厦门有风景名胜区园林植物园，俗称“万石植物园”。万石植物园位于狮山 、五老峰的北面，建于1960年。园内有各种亚热带植物。是厦门远近闻名的园林。植物园的各个园区是环绕在万石湖周边的，它是中国式的园林布局装饰，主要园区有：松杉园、百花厅、仙人掌区、兰花圃等29个专类植物区。

有英雄三岛“大嶝岛”。厦门英雄三岛战地观光园是由大嶝岛、小嶝、角屿三岛组成的，与金门一代隔海相望。一九八五年“八。二三”炮击金山村时，三岛人民与驻岛部队并肩作战，坚守海防，创下辉煌成绩，被中央军委授予“英雄三岛”的光荣称号。

还有我国东南沿海重要的国际中型机场， 厦门机场 。厦门机场始建于1982年1月10日，厦门机场一期工程在高崎机场原址破土动工，1983年10月22日，从动工兴建至正式通航，厦门机场从动工兴建至正式通航，前后仅用了一年零九个月。

每到五月火红的凤凰花露出笑脸，艳丽的三角梅在路旁开得红艳艳的，像在列队欢迎所有的来厦门观光的游客和来宾。

厦门，这里是“礼乐衣冠第，文章孔孟家”的“海滨邹鲁”，闽南神韵，侨乡风情，文化多元。这都涵养了厦门人的温文尔雅，开放包容，务实进取的美好气质。建设“美丽厦门”，实现我的少年梦的浩荡东风，正朝着更新更美的“美丽厦门”奋勇前行。不同的人们，不同的年龄，有着不同的梦。当然，建设美丽厦门实现我的少年梦，光靠梦想还不够，还要用实际行动去实现梦想，从小认真学习文化知识，长大后才能去实现我的理想，去建设美丽富饶的厦门而奋斗。

这个暑假，父母带我来到了厦门这座美丽的海滨城市。这里有景色优美的厦门大学、充满文艺气息的小渔村曾厝垵、现代感实足的双子塔、历史悠久的胡里山炮台，但最吸引我的还是鼓浪屿。

怀着激动的心情，我和父母乘船来到了这座美丽的小岛，从踏上这座小岛的第一刻起我就被这里的美景深深地吸引了：这里绿树成荫，花团锦簇，你不用去任何一个景点，就是单单往街上一站，收入眼底的就都是如同画中的景色。在这里，我第一次真真切切地体会了“美不胜收”这个词语的含义。

岛上的第一大景观当属闻名遐迩的日光岩，站在日光岩山门处就能看到一块几十米高的岩石凌空而立，犹如外星来的巨大陨石落到这里一般。我们随着拥挤的人流缓慢地爬上了岩石顶，这里就是鼓浪屿的制高点。从岩顶俯瞰全岛，鼓浪屿的美景尽收眼底。我极目远望，绿树、房屋、海水、船只都在我的脚下，这种君临天下一般的感觉让我觉得之前付出的辛苦努力都是值得的。

鼓浪屿的建筑别具一格，各有特色，中国建筑与欧美建筑交相辉映，它们似乎要在这里举行一场世界建筑博览会。我们游览了岛上最美的一座庭院花园——菽庄花园。这座有着悠久历史的花园依海而建，它集世界园林艺术的多个特色于一园，园中利用了“藏海”、“巧借”、“动静结合”等多种设计理念，让这里成为了一座让人叹为观止，流连忘返的海滨花园。

除了美景外，我们还品尝了岛上的美食，这里有当地的美食沙茶面、姜母鸭、花生汤、海蛎煎、鱼丸汤、土笋冻等，一边吃着美食一边欣赏着美景真是人生一大幸事。值得一提的是我们在这里遇到了一位别具特色的土耳其帅哥，他卖的是土尔其传统做法的冰激凌，每做好一个他并不是直接交到你手上，而是会杂耍般地与你互动，他令人眼花缭乱的动作和幽默的语言不时引得周围观看的人们哈哈大笑。

一天的游览时间一晃就结束了。我一边恋恋不舍地登上返回的渡船，一边想着：难怪人们把鼓浪屿比作是东海上一颗璀璨的明珠，看来真是名不虚传呀！

第一天，我们一大早先来到了福建省唯一一所“985”大学——厦门大学。

进入厦门大学，我们先来到了芙蓉湖，湖边种着几棵树，尤其是那棵落地生根的大榕树，已经有七百多年的历史啦！湖面像一面干净的镜子，湖里居住着两只黑天鹅，它们有时在津津有味地吃东西，有时又好像优雅地在跳圆舞曲，还有的时候在窃窃私语，仿佛有颗爱心正对着我们呢！突然，其中一只黑天鹅发出了一声动听的鸣叫声，过了一会儿，另一只也发出了同样的声音。你听，它们时而高亢激昂，时而委婉深沉，时而欢乐奔放，时而浑厚低沉……接下来，我们又去了情人谷、芙蓉餐厅……

午饭后，我们又坐车轮渡来到了厦门最著名的音乐之城——鼓浪屿。

鼓浪屿之所以不叫鼓浪岛，原因在于它的面积只有1。9平方公里，达不到岛的最低2平方公里标准，所以只能称为“屿”。“鼓浪”两字来源是取“鼓浪石”中的两字。让我们印象最深的是：鼓浪屿上的畲族博物馆，虽然不怎么出名，但却让我流连忘返。畲族的男孩在十岁时就要为自己打银器；另外，畲族的女孩要到结婚的时候，她们的爸爸就会提前五年的时间给她绣嫁衣，所以，中国有句民谣：世上只有妈妈好，可畲族的爸爸也很好。

第二天一早我们又驱车经过了蜿蜒曲折的山路来到了厦门附近的永定土楼，有侨福楼，承启楼，五福楼……其中最有名的要数土楼王——承启楼，又名天助楼，据说在造土楼的时候，五十多天没有下雨，所以老百姓们又叫它为天助楼，顾名思义，老天神助。天助楼建于明朝，有300多年的历史，一共有4层楼，它墙厚最厚可达1。8米，越高越薄，每往上一层就减少20厘米，所以最高一层只有1。2米厚，而土楼的最下面一层是由石块和泥土堆砌而成，和其它三层楼不同的是它没有窗户，据说是为了抵御当时的强盗，小偷和野兽。有个传说当时有个小偷进去偷东西三天三夜没有逃出来，可想而知土楼王的防御能力有多强了。土楼的结构很奇怪，从外到里4圈围绕而成，第一圈是用作厨房做饭之用，第二圈是储存粮食，第三圈用来接待客人，第四圈是用来做红白喜事的地方。

我们在回厦门的路上，还顺便参观了另外一个景点——云水谣，风景很美，就是我们时间来不及了，没有细细欣赏就回去了。

总而言之，这次的厦门旅游让我印象深刻，非常开心！

The Value of Reading Books

People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world.ButI don‘t think so. In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else.

The old saying "To open a book is always helpful" clearly tells us how good it is to read a book.

Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They lead us down the road to success.

Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience,strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them.

Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the good from the bad.

Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

皓月当空，皎洁的月光铺满大地的每一个角落，几颗顽皮的星星似乎在朝我眨眼睛，风吹过花草。此刻，躺在床上的我心中久久不能平静。今天在厦大发生的一幕幕如电影一般在我的脑海中回放，令我深刻感受到它的历史悠久和学习气氛的浓厚。

在去厦门大学前，我十分兴奋地查了一下相关的资料，网上是这样评价赞美它的：学术成就高大上，校园风光美如画。我看后更是对厦大憧憬、向往。终于在2019年8月28日，我作为少通社小记者来到了期盼已久的厦门大学。走进了气派的校门，在不远处看到了图书馆和颂恩楼，这颂恩楼一共有21层楼，厦大的最高建筑。一路看着厦大的风景，真是名不虚传的。“人在画中游”，游到了科学艺术中心，又游到了芙蓉湖，这湖中最初只有六只黑鸭子，为国家一级保护动物。我们就在这儿的广场背对芙蓉湖和颂恩楼拍了一张合影，最后我们又游到了餐厅，吃完了午餐，准备了下午的行程。

下午，烈日当空，我们个个大汗淋漓，但是当走进了芙蓉遂道，迎面吹来了凉爽的风，这条遂道全长1。10公里，净宽8米，净高4。5米，我最欣赏并喜欢其中的一幅皮卡丘。从芙蓉遂道走出来，我们又来到了无人机的课堂，讲课的姐姐教我们区分航天器和航空器，还教我们一些有关无人机的知识，在厦门大学，无人机的团队就像一匹黑马，没有任何人的指导，并且在每次比赛中都取得了优异的成绩。我们也自已动手拼装，试飞。这令我感到厦门大学的莘莘学子如何从无到有的力量。

最后，我们一行人来到了校史馆和鲁迅纪念馆，这儿的建筑中西融合，从校史馆我了解到了厦大是从1927年4月6日建校，是由爱国华侨领袖陈嘉庚先生创办，从厦门大学走出的知名人物数不胜数：陈景润、余光中、张高丽……这令我由衷钦佩，即钦佩这儿的历史悠久，又钦佩这儿人才倍出，与学习气氛浓厚。听闻鲁迅先生也曾经在这儿任教过，厦门大学还专门设有鲁迅纪念馆，使我更深的了解到鲁迅的平生，还有他当时在这儿任教的经历，与环境令我感到厦大师资的庞大。我想：我要努力学习，将来考上和厦门大学一样好的大学。

躺在床上，这时，我已经睡着了。我梦见我已经是厦大的学子，我梦见了我在厦门大学里试飞无人机，我梦见……。
