第二天，我们又去了植物园，这里有非常多珍奇植物。有“大丝葵”，这种树很高，而且两头细中间粗，样子很奇特。还有一棵高大“菩提树”，据说佛祖释加牟尼就是坐在这棵菩提树下。我们还看到了邓小平爷爷种一棵大叶樟树，这棵树长得真茂盛，我们坐在树下乘凉，缅怀改革开放总设计师。

后来，我们还去了“胡里山炮台”。这里炮可多了，听说都是用来抵抗倭寇。其中最大是“克虏伯大炮”。它于1893年制造，口径较大，为280mm；炮重近50吨，全长为13965mm；方向射界为360度；射程为1、6万余米，现存炮弹头为29枚。是世界上最大海岸炮。

厦门是一个美丽城市，也是大陆与宝岛台湾相距最近沿海大城市。我爱厦门，更盼望宝岛台湾早日回归祖国。

I am sorry to trouble you, but nobody would come into my mind to help me

You know, I had planned this holiday for several years. A t last, my dream

came true. You could imagine how excited I was. My mind was completely occupied

with the holiday. I forgot to collect my laundry. I dont know if you can help

me collect my laundry. I sent the laundry to the Johns. It is the one down the

corner on St. Peters Street. You cant miss it, because the house is painted

green-a big green house. I have got two pairs of trousers, three shirts, one

T-shirt and a blanket. Call a taxi to send you home. I will pay you back when I

am home.

My first stop is London. It is raining. The streets are very clean. How I

wish I could have the chance to see the famous London fog. But someone told me

that was already the history. One can only read things like that about London in

books.

温馨的海上花园——厦门是个美丽的地方，也是个可爱的地方。因为，这里有风景优美的鼓浪屿、海滩……

鼓浪屿人多又热闹，那里有海底世界、郑成功雕像……海底世界有各种各样的鱼，好看极了。

海滩上有拣不完的美丽的贝壳，大的、小的、颜色不一，形状千奇百怪。海水有深有浅，人们总爱踩到上面去。每当有东西浮过来时，人们总会把它捡起来。特别是小孩，总会拣一些有趣的东西玩。

最有趣的是退潮。退潮时，人们会跑去捉小螃蟹，因为小孩子们最喜欢这小东西了。运气好的话，还能捡到宝贵的药材——海马。

每当夜幕降临的时候，美丽的厦门瞬间穿上了绚丽多彩的衣裳：一栋栋大楼点上彩灯。各种颜色的灯有顺序地闪着光，仿佛她们在比谁的衣服更漂亮。闪耀到人们的眼睛都快睁不开了。

许多摊子也在这时候叫卖，人们一个个被吸引，摊子的东西渐渐地被大家买光了，真是热闹极了。
