厦门的普陀寺也是不得不去的地方。普陀寺始建于唐朝末期，是佛教胜地。那里的美景也是十分地引人入胜。莲花池中，荷叶碧绿，荷花粉红，一朵朵娇滴滴的荷花就如同腼腆的少女一般，而荷叶在经过太阳的暴晒之下，绿油油的带着一股清香浮出水面，蜻蜓在荷花四周飞来飞去，就像诗人杨万里《小池》里描写的：“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头”。你看，这就是南海观音菩萨的莲花池。

普陀寺中的普陀庙也是一处独特的风景线。庙中的雕像各种各样，栩栩如生。有地藏王菩萨，有千手观音菩萨，有弥勒佛，有十八罗汉，还有玉皇大帝……各路居士都纷纷来到庙中上香，拜佛，捐香火。

每当夜幕降临的时候，厦门就成了灯的海洋。灯照耀在大街上，照耀在每个角落，路上的车川流不息[注：川：河流。形容行人、车马等象水流一样连续不断。]，笔直的路灯挺起了它们脊梁，照耀在马路旁，整条马路仿佛像是金光闪闪的巨龙，整个厦门这亮了起来！

来到了历史悠久的中山路，风中带有一些海的气息，吹起来凉爽极了！我被美丽的中山路吸引了，我们来到了一个较大的广告牌下，上面写的是“服装设计店”灯照耀在一排排的广告牌上，让广告牌亮了起来，再来看看骑楼，骑楼上挂着五颜六色[注：形容色彩复杂或花样繁多。引伸为各色各样。]的灯，发出了闪闪的光芒，使中山路更美丽了。

今年暑假，爸爸带我到姑姑家度假。来到厦门的第二天，我就吵着要姑姑带我到海边来玩。

我虽也生在海边，但青岛的海与厦门的海确实如此的不同。青岛的海温柔明媚，像窈窕的淑女；厦门的海则不同。听，还没看到海，海的声音就传到了耳畔，如此铿锵有力，犹如千军万马奔腾而过。看，浩瀚湛蓝的大海，那颜色是多么的分明澄澈。在海天交界的水平线上，有棕色的机帆船和银白色的军舰来来往往，给海增添了许多生机。

瞧，金黄色的沙滩上更是热闹非凡。大人们穿着游泳衣，坐在沙滩上尽情地享受阳光，孩子们呢？卷起衣管和裤管，在海边玩水、拾贝壳。我们也加入了他们的行列，开始拾贝壳。这里散布着五颜六色的贝壳，大的、小的、圆的、扁的……形态各异；白色的，棕色的，黄色的，带有各色花纹的……真是五彩缤纷。我俯下身子，打量着这些散落满地的小精灵，把可心的一颗颗拾起来。

忽然，姑姑叫着：“俊俊快来，这里有个好贝壳。”我跑过去一看，果然是个好贝壳，它有一块小碟子那么大，身上印着一条条棕色的花纹，和老虎身上的花纹很是相似。我急忙接过贝壳，轻轻地擦掉上面的泥沙，小心翼翼地放入篮子。

这时，不知怎么回事，我感觉脚如刀割般的疼痛，我低头一看，原来是一只螃蟹把我的脚给夹住了，我急得都快哭了。姑姑说：“不要动，等一下它自己会放开。”我忍着疼痛，一动不动地站着，不久，螃蟹果然放开了它的大钳子，摇摇摆摆地走了。姑姑眼疾手快，抓住它的硬壳，放入篮子，螃蟹只好束手就擒了。我好不容易找了几只螃蟹，学着姑姑的样子把它们抓进篮子。有些螃蟹不服气，试着爬上来，但是它们的腿太多了，互相纠缠在一起，谁也无法爬到篮子的边缘，最后都筋疲力尽了。渐渐地，小篮子里装满了贝壳和螃蟹，我和姑姑提着篮子，高高兴兴地离开了。

厦门的夏天，天气多姿多彩!明媚的春光携带着阵雨匆匆离去，气温骤升，一时闷热异常，但是一场暴风雨就会驱走热浪，顿觉清凉!

厦门的夏天，最令人流连忘返的地方是公园!我常到我们桂花小学背后的雕塑公园玩。那里树林茂密、绿草如茵、鲜花盛开。我们穿着短裤、背心在那里追逐打闹，全身汗流、气呼气喘、多么快活!我喜欢在夕阳西下的时候，与爷爷一起登上雕塑公园的最高峰欣赏日落，倾听着鸟儿归巢的鸣叫，望着太阳像又大又园的火球慢慢西沉，多么心旷神怡!

夏门的夏天，最激动人心的体育运动是游泳!我喜欢与爷爷和弟弟到有名的矿泉泳场游泳。它的池水来自地下深处880米，是名副其实的矿泉水。一入泳场，换上泳裤，我就会迫不及待地跳入池中，不论天气如何酷热，一入水就暑意全消，十分清凉!海边是夏天的一个好去处，什么观音山、椰风寨啦。脱掉鞋子在海边走一趟顿觉疲惫全消。

厦门的四季，各有千秋，但是我最喜欢厦门的夏天!

这是个好天气，蓝天白云。我们怀着激动的心情在中午12：35走进了通往厦门的火车。经过了一夜半天我们终于到达了期待已久的厦门。厦门是个好地方，随处可见长得茂盛的花花草草，令人心旷神怡。

首先我们到达了白鹭洲公园，顾名思义白鹭洲公园里有特别特别多的白鹭，什么样子的都有白色的、灰色的、黑色的、花色的……让人眼花缭乱。这里的白鹭与我们那里大不相同。我们那里的白鹭一见到人就立马飞得不见踪影，可这里的白鹭见到人去赶紧扑了过来，好像是让游客感受到他们的热情。

在宽阔的湖中央屹立着一座白鹭女神雕像，白鹭女神双膝跪地，手抚摸着那长长的头发，左肩上一只白鹭昂首挺胸的站着

第二天，我们去了陈嘉庚先生的故居，在陈嘉庚先生的故居中，我们了解到陈嘉庚先生是一位伟大的人，他用自己的积蓄建啦上百所学院，还发动国外华侨捐献近15亿。

在五缘湾，我们看见啦一望无际的海。在海边有着复杂的棕色的桥，看着非常壮观。在沙滩上有人在沙子上作画；有人在踢沙滩球；有人在海边嬉戏……玩的不亦乐乎。

在战地基地，我们参观啦大型武器。有轻武器和重武器两种。轻武器大多是指步枪、冲锋枪、小型炮……重武器是重型大炮。还去啦迷宫。

在博物馆我们长啦不少见识，认识啦不少历史产物，其中包括扇子、瓷器、画作……

在科技馆有很多新奇的东西，比如看4D电影，操控海盗船……。在玩中也可以学到很多知识。

在厦门，我参观了我梦想的大学――厦门大学。厦门大学不愧是国内最美丽的大学之一，有山有水。随处可见葱葱茏茏的花草，和长得茂盛的古榕树。在厦门大学的芙蓉湖中有一个不规则的石头在中央。非常美丽。

参观完厦大后，我们去啦鼓浪屿。在鼓浪屿我们去啦非常多的景点，还去啦小吃街。小吃街里有特别多的东西，每一种东西都让人馋的直流口水。

然后我们去啦惠和石文化园。里面到处都是石头，种类繁多，形态各异，有肉石、白玉……看着好生有趣。还有最让我惊奇的是用石头摆了108道菜，每道菜都跟真的一样。

下来我们去啦植物园，植物园里因为植物多，空气别提多新鲜啦。每一棵植物都生机勃勃，植物的种类也种类繁多。在刚进植物园再往上走一些有一个不算特别大的湖，湖水不清但也不混浊。
