我们在沙滩上堆城堡，挖坑玩。我们先是画一个圆圈当做城堡的基座，接着把沙子往上填在圆圈中，堆成一个金字塔型，另外一个伙伴去海里取水，均匀地洒在城堡外围，然后又堆上干的沙子，于是城堡越堆越高。最后拿来一个插着吸管的椰子，放在城堡的顶端，当作尖顶。这样一座城堡就造好了，远远望去像迷你型的金字塔，可壮观了。这天晚上我们去了一个“学校”吃饭，叫“8零九0”怀旧班，这个学校餐馆真是太有意思了，一进餐馆就看到“好好吃饭，天天向上”的牌子和“学习园地”，里面菜单叫课程表和家庭作业，小菜和汤叫补习班，厨房叫校长办公室，付钱叫交学费。

等我们吃完饭还发了一张奖状呢，还系了一条红领巾留影了，最后离开这个餐馆就毕业啦。我们除了玩沙滩，还去了鼓浪屿爬日光岩，鼓浪屿上的建筑很有特色，据说有十几种风格呢，可漂亮了，最后去了景色优美的厦门大学和南普陀寺，我们就结束这次旅行了。这次旅行还是很有收获和开心的哦，当然也是这次假期中最开心的一件事。

今天是个好日子，因为我要去方特玩，那激动的心情停不了。可以说的上是激动万分。

到了目的地，我跳下车，展开了好玩的方特之旅。于是我带上地图，迈着轻盈的步伐来到了“儿童王国”。我刚进里面，就看到有许多人挤在在哪一个地方。我和大姑姑和小姐姐一起去凑热闹。到那一看，原来是惊险刺激的过山车。之后我们也加入了进去。刚排队到一半时，就听见一阵阵尖叫撕破长空，打击着我的耳膜，一遍又一遍，令我胆战心惊。

终于到我们了！可当我们做好的时候，大姐姐不见了。不管三七二十一，玩完了再说。过了一会，过山车就启动了。当我们登上一个大上坡以后，我还没准备好就来一个下坡，然后接二连三的下坡一个接一个，然后停止。如果再不停下，我就要飙泪了。我一下来就神魂颠倒。

之后我们还玩了好多游戏，最好玩的是漂流。那个下坡冲的大浪可以把冲回老家。

今天虽然很累，但我们玩得很开心。

我去过很多地方，有乌镇、杭州、厦门等等。可是我最喜欢的一个地方叫厦门。

“呜——呜”这是我和爸爸妈妈所在的轮船发出的声音。我们是在厦门的海上坐轮船，“这是湖泊还是大海？！”我又奇怪又激动地问。“这是大海！”爸爸说。“太美了！”，我看着蔚蓝的大海，有时还有几朵洁白、美丽的浪花。几只海鸥在跟风浪搏击。一边欣赏着美丽的大海，不知不觉中轮船就靠岸了。

我们在厦门游玩了几天就走了，可厦门还是使我流连忘返。就这样厦门之旅画上了一个不完美的句号。

其次，厦门还建设了地铁。关于地铁我们的班主任还给我们讲了一个故事。故事是这么说的：一个地理老师跟他的学生说：“厦门不可能建设地铁！”结果现在厦门真的建地铁了。毕业几年后，一次师生聚会，那群学生就合伙找地理老师“算账”，地理老师说：“我真没想过厦门会建设地铁，因为厦门是个海岛，地质松软，已经建了立交桥，再建地铁是不可能的！现代的科学技术太发达了，真是太先进了！”

厦门在2017年建成并投入使用了一条地铁线路——一号线，还有3条地铁线路正在建设，分别是二号线、三号线、四号线。预计二号线在2019年底通车，三号线和四号线在2020年底通车。

未来厦门市政府还将建设更多条地铁线路来改善人们的出行条件，促进厦门的经济发展，祝愿我们的厦门越来越发达，成为现代化的大都市。

俗话说“不到鼓浪屿，不算到厦门。”美丽富饶的鼓浪屿的确是一处独特的景点。

今年暑假，我就来到了这个美丽的地方。从厦门一眼望去收复台湾的郑成功的雕像立在岛的最前方，他那炯炯有神的眼睛，挺拔的身躯让人仿佛看到了当年郑成功站在这里望着台湾时运筹帷幄的情景。鼓浪屿上还有着中国十大豪宅。

进入十大豪宅之中的“海天堂构”，“穿西装，戴斗笠”的中西结合式风格便成为我的第一印象。

大气的正楼体现出了豪宅的风范，那种大气让所有人都叹而观之。走近一瞧，各种各样的精工细刻也无不让来者大饱眼福鼓浪屿的夜景也是一处美景。鼓浪屿啊！鼓浪屿！从远处观望，你如温柔的月光照在你身上，你的绿势不可挡。

海水击打着岩石发出清脆的声响，我听见大自然雄浑的合唱。

海风吹着树林发出“沙沙”清响，我看见柔情少女边舞边唱。啊，鼓浪屿！你谱写的一首又一首一颗璀璨的明星，夜再黑也遮盖不了你的亮丽；从近处看，你如一块翡翠玛瑙，在所有小岛中闪耀着夺目的光辉；鼓浪屿啊！鼓浪屿！你的确是一座景色宜人的小岛。在你的身上，每一片土地都有着不同的色彩，在海一般湛蓝的天空下显得璀璨夺目。

厦门，是一个位于中国沿海的福建里的城市。在厦门里有许多游览景点，如：鼓浪屿、海沧大桥、同安影视城、南普陀等。

2月8日，我和父母、朋友来到了厦门，我们乘着渡轮来到了鼓浪屿，刚进大门，眼前就出现一个小池，池水里有几座小水车在喷水。走着走着，就看见了被称誉为“万婴之母”的林巧稚的雕像，她把自己的骨灰一半撒在鼓浪屿海岸边，另一半埋在自己的坟里。还把自己的积蓄捐给慈善基金。

后来，我们又去了胡里山炮台。买好了门票，通过检查，就会看见一座座货真价实的大炮。4：00了硅胶机器人演讲会开始了！我们来到大厅，看到官人们被做得栩栩如生。演讲开始了，机器人脖子转转，眼睛眨眨，像真人一样。我们又去看了4D电影，精彩极了！

厦门游结束了，这次来到厦门，真让我大开眼界。

April Fools Day is a day to play jokes on others, No one knows how this holiday began but people think it first started in France.

In the 16 th century, people celebrated New Years Day from March 25 to April 1. In the mid—1560s King Charles IX changed it from March 25 to January 1. But some people still celebrated in on April 1, so others called them April Fools.

Each country celebrates April Fools Day differently. In France, people call the April Fools “April Fish”. They tape a paper fish to their friends backs to fool them. When he or she finds this , they shout “April Fish!”

In England, people play jokes only in the morning. You are a “noodle” if someone fools you. In Scotland, April Fools Day is 48 hours long. They call an April Fool “April Gowk”. Gowk is another name for a cuckoo bird.

In the America, people play small jokes on their friends and any other people on the first of Aprol. They may point down to your shoe and say, “ Your shoelace is untied.” If you believe them and look down to see, you are an April Fool then.

I like traveling very much. My trip to XiAn is really unforgettable. Before

I went there, I always wanted to see Bin Ma Yong, so I chose to go there.

I went to there by train with my parents and I had breakfast in the hotel.

Then we went there by bus. When I got off the bus, I was very excited. I saw a

lot of false man whose hand with all kinds of things.

I took many pictures. Finally we went back the hotel in the afternoon.

Though I was very tired, I felt very happy. I will never forget it for

ever.

It was fine today, Lily and I went to visit the Science Museum. It is about

two kilometers away from our homes, so we decided to go there by bike. We set

off at 8 oclock. At the museum we saw a lot of interesting things. We could

operate some equipment. There we met many classmates and friends. We thought we

had learned a lot and were more interested in science.

At half past eleven we left the museum for home. We enjoyed ourselves in

the museum today.

In the Warring States Period, a man in the state of Chu was offering a sacrifice(祭品) to his ancestors. After the ceremony, the man gave a beaker of wine to his servants.

The servants thought that there was not enought wine for all of them, and decided to each draw a picture of snake; the one who finished the picture first would get the wine.

One of them drew very rapidly. Seeing that the others were still busy drawing, he added feet to the snake.

At this moment, another man finished, snatched the beaker(烧杯，大口杯) and drank the wine, saying,"A snake doesnt have feet. How can you add feet to a snake?"

This idiom refers to ruining a venture by doing unnecessary and surplus things.
