My name is xxx.  There are 4 people in my family.  My father is a Chemistryteacher.  He teaches chemistry in senior high school.  My mother is an English teacher.  She teaches English in the university.  I have a younger brother, he is a junior high school student and is preparing for the entrance exam.

I like to read English story books in my free time.  Sometimes I surf the Internet and download the E- books to read.  Reading E- books is fun.  In addition, it also enlarges my vocabulary words because of the advanced technology and the vivid animations.

I hope to study both English and computer technology because I am interested in both of the subjects.  Maybe one day I could combine both of them and apply to my research in the future.

“相信自己吧”每次念着这句话，我的心里都充满了自信。

我一直都不是一个对自己有自信的人。直到那一次，我才改变了我自己。

那是八年级的时候，老师说又要开运动会了。因为我七年级的时候参加100米有获奖，所以我很想去报名，可是我又不敢参加，当初因为我跑错道，害得我们班只获得了团体赛的第二名。当时老师的失望，同学的责怪，令我至今无法望怀。

放学后，我和朋友一起走在回家的路上，朋友对我说：“你要不要去训练一下啊”，我摇了摇头低声说到：“不用了，反正我会跑错道的，怎么练也没有用了”。朋友叹了口气说道：“你就那么在意去年的事吗?你为什么总是这么没自信。来，和我走”。我们来到了体育场，朋友指着一个男生对我说：“知道吗，那个男孩是我小学同学，当初他的体育从来都没有及格，而他现在可是市运动会的第5名，你知道他是怎么做到的吗?”说完就把我拉到的那个男孩的身边，我心里十分紧张，只听见朋友说：“嘿，小天，你好厉害，居然跑到了市比赛了，你怎么做到了啊?”那个叫小天的男孩笑了笑说到：“相信自己呗，我一直觉得自己可以做到的，对了，这是你的朋友吗?”听到对方叫了我，我一愣，才说道：“啊，是，我是莹的朋友，我叫李嘉妤”男孩笑着说道：“你好，我是李天，你似乎遇到了难题，不介意和我说说吧”。我把事情告诉李天。李天向我说了他的故事并告诉我：“只要相信自己，没有什么事情是做不好的”。在朋友和李天的鼓励下，我鼓起了勇气报了名。

在我的艰苦训练下，校运会的“脚步”渐渐来临。比赛当天，看着周围人山人海的样子，我的心中不免打起了退堂鼓，我找到朋友对她说：“怎么办，我好紧张，脚好软啊”朋友看着我只说了一句“相信自己吧”。后来在同学们的加油声下，我获得了第二名。团体赛也获得了第一名。老师和同学们都来表扬我，我心里十分的自豪，心想;明年我一定要获得第一名。

是啊!相信自己吧!没有什么是做不到的。

Mobile phones are useful and popular. But they are also bad for us

students. On the one hand, some of us like playing the games, they will forget

the time to rest. If they dont get enough rest, they will feel sleepy in class.

And even they are having a class, they always think about the games. They are

not good for our study. On the other hand, there are a lot of students who like

reading e-books on a mobile phone. Its good to read. But reading on a mobile

phone for a long time is not good for our eyes.
