The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

my  plan  of  next  year

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of  a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.

The annual Spring Festival again, this is the Chinese to celebrate a good holiday.

During the Spring Festival, we will put the fireworks, but some people are always not civilization of fireworks. I saw the beautiful fireworks, many times, have seen some people do not know shame put fireworks to the road. Sometimes because put fireworks to get on the road, it could cause a traffic jam!

The origin of the Spring Festival is more interesting. The Spring Festival, is the first lunar month, also called the lunar year, commonly known as "Spring Festival". 一年一度的春节又到了，这是中国人值得庆祝的美好节日。

在春节期间，我们都会放烟花，但是有的人总是不文明的放烟花。我多次看到过美丽的烟花，也多次看到过有些人不知羞耻的把烟花拿到马路上去放。有时可能因为把烟花拿到马路上放，就会引起交通堵塞呢!

春节的来历更有趣。春节，是农历正月初一，又叫阴历年，俗称“过年”。相传，有一种叫“年”的怪兽，专吃人的。是一位红衣老人告诉了村民在门上贴红纸，在屋里点蜡烛、放爆竹，来赶走“年”。这个古老的习俗一直流传直今。

爷爷奶奶过年的方式很传统，一家人叫到一起吃一顿年饭，发压岁钱，然后

大家十五早上穿着新衣服去看耍龙!爸爸妈妈过年就只用做一件事，忙着做好吃的，五花八门的菜放在桌子上，让我口水直流三千尺。我过年的方式和许多人一样，串门儿、吃年饭、放爆竹拿压岁钱。

今年是2014年，下了一场大雪，使许多在外地工作的人们不能回家过年，但我真心的希望那些人能够快快乐乐、高高兴兴的过年。

年马上就要过完了，但我希望时光逆流，回到刚刚开始过年的时候，重新品味一番过年的快乐时光，让那快乐的时光重现在我的眼前!

Do you know about Spring Festival?It is a Chinese traditional Festival and we celebrated it by using many ways.

In the Chinese lunar calendar which is another calendar we used and it was from the old China.Spring Festival is the 1st day in the lunar calendar.The Spring Festival is differnet for every year is because the lunar calendar.We play fireworks,watch special TV programs and have a delicious dinner with our family.In the day of Spring Festival,we must come back to our family to meet our parents and grandparents,the school will also have a holiday that make sure we can celebrated it.If we have some problems that we could not come back,we should ring to our family.For the tradition,we eat damplings,the people who in the south of China will eat rice dumpings,during the day before Spring Festival,which is the most improtant day,because it is the last day for the year behind and the next year is comming.The firework will be too noise that we couldnt hear each others voice.It is very different to the New Year from the other western country.

In conclusion,it is a very improtant day for all Chinese people.

The Spring Festival is coming, in the evening, mother took me to watch "chun large literary evening".

Along the way, my mood is excited, leap to jump. Walked past YunPu park, see a book stands as the "book" on the cover of the three, with three different font of "spring" word, a look at carefully, turned out to be piled up with flowers.

Come morning soak up the square, I saw around people mountain people sea, jollification, around the four pillars of light flashing kaleidoscope of colors, red, green, blue, purple... And a wide variety.

The center of the square built a stage, and all the lights on the stage, the program is rich and colorful, have a crosstalk, dance, opera, sketch, martial arts, etc.

The most attract me is a martial arts program. Magnificent song "kung fu", one of the fresh young actors ever to come out, fighting together, to an individuals performance. That take a little actor, is my good classmate. There is the sword, swords, boxing, those of difficult movements, let a person dazzling.

Todays evening party is wonderful!

春节快要到了，晚上，妈妈带着我去观赏“迎春大型文艺晚会”。

一路上，我心情激动，蹦蹦跳跳。走过云浦公园时，看见一本矗立着的象三个封面的“书”，写着三个不同字体的“春”字，仔细一看，原来是用鲜花堆积的。

来到晨沐广场，我看见四周人山人海，热闹非凡，四周的四根灯柱闪烁着五彩的光芒，有红的、绿的、蓝的、紫的……，五花八门。

广场的中央搭建了一个舞台，舞台上灯火通明，节目也是丰富多彩，有相声、舞蹈、京剧、小品、武术等等。

最吸引我的是武术节目。雄壮的歌曲《中国功夫》响起，一个个精神饱满的小演员雄赳赳气昂昂地走出来，先是一起打拳，再是个人表演。那个拿棒的小演员，就是我的好同学。还有拿刀的、拿剑的、打拳的，那些高难度的动作，让人眼花缭乱。

今天的晚会真精彩啊!

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China 。It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year 。In the evening before the Spring Festival ，families get together and have a big meal 。In many places people like to set off firecrackers 。Dumplings are the most traditional food 。Children like the festival very much ，because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes 。They can also get some money from their parents。 This money is given to children for good luck 。 People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good。

To tell you the tr uth，I don t like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much，because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival，and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes，too，I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I don t like it now， there are many reasons.

Firstly，I can t have a good time during the Festival. Every New Year s Eve something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.

Secondly，I can t relax myself during the Festival. I have to do many things，watch so many TV programmes， meet so many people，all these things make me very tired.

Food between China and Western countries are totally different styles. China has 5000 years history. We probably spend half of time on food. Chinese people choice food very carefully. They only use fresh material to make food. For example they only eat fresh fish.

Chinese have a lot of ideas and techniques for cooking. We can cook a chicken in over ten ways. That’s why Chinese food is so popular in the world. Western country like English or American, they don’t have fresh food because they buy their food from supermarket which only sells stored materials. Western people would also prefer fast food like burgers and chips.

They are unhealthy to human body. Western people do not have many skills for cooking, mostly they only boil, steam and bake the food. By the way, western people are very good at making desert and chocolate. They can make very good cake and chocolate. They are very sweet but it’s sort of food which make you become fat quickly.

The Lunar New Year is now popularly known as the Spring Festival because it starts from the Begining of Spring . Its origin is too old to be traced. Several explanations are hanging around. All agree, however, that the word Nian, which in modern Chinese solely means year , was originally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year.

One legend goes that the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents? So, it did swallow many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time.

After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god. Now that Nian is gone and other beasts of prey are also scared into forests, people begin to enjoy their peaceful life. Before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each year s end to scare away Nian in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most.

From then on, the tradition of observing the conquest of Nian is carried on from generation to generation. The term Guo Nian , which may mean Survive the Nian becomes today Celebrate the Year as the word guo in Chinese having both the meaning of pass-over and observe . The new years Eve night, we are one family eat family reunion dinner in his home, on the table, I love to eat vegetables and Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs, after dinner, our one family sat in front of the television to watch the Spring Festival Gala can be lively! I dont need to say that you should also know that Keqiao is a colorful place.

Spring Festival is a happy day, I think, if time can be reversed, and then back to the time of the Spring Festival, how good it should be!

虎年的春节，是一个非常有意义的节日，我们大家都很喜欢这个节日的来临。如：我们是小孩子嘛，喜欢在春节的时候放松一下，还喜欢穿着新衣服去别人家作客。那么大人们呢，当然也喜欢过这个有意义的春节了，因为大人们都忙碌了一年，辛苦了一年，所以趁过年了，可以在家里打打牌轻松一下，这是多么难得的机会啊！

除夕的晚上，我们一家人在爷爷家吃团圆饭，在餐桌上，有我最喜欢吃的糖醋排骨和八宝菜，晚饭吃完以后，我们一家人坐在电视机前看春节联欢晚会，可热闹了！在春节联欢晚会上，我看见了不可思议的魔法师刘谦在为观众们表演节目，还有很多精彩的表演，我们看到了精彩的表演以后，脸上露出了喜悦的笑容。

到了春节的第一天，我们就穿着新的衣服，去给爷爷拜年，拜好以后我们就一起去了坟山，给奶奶拜一个早年，让奶奶保佑我们身体健康。弄好以后，我们就准备回家了。到家以后，我们闲着没事干，就让爸爸给我们搭雪桥，爸爸搭了半个钟头就把雪桥搭好了，我是第一个试验品，踩上去以后，一踩就塌了，把我摔了一个大跟头。围观的人就哈哈大笑。如果是他们摔跤的话，我一定会比他们笑得声音更大。

初二的早晨，我就把烧好的稀饭端过去给爷爷吃，爷爷吃了我烧的稀饭以后，笑得乐陶陶，连嘴都闭不起来了，接着我就把爷爷吃过的饭碗洗干净。后来爷爷家里作客的人越来越多，爷爷家里一下子从冷清变成了热闹，我就扶着爷爷去里面看戏剧。并且还和爷爷开起玩笑来了……

从初二到初四，爷爷的家里就一直是热闹的，到了晚上的时候。我就会和姐姐们一起去小店里买烟火，买好以后就拿到爷爷家门口去放，噼里啪啦，噼里啪啦，可高兴了，可是大人们听得烦死啦，好像耳朵会聋一样，被大人们训斥了一顿以后，我们就垂头丧气，感觉在春节里连烟花都放不来的话，那么这个春节还有什么意义啊！接着，沈洁姐姐提出了一个建议，说：“要不我们去柯桥玩吧？”我们几个连声答应，好啊！好啊！说到了去玩，我们几个都是很乐意的……我想，我不用说你们也应该知道柯桥是一个多姿多彩的地方吧。

春节，是一个令人开心的日子，我想，如果时间可以倒流，再回到过春节的那段时间，那该有多好啊！
