My son Joey was born with club feet. The doctors assured us that with treatment he would be able to walk normally — but would never run very well. The first three years of his life were spent in surgery, casts and braces. By the time he was eight, you wouldnt know he had a problem when you saw him walk .

The children in our neighborhood ran around as most children do during play, and Joey would jump right in and run and play, too. We never told him that he probably wouldnt be able to run as well as the other children. So he didnt know.

In seventh grade he decided to go out for the cross—country team. Every day he trained with the team. He worked harder and ran more than any of the others — perhaps he sensed that the abilities that seemed to come naturally to so many others did not come naturally to him. Although the entire team runs, only the top seven runners have the potential to score points for the school. We didnt tell him he probably would never make the team, so he didnt know.

He continued to run four to five miles a day, every day — even the day he had a 103—degree fever. I was worried, so I went to look for him after school. I found him running all alone. I asked him how he felt. "Okay," he said. He had two more miles to go. The sweat ran down his face and his eyes were glassy from his fever. Yet he looked straight ahead and kept running. We never told him he couldnt run four miles with a 103—degree fever. So he didnt know.

Two weeks later, the names of the team runners were called. Joey was number six on the list. Joey had made the team. He was in seventh grade — the other six team members were all eighth—graders. 遥飞的梦，点点滴滴，在生活中去追寻，多少年来，我扮过多少痴狂的风，也挣脱了生命中一次又一次蜕变的痛。我明白了，青春就是一场接一场的梦。在无穷无尽的梦境里，有寂寞感伤，也有一丝的甜蜜。仰望静谧的夜空，回想这许久以来，往事如虹。许多的事就像浮萍擦身而过，让我在惊慌失措中忘记了该如何去留住青春的梦。风筝的自由、飘雨的温柔、流浪的海鸥，我不知道青春用了多少梦，也沉淀了多少的哀愁若干年以后的回首，往事已随风阡陌，徒留惆怅许久，我也已不能回头，这个世界已没有人能够为我筑个港口。每个人心中残留的梦都成为了泛黄的拥有。梦，已不能再重头，只留下一连串的无奈。漫漫长夜，谁是谁的伤悲。划破天际的那颗流星燃起了我内心的烈火，我深深地凝视着夜空，清影飘忽变幻，相随无人夜晚，星星、月亮、流萤、灯火，在四处闪烁，而我的心也有一种青春在涌动。

梦儿，好美，追逐五彩的梦，我愿做一个追风的少女，肩杠风，脚踏土，用火热的一颗心写青春。不管这个世界有多冷，未来还需要多少年，期盼还有多遥远，少年的梦，我就是要用青春去追逐。孤独，我把它当朋友，天地任我遨游，不再为准而停留，把泪水藏在眼中，一步一步往前走。追梦的青春，美好的年华岁月。生命中的青春故事正在上演，乘着自己的梦想去飞翔，飞扬年轻的舞姿，一生，一世。岁月如歌，我心中的青春芽已经萌发，浇过多少的泪水，绽放了多少的微笑才慢慢长大。阳光和小雨、悲伤和甜蜜也伴我走过，我只是想将这青春的芽永远植在我的心田里。蜂飞、蝶舞，翩翩入梦，蝴蝶梦中冰雪少女入凡尘，飘舞的裙摆，轻盈的身姿，还有那从梦的水平面飞掠而过的轻荡钟声。红尘滚滚，青春如梦。窗外依旧星光点点，静静站在窗前，但愿世界别改变，多么希望留住时光，让青春与梦停在这一天，直到永远。

每个人都有自己的梦想，所以我也有自己的梦想。而有些梦想是很难达成的，有些则是非常简单。我的梦想则是努力善尽自己的责任，保持着善良的心和当厨师，这些都是我梦寐以求的梦想。

其实善尽责任和保持良好的心并不是那么简单就可以达成，它需要随时随地克制自己，不乱发脾气，做好自己的本分就好了。另外当厨师，就必须拥有心平气和的心，因为只要浮浮燥燥的，菜怎么能煮得好吃呢?唉! 梦想可是非常难实现的! 那么我要用什么办法才能达成自己的梦想呢?首先对于善尽责任就必须对父母师长非常恭敬，对比我们还小的朋友要有慈悲的心，对任何人必须和气，对任何事情做事要认真。也就是:“对上以敬;对下以慈;对人以和;对是以真”。至于对当厨师就是要手艺好、不常心浮气燥、速度快但做得好等等。只要做到这些方法，我相信，一定有可能会实现!

梦想必须靠自己，别人没办法帮你，也不可能会有精灵来帮你。所以凡事一定要自己做、自己受。我希望我的梦想能实现，我更希望大家的愿望也能实现。

There are many festivals in China. Among them, I like the Spring Festival most.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they are.Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. And then families sit together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to have some fun.

On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

在我国，一年有很多节日，在这些节日中，我最喜欢春节。这不仅因为它是一年中最大的节日，更因为它是新一年的开始，给人们带来新的希望，也因为它是亲朋好友团聚的时刻。不管身在何方，人们总会在春节前回到家里准备过节。

通常，我们会在除夕夜吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，之后家人团座一起，分享一年以来的生活以及新年计划。有的人则会玩游戏或者出去玩。大年初一，人们通常会早起，会与见到的人说吉祥话。孩子们会得到压岁钱。在接下来的几天里，人们会带上新年祝福互相串门拜年。总之，春节是一个欢聚一堂、供人享乐的日子。

Im so happy today because I got RMB 3,000 in "Lucky Money. "Grandpa alone gave me RMB 1,000. I must try to save this for college though and not waste it. But I think Ill allow myself to use part of it to buy a new dress tomorrow and then Ill put the rest un the bank.
