Most people miss their grade school days and think they are the happiest time of their life, but whenever I recall them I cannot help feeling a little sad. In my young days I disliked any dismal atmosphere and could not bear the feeling of loneliness, yet the fact was that I often lived in a dismal home and frequently had the bitter taste of lonesomeness. I was not cheerful even in the company of my classmates at the grade school I attended. When I was alone at home the dismal atmosphere often filled me with fear even though thought here went to work in the morning but always came later than I did. For a young person like me t was too bad. Not until I was about sixteen years old had I outgrown t feeling of fear. Then there was that nagging feeling of loneliness either at home of at school. My father changed his job several times and with each change of his job we had to move and I had to attend a different grade school. Before I finished my elementary education I had attended three grade schools and thus it was difficult for me to cultivate enduring friendships. The feeling of being friendless was a constant source of pain to me. Those unhappy grade school days have of course long been over. I still have an abhorrence for any dismal atmosphere and lonesomeness, but hardened by experience I now find them less disturbing than they were.

My Class

here are forty-two students in my class, with 25boys and 17girls. It’s an active class, and the reason may be that the boys are more than girls. The classroom atmosphere of our class is very good, because we interact with teachers quite often. Our classmates are all united and helpful to each other. We often organize some activities to enhance the relationship between classmates and our regular activity is the English Day in every two weeks that we can only speak English during recess. Maybe it sounds a little difficult but it really funny and classmates enjoy it very much.

我一直都不是一个对自己有自信的人。直到那一次，我才改变了我自己。

那是八年级的时候，老师说又要开运动会了。因为我七年级的时候参加100米有获奖，所以我很想去报名，可是我又不敢参加，当初因为我跑错道，害得我们班只获得了团体赛的第二名。当时老师的失望，同学的责怪，令我至今无法望怀。

但是别墅总得做好呀，于是，我根据以往的经验，将一个像墙壁似的图形剪下来。刚开始剪，就听老师说：时间有限，只有两节课。我一听，心里更加急躁，一不小心剪错了一刀，后来我发现越急越剪不好。最后，我决定放下心来，不慌不忙地剪，将每一个缝隙都剪出来。不一会儿，我终于把“墙壁”剪好了。可是墙壁应该粘在别墅的地板上，地板在哪里呢？我想，一个别墅最大的就是地板和屋顶。这时，我看见一块“绿地”上标着“踏步”两字，这“绿地”应该就是“地板”啦，可是，墙壁粘在地板的哪个边缘呢？我又仔细打量起墙壁，发现它有许多需要折叠的地方，而地板刚好也有一边弯弯曲曲的。于是，我将墙壁折好粘在地板上，嘿，刚好吻合！接着，我依这种方法将所有墙壁粘好。

开始剪屋顶了。但是屋顶的边缘有许多需要剪掉的三角形。这些小三角形又都是在一条线上，一条边已经在外面，不用剪。我灵机一动，三角形都是等腰的，两个底角都已剪好，只剩一个顶角。于是，我沿着三角形的边，一左一右剪一刀，一个三角形就被剪掉了。接着，我用同样的方法，将所有屋顶剪下来，粘在墙壁上，一幢漂亮的别墅就“新鲜出炉”啦。

从制作别墅这件事上，我悟出了一个道理，只要仔细观察，认真思考，就会有很多发现。

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. It seemed that she was very glad to see us, which I knew from the big smile on her wrinkled face. She brought out a big watermelon and cut it. It was so nice to eat the watermelon on such a hot day.

After lunch my mother fell asleep and I asked my grandma to tell me a fairy tale. We sat on the bed and she began to tell it. I listened to her quietly. It was not long before I fell asleep, too. I was dreaming when a terrible voice woke me up. I saw Grandma was lying on the ground with blood streaming down from her mouth. I couldn’t believe my eyes. How fearful a sight it was! I hurried to wake my mother up. We took her to the hospital in a hurry. But it was too late to save her. My beloved grandma’s heart stopped beating when we got to the hospital. You’ll never imagine how sad we felt then.    Grandpa was very well all the time. I had never imagined that she would leave us so soon. That evening I lay in bed alone. My eyes were full of tears. What the picture illustrates is the prevailing situation that has long

existed in todays China. That is the mobile phone obsession. With the advent of

information age, people are becoming

increasingly fascinated on the electronic products, especially the cell

phones. Not surprisingly, you could easily notice that most of us are obsessed

in sending messages, playing online games with their mobile phones. It cannot be

denied that this phenomenon may negatively impact the relationship among people,

and therefore they will become estranged and isolated.

Personally, in view of the overuse of mobile phones, I hold that we

individuals should raise the necessary awareness that good relationships are

等我再一次到她家玩儿时，小琪的妈妈用严肃的眼神看着我，我感到很害怕，“小帆，你有没有拿我们家的手套啊？”我说：“没有，昨天我只是看了看，并没有拿走。”小琪在一边站着也说不出话来。于是，我就委屈地跑回了家。

直到现在我才知道，那副手套并不是，时小琪从别人家拿的，还诬陷是我拿走的。我好委屈啊！

后来，我找了小琪，让她给我解释，但他一直吞吞吐吐的，也说不出原因，我轻声细语的告诉小琪：“犯错不要紧，人人都会犯错的，重要的是能改正，好吗？”小琪点了点头。

事后再去小琪家玩儿时，她的妈妈也为之前对我的态度表示了歉意，我也很欣慰的接受了道歉。

回家之后，我问妈妈：“这件事你为什么不帮我呢？”我内心以为妈妈是不关心我。我很伤心，但事实——妈妈说：“你看，我没有帮你，你这不是办的也挺好的吗！想锻炼一下你处事的能力，因为你要长大了。”听到这，我才明白妈妈是在关心我。想一想，我处事的能力真的提高了！
