mount jiuhuait was a fine day in may. i took a bus to mount jiuhua. as the hus was passing half way through the mountain i saw a sea of green trees and bamboos. the trees were standing straight pointing upright to the sky. white louds floated in the blue air.

历史上，中华民族曾经创造过灿烂的文化，拥有过举世无双的强盛国力。无论汉唐气象，还是康乾盛世，都曾让异域他邦为之折服。然而，从一百多年前的近代中国开始，从鸦片战争、八国联军入侵，到日本侵华战争，积贫积弱的中华民族饱受世界列强的欺压和凌辱，中华民族遭受的苦难之深、付出的牺牲之大，在世界历史上都是罕见的。但在深重的灾难面前，无数优秀的中华儿女前赴后继，从没停止过抗争，从未放弃复兴的梦想，历尽千难万险，让中华民族重新屹立在世界东方。

是的，在走向复兴的路上，我们取得的成就灿烂辉煌，举世瞩目。从“两弹一星”成功研制，到“神九”飞天，“蛟龙”探海、航母列阵;从成功举办亚运会、奥运会、世博会，到国民生产总值跃居全球第二，新中国的建设发展成就，特别是改革开放三十多年的辉煌成就，让国人发出“天翻地覆慨而慷，人间正道是沧桑”之感慨。

是的，在走向复兴的路上，我们还有很多很多的事情要做，需要大家齐心协力，拼搏奋斗。当前最重要的是牢牢抓住“五位一体”建设，把生态文明建设贯穿于经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设之中，并把反腐倡廉置于党国存亡的高度，赢得民心。空谈误国，实干兴邦。只有干部清正了，政府清廉了，政治清明了，才能上下同欲，万众一心地建设“美丽中国”。“长风破浪会有时，直挂去帆济沧海。”这是习总书记的殷切期待，也是亿万国民的共同期盼。
