答案是否定的。“华罗庚数学邀请赛”金奖获得者陆昱在回答什么是他成功的秘诀时说：“我只是在课堂知识掌握的情况下多看些课外书籍，什么知识性的，趣味性的都看。”可见，有益的课外阅读会让你在语、数等方面出类拔萃。不仅如此，课外阅读也会让人有“秀才不出门，便知天下事”的本领。读一读《文化苦旅》，你会知道，中国的西北有一片神圣的大漠，大漠之中有一处古老的文明遗址叫敦煌，有一眼美丽的湖水叫月牙泉;在读一读《人类的艺术》，从古埃及到意大利，从古代到现代，那么多美丽的艺术在你的心灵掠过，你走过了整个人类史……所以说，课外阅读不仅能巩固课内所得，还可以开阔视野，增加知识的深度与广度。

世纪老人巴金曾指出，人不能仅为了米而活着。诚然，我们也不能仅为了考试而学习，不能“两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书”，不能成为一个“高分低能”的读书人。要知道，不懂得生活情趣的人永远是残缺的人，因为他们只看到了世界的一部分。而课外阅读恰恰为我们开启了一扇了解社会的窗口，且潜默化地完善我们的思想。更加难得的是课外阅读对我们的写作也很有帮助。朋友们，如果你还在题海中漫游，那么不妨每天抽出20分钟来翻一翻课外书籍，你会发现，你的文学功底和逻辑思维能力、表达能力会越来越强。

从世界各地来看，读书节已成为当代社会的文化景观，而且是最近20年的新风潮。不过，现代意义上的第一个“读书节”，最早可追溯到1926年西班牙国王首次设立的“西班牙自由节”，并把伟大作家塞万提斯的生日10月7日作为这个节日的庆祝日。

读书要读好书，读好书可以增长我们的见识，开阔我们的视野，陶冶我们的情操。如果有人问我最喜欢什么?我会毫不犹豫的回答：读书。

我非常爱读书，我也有许多课外书。比如：《宇宙未解之迷》、《太阳•月亮篇》、《十万个为什么》、《300个数学故事》、《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《雷锋的故事》等。有这么多的课外书我感到很自豪。一有空，我便看起书来，知道困的再也看不成的时候，我才休息。

读书带给我的益处很多。在《宇宙未解之迷》这本书里，我知道了以前从未想过的迷团，也增强了我的思想。在《太阳•月亮篇》这本书里，记录着太阳和月亮的奥秘。在科学课上，我用到了这点知识，使我的科学成绩提高了许多。在《十万个为什么》这本书中，让我明白了以前不知道的故事。在《300个数学故事》这本书里，我知道了许多数学家的故事，还知道了许多思考题的方法和答案。所以我的数学成绩也比较好。从《三国演义》这本书里，我知道了在战国时代，有三个国家，分别是魏、蜀、吴。三个皇帝分别是刘备、曹操、孙权。刘备的军师最有名，是诸葛亮。诸葛亮神机妙算、料事如神，所以三个国家互相打仗时，虽然他们人数少，但是诸葛亮计谋很多，每次都能化险为夷。在《水浒传》这本书里，有许多英雄好汉为老百姓打抱不平，有的人竟然与官场上的人斗，赢得了许多人的赞赏。在《雷锋的故事》这本书中，雷锋经常做好事不留姓名，甚至舍己为人。现在社会上象雷锋那样的人已经不多了。我希望同学们都要象雷锋叔叔学习，个个变成“小雷锋”!

读书的好处实在是太多了。我建议同学们多看些有用的好书，因为看书不但可以增长我们的知识和见识，而且可以提高我们的作文水平，增强我们的语文能力。行动以来吧，多看些好书，一定会收获不少的。

Dogs are the best friends of human beings, so I prefer to keep a dog. Some dogs are big and some are small and cute, The big dog can help you watching your house but I am fond of having a cute dog.

I am the only child in my family. When I am bored or my parents are out of the house, I can play with it.

It will bow to you or lick your face when you back home. It is so lovely.

如果你对我说财富是什么?我会毫不犹豫地回答是书籍，我们五彩缤纷的童年，离不开书，因为“书籍是人类进步的阶梯”。一说起书，很多人都能想到它的好处。读书可以让你懂得了更多的知识;当你不开心时，就翻翻书吧!书可以让你忘记所有的烦恼、忧愁。总之一句话，书的好处多得数不清!在我的脑海中，总有一片无边无际的书的海洋，无时无刻不在吸引着我的视线，诱惑着我的灵魂，丰富着我的知识，激发着我的潜能，提高着我的内涵。在这片知识的海洋中，我茁壮成长。在我的理解中，所谓好书应该是能够反映时代的具有丰富思想内涵、新颖的形式、风格以及精湛独特的技术语言三者兼备的优秀作品吧。

如弥尔顿所说：一本好书是一个艺术大师宝贵的血液，是超越生命之外的生命。是好书伴我一路同行。叔本华曾说：在一切知识的领域中，人类知识的大部分都是呈现在做为人类文字记录的纸页和书籍中。所以我那渴求知识的心灵只有在书的海洋中沐浴才会得到滋润。我在书中解读百态社会、解读世界风情、解读古典文化……书是我的精神食粮，我在书中汲取着营养，没有营养的供应，我还能在人生的道路上前进吗?读好书时的意境陶冶了我的情操。有时人成功的灵感就产生于良好的情操中。在细雨蒙蒙的午后，读着冰心清新明丽、隽永含蓄，有行云流水之美的散文，让心灵在她细腻的笔下轻轻游动，如同班得瑞的音乐在耳旁轻轻奏响;如同露珠在晨光照耀下的美丽，如同山泉悄悄地从心田流过。

这种读书的意境，是我茁壮成长的氧气。书引起我无尽的思索，在这种思索中我快乐地成长。好书让我写作文时驾轻就熟。能很多同学一提起写作文就会头疼，可是我却从来没有过这样的体会。在不断的阅读中，我的头脑中积累了丰富的材料，在写作文时，我总能按照老师的要求，写出令人满意的作文。好书能让我调整心态，净化灵魂。在一个人的成长岁月中，不可能永远的一帆风顺，不可能总是激情满怀，此时，一本好书就如同一位人生导师，给我们人生之帆导航。读一读老舍先生的那本幽默散文，在他富有个性的语言中领略人生的乐趣;读一读那本《让心灵透透气》，在美的语境中品尝自由。看着那些拨动人心灵的文字，亲吻着文学的碧波，生活纯洁的美、感人的爱展现在我面前。

在此时，我真正地体会到了托玛斯·肯皮斯的那句话：“我曾四处寻找幸福，其实幸福就是一个人躲在角落里看书。”书，你让我开心，让我忧愁，和你在一起，让我的童年生活如此的丰富多彩。你是我的良师，更是我的益友，谢谢你，一路伴我成长。书，像一双千里眼，让我们了解世界;书，又像一个时间隧道，带我们回想远古，想象未来;书，更像慈祥的知识老人，把深奥的知识传授给我们。每一本好书都像一位启蒙老师，指引着我前进的方向，它告诉了我做人的准则，让我从中获得更多的知识，树起我人生的奋斗目标。《白雪公主和七个小矮人》仿佛也把我带到了那座小木屋里，同时，也告诫我：不能以外貌来判断人的美和丑;《头悬梁锥刺股》中的主人公苏秦激起了我勤学的火花，将来报效祖国;《卖火柴的小女孩》让我看到了她那悲惨的童年生活，使我更加珍惜现在的幸福生活;《钢铁是怎样炼成的》一书中主人公保尔?柯察金那种坚强的意志深深地打动了我，教育我要在困难面前树立信心;一套《中华上下五千年》丛书展示了一部熠熠生辉的中国历史，让我看到了我们伟大祖国五千年的悠久历史，使我更加热爱我们的祖国了……

从读书中，我学到了，要想读好书，靠的是顽强的毅力、执着的热情，正如杜甫所说的：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”“冰冻三尺，非一日之寒，滴水穿石，非一日之功。”孔子手不释卷，才有“韦编三绝”的故事，中华才有这位大名鼎鼎的教育家和思想家。读书使我快乐，读书伴我成长。知识是无穷的，学无止境，相信每个人都明白这个道理，更重要的是在无止境中去学习。人生是一个漫长的过程，随着生命的延续而不断延伸，人生没有完结，学习就不该停止。我们的生命依靠学习不断地自我完善。
