于是，我不得不想：我们平日里的教育到底缺失了些什么？我们应如何让学生们了解他们该怎样对自己负责？我们国家的教育是存在很大缺陷的，这问题并不仅仅存在于某个学校，这种现象是极为普遍的，也是我们国民所见怪不怪的。不论小学、中学还是大学，我们的教育总是更侧重于对知识的灌输，而不是对人生理念的培养。而我们现如今十分倡导的所谓“素质教育”，竟然演化成对特长、专长的盲目追求，好像只要是参加了某个特长班，只要是掌握了某项特殊技能，就算是完成了素质教育。正是这种教育的走偏，导致了国民整体素质的下滑。

如今，我们的孩子们一味地凭意气用事，根本就没有学会顾及后果，为自己或他人的将来着想。他们连对自己负责都做不到，将来又怎么能够对家庭负责、对社会负责呢？只有学会对自己负责，才能做到对他人负责，也才能真正对社会负责。如果那两个初次考试不合格的孩子能够更加努力的积极备考而不是想方设法搞歪门邪道，如果那两个好学生能够坚定不移地维护自己的切身利益、对自己负责或对自己同学的错误想法进行适当规劝而不是同流合污，那么事情的结果就将是另一个样子了。

涉险触“雷区”，使得这四名学生失去了继续学习的机会，也失去了本该到手的大学毕业证书。我不知道这次的惨痛教训会给这几个孩子留下怎样的人生印痕？但我可以想见他们家长得知这件事情后的失望与揪心。都是为人父母者，孩子遇到这样的事，家长如何能安心？但“教育”并不仅仅是学校的责任，我们的家庭、我们的社会在这方面又起到了多大的作用呢？特别是我们做家长的，在身体力行、以身作则方面，又做得怎样呢？

在人生的旅途中，不但有鲜花，也有荆棘；有成功，也有挫败。美国总统林肯22岁经商失败，27岁精神崩溃，34岁争取国会提名失败，46岁竞选副总统失败……失败与挫折锤炼着这一世纪的伟人，坎坷的经历造就了他的辉煌。假如，他在第一次受挫折时一蹶不振，那么，世界上会有人知道林肯吗？

留一点挫折，方能欣赏到人生的美景。

司马迁因遭李陵之祸，被处腐刑，可他奋发图强，终于写出了“史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚”的《史记》，对国家和民族作出了贡献。屈原如果没有被逐的苦难经历，也就不会有千古绝唱《离骚》的诞生。“奇迹总在厄运中产生（出现）”，培根的这句至理名言和孙子“以迂为直，以患为利”的思想异曲同工，给我们留下了无尽的思考。
