My best friend is Jim. He is a cool boy. He has curly blond hair, big eyes

and a small mouth. He likes to eat strawberries and bananas, and he loves

sports. He often plays basketball in the school playground. He watches sports

every night. He has good manners and studies well, so everyone likes to make

friends with him.

Each year, people burn or cut down 143,000 square kilometers (55,000 square

miles) of the forest. People who burn or cut down trees do it for different

reasons: farmers cut down trees in order to get more fertilize lands to grow

rice or vegetables, and use the woods as fuel. Timber companies cut down trees

and turn them into furniture or paper productions. As to goal miners, they

remove the forests to find out whether there are goal underground.

However, many of us fail to realize that forests are the lungs of the

earth. When we cut down trees, we also push ourselves in to a dangerous

situation. That is the global warming. When you come to think about it, there

are only few ways to solve these negative effects: stop cutting down trees

blindly; try to find some clear energy that can replace oil and coal. But these

solutions can be impractical to some degreed.

Why trees can be so important to the whole nature? First of all, trees are

the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy

animals’ habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links.

The result is that many spices of animals and plants are dying out. Secondly,

cutting down trees cause global warming, to some degree. Naturalists compare

forest to human’s lungs. The forests absorb the carbon dioxide and other gas

that cause global warming, and then give off the oxygen that good for the human

beings and other living creatures. It’s refreshed the air as well as reduced the

noise. If the air quality is bad, people may die from cancers, or the new

diseases for which they have no immunity. Forests also play an important role in

the prevention of natural disasters. Warmer temperatures cause water to expand

and also create more water by melting polar ice caps. That’s to say, the nations

which near the ocean may have been flooded by the water. But the forests can

prevent water loss and soil erosion, and cool off the global temperatures. It’s

the key to keep the balance of the nature.

Sometimes people only care about money making; they don’t care about the

price we pay for the pollution. When the disaster is around the corner, we may

be afraid and frustrated. The earth, on which our economies have always been

based, is suddenly threatening our existence. All we hope that is this

overpopulated, over industrialized planet can carry on for a longer time. And

maybe, it’s time for us to realize that we should protect the earth, stop

cutting down trees blindly and madly.

Now, the robbers had a sick plan; and so they took their own gloves, and

when the captain of the robbers was tired, he decided to have a rest, and rested

on the floor.

Ali Baba then got up and out a stuffed animal in there, and then got out of

bed and to the jars of oil. When he found out that in it were robbers, he began

to stamp his feet. “Is that you captain?” asked one of the robbers, “Can we come

out now?” “Yes Erik, you can come out,” but before Erik the robber lifted out

his head, Ali Baba grabbed a knife and killed Erik, and then tied the other jars

on his three mules; and threw them into the pond nearby. And so Ali Baba had

killed all of the robbers.

When morning came, the captain of the robbers woke up. When he found that

his other mates were gone, he ran away leaving his sword on the floor. With this

sword Ali Baba trained to be a knight and became richer as he grew older.

There was once a little boy called Nick that wanted to help everyone in

order to save money for the new automatic toy review.

After a few months of research, he had finally discovered that there was

going to be a big storm and the whole town was going flood. He decided that

today is the day he gets the automatic toy reviewer. After a few minutes he

drove his automatic train car which has many buttons outside; it was just right

for the flood began to flow all around the town.

The news reporter station was just about to report the news when suddenly a

strange noise came from just around the corner, what was it? Was it an automatic

train to save them; that was in it? And what harm could it to themselves. They

stood still until always the sound came bigger and louder every second the time

passes; at last the automatic train car appeared and in sat a little boy who was

Nick.

Everybody knew that Nick couldn’t harm them with the train car, but it was

true; Nick was not going to harm but instead is going to save the whole town,

everybody began to cheer. Some of the townspeople even came near to help Nick;

for they didn’t want to be drowned either.

When the flood was gone, the storm stopped, and the townspeople were all

saved. They thanked Nick. But Nick still didn’t see any people giving him money

as a “thank you.” All they did was telling the news reporter and reported Nick

on the news. Everybody enjoyed it except Nick, for what he wanted was the

automatic toy reviewer.

After the news was finished they ran to Nick’s house, Nick didn’t want to

answer fro he thought of what they were going to say. It was already dawn which

was almost time for watching TV. Everybody begged Nick to let them in. Nick

decided just for this once.

When he opened the door he found people standing outside the door with

purses in their pockets and smiles on their faces. Nick knew that they were not

here to give him money to but eh automatic toy reviewer; but it wasn’t true,

what the people did was to hand out their personal purses to Nick. Nick knew at

once that he barked up the wrong tree about the townspeople; all he really

wanted to the automatic toy reviewer; he received their purses and at last

bought the automatic toy reviewer. That train car which Nick drove out to save

the other people; this was his only one invention.

After a semester of hard, finally put the winter. Although the winter

vacation for children put the winter is especially good, but, winter vacation

homework is not run away, this can let a person very distressed!

A copy of a copy of a work, it almost makes me collapse; however, there are

still many interesting happened during the Spring Festival.

The Spring Festival, my new year together with their parents; second, my

A culture creats a city, the water and soil bring up the people. At the

foot of Erlang mountain, in the middle of Sichuan province, lies a small town

named Tian Quan. I am proud to say: it is my hometown.

Wherever I go, Tian Quan stays in my deep memory forever. I can not forget

the place where I was born and grow up, I can not forget the place where

surrounded by green mountains and water, I can not forget the good and honest

people who working hard in there, I can not forget every river, every street

there.

Standing at the top of the WenBi mountain, you will catch a bird’s eye view

of the whole Tian Quan. You will find it is a beautiful picture including the

mordern colour and old smell.

Looking at the lovly provious animals , such as panda, Takin, Golden

monkey. You will thinks the nature has special power to make life so

wonderful.

My hometown has a long history of culture. There is the

tea-horse-accient-way, which attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to visit .

Walking on the tea-horse-accient-way, you can’t help sign in regret how long our

culture is!

Tian Quan is also famous for it’s culture of tea. In summer , the farmers

work on the tea plantations, you will regard it as a lively picture. If you have

a chance to work on the tea plantations, you can’t miss it! You can enjoy the
