

love Christmas is that they can get the great discounts from some products,

which saves them a lot of money. For American people, Christmas Day is the great

moment for the families to get together and enjoy the family hour, while for

some people they just treat it as the shopping day.
