some tools. “He must be the one that fixed the pluming machine in my backyard!”

help him. And the tinker pulled out a stick, and dug a hole in it. In which he

found a bark. He took the bark out of the stick, and gave the stick to grandpa,

saying, “Here my boy; wash it in the brook.” And so grandpa went to the brook,

and washed up the stick. And then he went back where the tinker was standing

with the bark in his hands.

There he found the tinker, dragging some grass from the ground. And then he

took the stick in grandpa’s hand, and used the grass to tie up around with the

bark. Then he slipped the bark back in the stick. And then he took it out,

squeezed the water out, and told grandpa to wash it up again. When he came back,

he put the bark back in it again. And then fitted it into a hole, which he had

dug; and used the end that didn’t have a hole, and fitted it in the ground; a

few months passed, and the tree grew as strong as the strongest man.

It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red

bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in

Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mothers

business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the

rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometowns special product. It is

well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

When I am sick, the doctor always asks me to drink more hot water. Now,

drinking hot water has been most people’s habit, while my uncle tells me that

the foreign people get used to drinking cold water. This is very different. As I

am so curious the world, I want to travel around the world someday.

I like playing guitar，so my father buys me a guitar for fun.It is very

funny.Then my mother asks me to have guitar class.She thinks to learn more skill

is good for me.I start to have guitar class.It is really funny at first.But

later on，I feel very tired.It is not easy to get improved.I want to giveup，but I

insist at last.Now I can pay several songs.I feel proud of it.

Hide and seek will be played by every child, which is my favorite game. I

like to find a quiet park and then play hide and seek with friends. The place is

big and we can hide in many corner. When my friends come close to me, I will be

nervous and hold my breath. The most exciting moment is found by other

persons.

Everybody loves panda, because it is so cute. It is known to all that panda

is very valuable and rare. The government works so hard to protect it from dying

out. Besides panda, there are other species is dying out. We need to protect our

environment, so as to protect the animals. If they disappear, soon human being

will face the same result.

In the east of China， there is a small city---Haimen. I was born there.

Today， I am telling you about my hometown. Haimen is not far from Shanghai. It’s

at the mouth of the Changjiang River. Haimen is a modern city. There are lots of

high buildings in it. Most of us live in flats. We like to live in flats because

we can be close to our friends. In the center of Haimen， there are many shops.

You can buy some nice things here. Things in most shops aren’t expensive. You

can pay a little money and they are yours. My hometown is a beautiful city. On

each of the roads， there are some big trees and nice flowers. The roads are also

very clean. They make people happy and comfortable. The seasons here are very

nice. I like autumn best. It’s neither hot nor cold. A poem says “Flyer of

summer come to my window to sing， then fly away. And yellow leaves of autumn，
