province. Now I want to tell you something about me hometown. BeiHai is a

beautiful city near the sea. There are several places worth visiting.

The most famous place is the Silver Beach. You can take the no.2 bus and

take no.3bus to the Silver Beach. You can get off the bus at the Beach hotel

stop and set the luggage or have s rest at the hotel. Then go back the road

which the bus have come. The beach is not far from the hotel, you can’t miss it.

The seafood is very delicious, you can have some for supper after swimming. The

world under the sea is a fantasy place. When you go into it, you will feel that

The most exciting program is “dancing with the shark” .that is some girls

who dress as the fish dive into the water and play.

清晨推开窗，一股清爽宜人、带着咸味的空气立即涌入屋内，让你怀疑夏天是否已经悄悄地溜走了。清醒后发现，窗外的街道依然被静谧所笼罩，方圆几里很难觉察出声音。屋外偶尔发现一层缥缈、透明的薄雾若隐若现地移动着，好像给房子披上了一件薄薄的纱布。人们似乎习惯了较热的天气，待到上午八九点，暑气缓缓飘来时才忙碌起来：房屋里，大街上，海岸边，有忙着收拾店铺准备营业的人们，海边还有锻炼的人们。此时的厦门是多变的。

正午时分，太阳将开水般的日光洒落厦门。尽管如此，街上的人流不减反增。这时也是一天当中人们最忙的时刻，任意一家街边小店都挤满了人，四周一片喧闹。店内的服务员通常累的满头大汗，上气不接下气，这种情况十分常见。大约半小时后，喧闹有所减轻。这个时候是一天中最热的时候，街上行人少了，喧闹少了。这时在楼上抿几口茶，看看窗外的风景也是件相当惬意的事。海边椰子树上碧绿、油亮的叶子如同一面大镜子反射着日光，如果是在夜晚，我更愿相信那是一颗罕见的亮星。树叶上的分杈在风中节奏不一，高低不一地摆动，仿佛是想用这种方式来给厦门降降温。不仔细看，肯定觉得树干也在随风摇摆。棕榈树比松树矮些，但这里的棕榈树树皮之厚，像一个在三伏盛夏还穿着十层棉袄的老翁。它的枝叶之结实，以至风只能稍稍摇晃叶尖，不能对其他任何地方造成影响。海浪冲上沙滩有很快渗入沙层，接着又冲上来。静下心去听，还能听到浪花与海滩哗啦哗啦的呢喃细语。

暑热的下午过去，夜晚来临。天空暗淡下去，风和空气也渐渐凉了下来，整个厦门再次回归静谧、清凉与美好。可以看见，其他楼层的灯光一个个消失，很快将我的视野染黑，只有窗外的几颗亮星闪烁着。

8月2号12点35分，我们坐上了通往厦门的火车。我们在火车上说笑打闹地度过了一天半的时间。到了第二天下午2点多的时候，我们到达了目的地――厦门，到了厦门以后两位老师带着我们坐上了通往白鹭洲公园的大巴车。白鹭洲公园是因为白鹭女神而得名的，她的肩膀上有一只白鹭，看上去像在和她说着什么，栩栩如生。

这时旁边的草地上引起一阵骚动，原来是一群白鹭在草地上嬉戏，旁边有很多人在给它们喂食，我也去买了包食物，轻轻的撒给它们，慢慢的慢慢的许多白鹭开始聚集过来，看他们吃的很高兴我也很高兴。有一群人走过来，给它们拍照，那时白鹭显然被吓了一大跳都纷纷飞了起来，在天空中飞着，像一架架战斗机。晚饭时间到了，两个老师带着我们去吃饭，哇塞，一看食物我就惊呆了，八菜一汤看上去样样都很好吃，结果……真的很好吃。吃着吃着我不禁打起了瞌睡，一回旅店我就跑到床上呼呼大睡，这一天就在我的呼噜声结束了。

第2天我们来到了陈嘉庚的故乡以及办公的地方。陈嘉庚是厦门大学的校长，也是被毛主席赞扬的人之一，他曾经带着800万人民向共产党将捐了十五个亿，导游说如果没有陈嘉庚的话，现在有很多的中国人民还在说日本话呢！通过这次旅行我们感受到了陈嘉庚的伟大精神，以及他为中国人民奉献的高尚品质。

吃过中午饭后我们来到了五缘湾，脚踩在沙子上软软的，像踩在地毯上一样，把脚抬起来在沙滩上留下了一个深深的脚印，就像好莱坞那些武功高超的电影明星一样，不禁产生一种自豪感，放眼望去大海一望无际，太美丽了。

之后我们去了一个叫曾厝垵的地方，听导游说这以前是一个渔村因为经济原因变成了一个著名的旅游景点，我们首先到了一条没事街上，看我左手拿一个汉堡，右手拿一杯可乐，胡海和我一样，也拿着一杯可乐一个汉堡，而赵晨然拿着两大肉串儿，我们仨都是吃货啊，这时我看到了旁边有一家纪念品店，便叫上他们俩进去买点东西，我给我妈妈买了一串项链，花了我45元，又给我妹妹买了一个小老虎样子的吊坠。这时，我们偶然遇到了老师，老师们叫住我们去海边，那玩儿的一个叫不亦乐乎啊！不知不觉中时间已经过去了四十分钟，快到集合的时间了，我们赶紧往集合地点飞奔，到到了集合的地点后我们坐上大巴又开始去吃晚饭了，在饭店吃的晚饭依旧是八菜一汤，这菜好吃的呀，都快吐了。好啦，愉快的1天已结束，可我的心还在大海边呢。

第3天上午我们来到了厦门英雄三岛战地观光园，里面摆放着上百件武器看的我眼花缭乱。这些武器分为两大类，一种是轻武器一种是重武器，轻武器是突击步枪这一类的，而重武器则是加农炮榴弹炮那种的。在那里我们还看到了世界第一大的战地喇叭，那喇叭大的呀可以装进两辆汽车，或一辆小卡车，接下来我们又走到了一间模型长廊里面摆放了许多的模型有飞机，有汽车，还有航母，走过长廊再走了一段时间已经到达出口了，在这个占地观光园我看到了我们祖国的伟大以及科技的发达我为我的祖国而自豪。

第3天下午我们来到了科技馆，科技馆就是充满了高科技的小世界，高科技的东西太多了，我们一进门就看到了一个大东西东西，里面装了些水，这时导游告诉我们说：这是水钟，只不过科技化了些。导游又说：现在大家开始自由活动吧，在两点到时候在一楼大厅集合，此言一出我们立刻就散开啦。我们先来到了儿童科技区，其实那里东西一点都不儿童化，反而在我的眼里还有些高级，这时我眼前一亮，看见有人在用小铁片儿再在打搭一座小桥我立刻被吸引住了走过去和他一起搭这座小桥，后来我才明白原来这是磁力的原因。看完了好多好多的科技装置，这时导游开始带着大家向博物馆走去。

到了博物馆后，我们看到了很多的文物以及整个厦门的历史，而且还看到了许多的名人，比如郑成功。而且在这里我们还看到了许多船的模型，非常的帅气。我们还看见了许多的名画，都是出自很有名的画师。整个博物馆弥漫着一股历史的清香。

第4天啦，今天我们的目的地是厦门大学，厦门大学是由陈嘉庚办的，他用自己毕生的积蓄办了许多学校，而厦门大学就是其中之一，厦门大学是我国有名的585学校，里面的环境非常的优美，里面的植物历史也很悠久，甚至比我爸爸妈妈的年龄加起来还要大，走着走到了一个小湖边，湖岸边的植物倒映着湖面上，交相辉映别提有多好看了。厦门大学是我向往的大学也是我梦想的大学，今天终于亲眼看见了，我的心里特别的激动。

参观完厦大以后，我们坐船去了鼓浪屿，那山那水，给人一股清新的感觉，鼓浪屿是个岛屿，上面的景色很美丽，他和台湾只有一海之隔，遥遥相望，后来我们去了小吃一条街，那小吃才叫一个多啊！看都看不过来，可是我们只有看的份儿，因为时间不够，所以我没有好好的逛一逛，在上船的那一刻我不禁回头忘了望鼓浪屿，我甚至不敢相信它是大自然创造出来的杰作。

今天是来到厦门的第5天也是最后1天，我们来到了厦门文化园，里面有各种各样的石头，而且都是被精心雕刻出来的，你甚至可能分不清哪个是石头哪个是实物。后来我们又来到了厦门植物园，植物园门口往上面走可以看到一个湖，这个湖非常的大，而且碧绿碧绿的非常美丽，我们在这里逛了半天，呼吸这植物园里的新鲜空气，非常的舒服，可是快乐的时光总是过得特别的快，我们马上就要走了。

再见了厦门，后会有期。

Thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or any of the other famous sights. If Id gone alone, I couldnt have seen nearly as much, because I wouldnt have known my way about.

The weather was splendid on that day, which I thought was rare. I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was lucky.

I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting - a day that I shall never forget.
