在一个清香袅袅的早晨，怀着一份激动和快乐的心，我和老爸踏上了去厦门的路程。

大约下午一点钟左右到了厦门，厦门的温度高达30多度呢！我都快被晒成肉饼了，但是我还是很兴奋。

特点三：准确性

句子的准确性指句子内部没有不准确的，不必要的词。

Eg. He returned in the early part of the month of August.

【分析】这个句子感觉有故意写长之嫌，需要精简。

【提升】He returned in early August.

特点四：重点突出

好的句子应该重点突出，词的选择，词的重复都有助于句子的重点突出。

Eg. When the bank robbers entered the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

【分析】这个句子比较平淡，可以修改一下动词。

【提升】When the bank robbers rushed into the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

特点五：语法正确，句式多变

句式多变指句子长短结合。如果全篇都是复杂的长难句，文章读起来会晦涩难懂，并且有挑衅阅卷人之嫌。反之，全篇都是短句，感觉有侮辱阅卷人之感。

During last summer vacation, I paid a visit to my uncle’s. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle, a closed friend of my father, transferred from Shanxi to Yantai, a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea, the clean and soft sand on the beach, the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day, for I couldn’t get up early enough.

On the fifth day, the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside, I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there, the sky was turning grey little by little, the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries, then suddenly, in the faraway horizon, golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later, a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon, so big and so red, it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment, then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful, touching and magnificent which I’ll never forget.

在一个宁静的早晨，我和爸爸妈妈踏上了前往厦门的旅途。这是我第一次坐动车，所以很新奇：餐厅在哪里？有没有厕所？车速有多快？我把一个个疑问化成早餐上的小笼包，吃到了肚子里。

经过6个小时的长途跋涉，我们终于来到了厦门。第一站，我们选择了风光旖旎的鼓浪屿，据说它有“音乐之岛”、“海上花园”的美称，山海奇观，无限风光，是整个厦门最有名的景点。在阵阵涛声中，我们坐船向鼓浪屿挺进，海浪拍打着船舷，海风轻拂着面孔，让我感到满心欢喜。

期待已久的鼓浪屿终于到了。我们坐着缆车来了个环岛游。岛上郁郁葱葱，到处是参天大树、奇花异草，它们与蓝天、碧海、白沙交相辉映，真是美丽极了！岛上游人如织，有的正在沙滩上玩排球，有的正在海里自由自在地游泳，还有的正在惬意地喝着岛上的特产椰子汁。人与景是多么地和谐啊！

第二站，我们去了海底世界。那里有五彩缤纷的活珊瑚、濒临绝种的大海龟，难得一见的澳洲海龙、海马，还有亚马逊的吃人鱼，印尼的巨鲨，可爱迷人的接吻鱼，美丽动人的孔雀鱼……不过，我最喜欢的却是凶猛的大鲨鱼，因为它是海洋霸主。我小心谨慎地贴近玻璃去观察它，感觉好威猛、好帅气呀！

今天的鼓浪屿之行让我难以忘怀。我恋恋不舍地离开了，期待着下次还能再来。

Deep Mother Love-深沉的母爱

Every child is surrounded by the deep mother love. However, we often turn a blind eye to the love. One day I deeply felt the love.

One day I hurried home for lunch after school, because there would be an exam in the afternoon and I had expected to go back to school early to prepare for the exam. But when I got home, the lunch was not ready yet. I felt unhappy. When the dishes were served, I forund none I like. I ran out of my house angrily and wanderde on the street for a while,hungry. Then I walked to school.

When I got into the classroom, I saw a lunch box on my desk. One classmate told me that it was my mother ther that had brought it here.After opening the box, I found my favorite food inside. My eyes was moist with tears.

Mother gave me her love without asking for return, How deep mother love is!

每个孩子都被深沉的母爱包围着，然而我们经常对这种爱视而不见。一天我深深感受到了这种爱。

一天放学后我匆忙回家吃午饭，因为下午考试，我希望早一点回校准备考试。但是我到家时午饭还没有准备好，我很不高兴。饭菜端上来时，我发现没有一样是我喜欢的。我生气地跑出了家门，饿着肚子在街上游荡了一会，然后往学校走去。

走进教室后，我看到书桌上有一个午餐盒，一个同学告诉我那是我妈妈送来的。打开盖子，里面是我喜欢吃的。我的眼睛湿润了。

妈妈无私地把爱给了我，却不求任何回报。多么深沉的母爱啊!

微风掠过海面，阳光斑斑点点洒进林荫大道，安静、平和，厦门在夏日的怀抱酣睡，清洁工人在为人们扫干净每一条大街小巷，厦门是多么安宁。

厦门身处海西，尽自己最大的努力散发着光和热，培育了一代又一代地优秀子孙，为我们创造了一个舒适的家园。做为海西的一份子，身在厦门的我们为厦门换上了新衣裳，高楼林立，绿树成荫，是一件多么豪华的大衣呀！

多年来，厦门人一直潜心钻研各种科技，开发大量能源。瞧“BRT”、“电驱动车”、“太阳能车”... ... 众多顶端科技争先恐后的展现在世人面前。大家的收入得到了改观，许多人住进了高楼大厦，电梯乘载着喜悦跑上跑下。

你也许会想，科技发达了，不就大大增加了污染流动量了吗？不用担心，各个部门建造了废物利用回收场，污水一经处理，便又变成了清澈的水资源，能够再次利用，不能回收的垃圾也能找到个好的归宿。市民们个个爱护环境，街道上很难见到一些随手乱扔的垃圾。

同安影视城，位于同安区五显镇的东溪河西岸，占地面积1000亩，第一期占地180亩，是一处大型的仿古人造娱乐城。距厦门市35公里，位于北辰山、梵天寺旅游线上。是前远华集团投资兴建的仿古人造景观娱乐城。于1998年落成。

以天安门、太和殿、养心殿、颐和园的长廊及一条明清街为主的古建筑群体。金碧辉煌、古意盎然、气魄恢宏是首期工程的基调。天安门比北京天安门小1/4，采用大木架结构，飞檐斗拱，雕梁画栋，做工十分精细，古朴又辉煌。城楼屋顶上，殿脊上饰有龙、凤、狮、海马、天马、獬、吼、麒麟、仙人等10余种吉祥物。太和殿，亦称金銮殿，比北京的原殿小1/4，装饰和陈设却绝然相同。长廊也是仿北京颐和园的长廊兴建的，总长410公尺。明清街是明清时代老北京城内的居民建筑风格为主的平民式建筑群，有仿北京城内老字号店铺38间，每间店铺按比例缩小1/4，青砖和灰瓦，再搭配京城建筑外貌的色彩，让人有一种亲临老北京的感受。天安门的右侧是亲子同乐的儿童天堂——反斗乐园，结合儿童思维和高科技为一体的奇妙世界，园内设置了扑克跳球，神奇地带，星际之门，奇妙彩虹等游戏，是增长见闻和寓教于乐的好地方。坐落在太和殿下的是 侏罗级恐龙世界，馆内林荫青葱，奇石相间，栩栩如生的各类恐龙分布其间，结合最现代化的科学技术，真实再现恐龙的生态，让游客体会侏罗纪的大自然的奥妙。

First, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.

Second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. In this way, we can understand how differently other people live.

Third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deeplove :for our m0therland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. Travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.

With all these advantages of travel, it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than exer in China.
