在瓜地里，它还是远近闻名的“偷瓜贼”，它“偷”瓜的方法可和人类摘瓜的方法不一样哦——每当夜幕降临，小刺猬就会偷偷窜到瓜地里，将瓜皮刺进背上的“钢刺”里，然后，一翻身，就背着瓜溜走了。

刺猬还有一种神奇的本领，就是不仅会游泳，还会在水里抓蛇!刺猬会游泳是因为它生活在灌木丛内，怕热，所以会游泳。它会抓蛇是因为它不仅仅喜欢吃蛇，而且，蛇是软骨组织，是怕刺猬的。
