Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

智者们明白时间是无限的，人的生命长度是有限的，但生命的宽度可以伸展。钱学森，这位科学界泰斗，一生不题字，不参加宴请，不出席鉴定会。他说，我时间不多了，我还有许多事情需要做。是啊，人的差别在于是否珍惜时间，若在有限的时间内去做更多有益的事情，也就在生命体里注入了内核。等到生命终结的那一天，人们会说，他的一生是充实而有意义的。

想当年辛弃疾报国无门，叹时间流逝，尽管将“栏杆拍遍”，也无人知晓其“登临意”。于是他吟出了“可惜流年，忧愁风雨，树犹如此”的诗句。真是英雄泪洒吴钩，岁月不堪回首。

时间在流逝。虽然雪年年有，春年年在，但这些只不过是飞逝的时间列车沿途丢下的旅客而已。因为水是去年的雪，春是昨天的冬。

时间在流逝，我们必须将爱说出口，将孝尽到位，将事做到好抓住机遇，只争朝夕。虽然我们不能阻止时间的流逝，但我们可以激起时间长河中的浪花，哪怕只一朵。
