为了准备迎接小升初考试，爸爸妈妈为我报名了睿源外语的“龙班”。一开始，我就被满书的奥数习题吓昏了头，这么多的奥数题都要掌握，明明就是天方夜谭!但我转念又想，既然老师要求我们来学，我们就应该有能力学会，而且也是考试所需要的。镇定下来后，我便专心听老师讲课，慢慢地，作业本上越来越多的习题都会做了。现在我想，奥数题虽然很难，但只要认真听课，认真学习，也并没有想象中那么难。

暑假里另一件重要的安排是网球训练，每周四个上午跟教练单独训练两个小时。教练的球又重又转，很难抵挡，说心里话，刚开始我很心虚上场去站在他的对面，仅仅是应付着勉强能打回去。后来，我战胜了自己的内心，无论多难多累都能够咬牙坚持。渐渐地，我不仅能够跟上教练的训练计划，而且还能逐渐取得对高年级对手的胜利。一次小型的训练赛，我居然赢了一名已经上大学的队员，我无比惊讶于自己的表现，也为自己的努力获得的回报感到无比幸福。

暑假过去了，曾经那些困难让我畏惧。但经历过后，我知道最可怕的并不是别人，而是自己，只有克服了心里的压力和恐惧，战胜自己的内心并付出努力，才能更进一步。

Last summer I spent a two-week vacation at my aunts place. My aunt lived alone in a mountain village, with a small river winding its course everyday.

One morning I went fishing in the river, where two women washed clothes. I fimnd a most favorable point. Casting out my line I waited anxiously for a bite. Suddenly there came a cry: "Help! Help!" I looked in the direction of the call and saw a boy falling into the river. Throwing the fishing pole, I dashed over like an arrow, jumped into the river and swam very quickly towards the boy. Then together with his mother I carried the boy on my back to a nearby hospital. That boy was saved. The mother gave me a thousand thanks.

Back to my fishing place, I fimnd my fishing pole floating on the water. I managed to get it. But to my great surprise, there was a big fish on the hook.

Yesterday, after a long meeting in the class, all the students had been told about the safe issues, then the summer vacation finally came. All of us felt so happy and liked a free bird, rushing to home quickly. I had been looking forward to this holiday for such a long time, I really needed to take some rest after studying for a semester. I have made some plans for my summer vacation.
