今天，随着飞机的降落，我离开了上海，来到了厦门机场开始我的四日自助游。下飞机了，我们拖着行李箱来到了厦门东南亚大酒店。在旁边的“麦当劳”用餐后我们急忙乘车来到南普陀景区。因为人生地不熟，所以乘的是出租车，上车问了司机后才知道在酒店门口就有一辆直达的空调公交车。

那时，懊恼极了！

我们第一个游得是厦门大学。据说厦大依山傍水，被誉为“中国最美丽的校园”。今天总算是亲眼目睹了这一美丽的学校。一进校门，我们就看到好多棵高大挺拔、直插云霄的大榕树，每一棵都有无数长长的气根，远远望去，好像几位老爷爷留着长长的胡须。大学是由陈嘉庚先生一手操办的。这所大学里还有一个湖泊，名叫“芙蓉湖”，走在湖边，阵阵微风吹过。湖面上波光粼粼。还有几条鱼儿时不时地探出脑袋。

走出厦门大学，我们来到了南普陀寺。第一眼看到的是“莲叶池”为什么怎么说呢？因为这个池子里有成千上万片莲叶，荷花却很罕见。这令我想起了《江南春》这首诗，就是有些不太匹配。比如诗里说得是“鱼戏莲叶间”而这里的景色却是“龟戏莲叶间”，根本看不到鱼，倒是乌龟比较热门，在“放生池”里我甚至看见了一个“龟岛”（一块木板上，趴着十来之憨态可掬的乌龟）。因为进寺庙后还要爬山，而我们都已经体力透支，所以就没有到寺庙里去。大伙儿离开了南普陀寺，乘503路来到了胡里山炮台。我们沿着海走了半天，好不容易找到了胡里山炮台，看门人却对我们说已经闭馆了，呜呜——

夕阳西下，百鸟归巢，我们往小燕子向大家介绍的鲤鱼门走去。大约30分钟后才看见，又走了10分钟才到达。这时我小腿抽筋，妈妈走路发抖，汪汪和小燕子腿上青筋暴起。我们点了一盆小燕子说是世界上最好吃的海螺捞饭，结果就三四个海螺、一棵青菜和一团米饭，味道也挺一般的。吃完饭，我们乘坐公交车回到了酒店。

Today is June 21st, Fathers Day. There is an indescribable feeling in my

heart, because I am not by their side, my parents are over 50 years old, and a

Whenever I walk heavy, I can always remember the power of your gaze and

move forward. Dad, you are my crutch at all times, give me support, give me

direction, give me strength, so that I can walk every step of the way in the

在我五岁那年，我去了厦门。有一天中午，我还没吃饱饭，就迫不及待地和表弟奔到了沙滩上。那时是中午，我们顶着个大太阳，在沙滩上堆沙堡。沙子细细的，软软的，像调皮可爱的小精灵似的，搔着我们的脚板。

我面对着一望无际的大海，张开双臂拥抱着迎面而来的海风，呼吸着夹杂在空气中海的味道，听着海浪拍打在沙滩上的声音，让我把所有的烦恼和不开心全都抛在了九霄云外。

我坐在海边的一块大岩石上，欣赏着风景。碧蓝的海与湛蓝的天融为了一体，看!远处有一条白色的线在缓缓朝我这边移动，那“白线”离我越来越近了，才发现，原来是海浪，它们像一匹匹“脱了缰的野马”似的，朝我“飞驰”过来，形成了一道壮丽的风景线。我任由海水打湿薄薄的衣衫，在浅滩里自由自在地奔跑，和大家一起“打水仗”，躺在沙滩上仰望深邃的蓝天。

天色渐渐变暗了，也不像中午那么炎热了，夕阳把大海映红了，好像给大海披上了一层红纱。海面上闪耀着一串一串五彩缤纷的光圈，就像吹出来的泡泡一样。

10月1日，我和外婆、爸爸妈妈一起兴致勃勃地去厦门游玩。

我们到了厦门，先去集美村，那里绿树成阴，鲜花盛开。听导游介绍说，这里还有一个有名的人物，他叫陈嘉庚，他捐款造了108所学校，我觉得他太伟大了！

第二天，我们又去了鼓浪屿，那里的风景可优美了，有沙滩、有郑成功雕像、有出名的张三疯奶茶店、还有各种各样的小吃店……

我们终于上了渡轮，我站在栏杆旁张望，海面好宽阔，看看远处的鼓浪屿，有一尊巨人般的雕像，它是谁呢？我也不清楚。渡轮停了下来，我们登上了鼓浪屿这个小岛，虽说是小岛，但对我来说，大之甚大啊！走上海滩，我们玩沙戏水。海风，呼呼而过，海水，碧蓝碧蓝，海沙，金黄金黄。啊！多美的沙滩，多秀的水景啊！攀上登山的路，一路迎来清凉的海风，海风中掺杂着绿树花草的清香，我多么想看看这诱人的绿色……

金黄的海滩、碧蓝的海水、呼呼而过的海风，然而鼓浪屿——这个从前的音乐之家，却听不到音乐，我不免有些遗憾。忽然，传来一阵悦耳的笛声。哪来的笛声？谁在吹奏？我看到前面有一个模糊的身影，我加快脚步走去，啊！是一个残疾人吹出了这悦耳动听的笛声。一个断腿的残疾人，还能这么愉快的吹笛，真是不可思议……

厦门，人人都知道那里是一个好地方。今年寒假，我从宁波出发，大约乘了五、六个小时的动车，到厦门游玩。

第一天，我们到厦门时已经是晚上了，所以只能到宾馆睡觉喽！一个自然觉醒来，奔赴第一个目的地——鼓浪屿。到了乘船去鼓浪屿的地方，我顿时惊呆了，黑压压的一片，全是排队的人，真是连个落脚的地方也没有。我们足足站了一个半小时才上了渡船，我感觉我的脚已经不是自己的了。

一踏上岸，所有的劳累都烟消云散了，一下子被这里的风景吸引住了。鼓浪屿的面积大约1·87平方公里，大约住着两万多人。在鼓浪屿上，我看不到汽车、自行车，人们都是步行的，这样既环保又能运动，真是一举两得啊！岛上见得最多的是榕树，那高高的榕树真像一位年长的智者，长满了长长的胡须，正在思考什么问题呀？岛上的中外风格的建筑基本保留完好，我们不出国也能感受外国的建筑特点，是不是不错呀？

鼓浪屿上主要的观光景点还有日光岩、鼓浪石、博物馆等，那其中的美只有你自己亲身经历才能体会到，那么，一起来吧！

一天上午，爸爸对我说：“xx，你哥哥来信了，叫你今年暑假到厦门度假。”我一听高兴得跳起来。这一天，我一直沉浸在欢乐之中。哥哥那家乡的山山水水，一张张熟悉的笑脸，不时浮现在我眼前。哥哥的来信，不由得使我想起在那里度过的时光。

我现在还清楚的记着村边有一条小河，人们吃水用水全依赖它。河水真清啊，用手轻轻一拨，平静的湖面，溅起的水花白得像棉花，在阳光下，是那样晶莹。河水真甜，喝下去觉得心旷神怡，比吃西瓜还痛快。我和小伙伴来到河边，痴痴地看着它，猜想着：它是从哪里来的，水底有住着龙王吗？若不是大人再三吓唬，说海龙王很凶，下去的人上不来，我可真要跳下找“老龙王”聊天。

河边有一片桃林。每年夏天，可以收很多的桃子。咬它一口，真是又甜有脆。林里人很迷信，奶奶常常说：“小孩子出去不要打蟾蜍，不然会触犯神灵的。”有一回，我和几个小伙伴到村边玩耍。突然一只蛤蟆朝我跳来，把我吓了一跳，当时我忘了奶奶的嘱咐，捡起一块砖头扔去，“噗”的一声，蛤蟆被砸死了。小伙伴可急坏了，便对我说：“糟了，你惹祸了。蛤蟆死后，他的灵魂会叫毒蛇来咬你。”我也害怕了，心里像揣十五只吊桶，忐忑不安。这天晚上，我吃不香睡不好，睡觉用被子把头蒙得严严实实的。奇怪？直到第二天早晨，根本没事。三天过去了，还是毫无声息。我得意的对小伙伴们说：“大蛇怕我，三天不敢出来。”奶奶来了，知道了事情，急忙把我拉回去，狠狠地训斥了我一顿。

在鼓浪屿还有龙头路，里面的小吃应有尽有，有赵小姐的馅饼，丸丸串串，古道奶茶······里面的东西算的上是美味佳肴。

今天我们的春假开始了，爸爸和我一起坐飞机去厦门游玩。飞机就像是一只巨大的铁鸟，煽动着两只铁翅膀，冲上云霄，穿过层层叠叠的云海，把我们送到厦门。厦门市一个位于南海的美丽小岛，马路两边有很多的棕榈树。棕榈树的树干笔直光滑坚硬，没有树枝树杈，只有树干的顶端长出很多绿色的树叶，可像一把撑开的大伞。

火车上每个隔断的小房间里分别有六个床铺，分上中下铺，而我在视野最好位置最高的上铺，坐在铺上远望，可以看到层层错落有致的梯田，宛如一幅翠色欲滴的油画，据说那里种着很多茶，我可真想亲自去闻一闻茶香呀！

到了厦门，我和弟弟就穿了一件秋衣下的火车，那都不冷呢！然后我们过天桥去坐大巴车去各个景点游玩。

在大巴车上，导游给我们讲很久以前的故事，能让我印象最深的是伟大的陈嘉庚先生，陈嘉庚先生的父亲去世了，然后自己娶妻，自己在马来西亚创业，种菠萝拿去卖钱，然后陈嘉庚先生发现了一种叫橡胶的树，他觉得可以做车的轮子和枕头，然后他就把菠萝砍掉，种上橡胶树，马来西亚的人觉得陈嘉庚是不是傻了？把可以吃的东西砍掉，还种什么橡胶树！于是人们就不敢跟他靠近，但是橡胶树必须种五年才能种出橡胶。

五年过去了，陈嘉庚先生做了软绵绵的枕头，马来西亚人才支持他，但是他没地方住了，他住的房子墙几乎都裂开了，不能在住了，因为他的钱都给学校了，是因为他不想下一代人不懂知识，不知道怎么保家卫国，所以他74岁到81岁都是住在学校的桌子上睡觉，88岁去世，去世之前，他做了一个“归来堂”！这三个字的意思是希望他的儿女能回来看他。陈嘉庚一共有10多位家人呢！

这个故事让我知道了，做事情不能只为自己想，也要为别人考虑，所以生活中，我要做一位有用的人！

Dear Sue,

I’m Li Hua, one of your students in China. It’s almost a month since you

left us. We all miss you and are very grateful for what you did for us.

We are busy as usual. We had an English speech contest the other day. I won

the first prize! This again reminds me of all your kind help. Do you still

remember the trees we planted together on the hill behind the school? Yesterday,

we went there and watered them. The tree you planted yourself is growing well,

and the whole class decided to name it Sue Wood. Will you come back to see Sue

Wood?

How is everything with you lately? We hope to know more about you and your
