society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a

message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also,

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

magazines, journals, etc. in the reading rooms. Modern libraries also have xerox

rooms, and computer rooms.

If you want to borrow books, you can go to the loan desk, look over the

correct call numbers in the card catalog and ask the librarian to take then, out

for you. Or youre allowed to enter the stack room to rind books for yourself,

you can look up the bound volume or index for the articles relative to the

subject, on which you are going to write thesis. If the library doesnt

subscribe to the magazine which carries the article you want, you can borrow the

magazine from other libraries by means of interlibrary loan service.

Dont forget to show your library card or I.D. card to the librarian before

you go into the reading room, where you can read magazines or newspapers. If you

find a good article and want to keep it, you can have it duplicated in the xerox

room. Besides, if you want to watch films or slides, you can ask the

projectionist to play the videotape for you in the audio visual room, where you

can also listen to language tapes and music tapes.

Novak Djokovic is one of the top tennis players in the world. He has won

many grand slams, which is the greatest honor for a player, but there is only

one grand slam he hadn’t achieved—the French Open. In the last three years, he

was so close to the champion, but was defeated by the final winner. In order to

fulfill career Grand Slam, he practised so hard and never felt depressed. This

year, he came to the final match again, everybody wanted him to win the match,

for they knew how important the champion was to him. At the first game, he felt

a little nervous and lost, but in the second and third game, he found his pace

and controlled the match. At last, he beat his rival and finally fulfilled his

career Grand Slam. The dream was not easy to realized but insistance helps him

wins.

有人说五月、六月是父亲、母亲的天，或许对他们来说并没有特别的感觉。的确，在父母那更多的只是“劳动节”。本想在这样的日子里狠狠地感恩一下，然而拙笔实在难以将那份大恩呈现出来，这里我到是很想秀一秀父母之间那份纯情大爱，那份温馨幸福，以此来表达一下节日的心情。——题记

五月春末夏初，站在魂牵梦绕的田野，极目远眺，满眼青葱的麦苗正抽穗养花，一阵清风吹拂，麦浪滚滚。仿佛农人们热闹的劳动场面。思绪一下回忆到儿时，印象中父母一直耕耘在这片土地上，他们相互支持，相互尊重，没有埋怨，也没有伤害，更没有世俗里的名利与纠缠，日子虽苦却是满满的幸福。

父亲从未对母亲说过：“我爱你。”母亲也从未对父亲说过：“我爱你。”但是，我知道，父母之间有爱，有大爱。

母亲嫁给父亲时，我们家一贫如洗。父亲很小的时候爷爷就去世了，父亲兄弟姐妹又多，母亲知道她面前横着什么，但还是要往前走。父亲与母亲的婚事办的很简单，不要说办酒席，连个迎亲的都没有，奶奶只给母亲买了一件灯芯绒褂子，别无其他。

父亲知道母亲没有嫌弃他，跟没有嫌弃他贫穷。父亲对母亲无言，只想让母亲在我们家过得好一点。每一天上工，别人有说有笑而父亲总是默默无语，只是一味地干活，他的工分也总是十分。

母亲知道父亲对她的体贴，对父亲的辛勤劳作她也是看在眼里疼在心里。那时的食物只有高粱面和野菜混合煮的粥，就是这样的饭食每顿能吃饱也是一种奢望。细心的母亲盛饭时总会给父亲先盛一碗稠点的粥。因家中人多，最后盛的自然汤就居多数了。这一小动作，引起了他人的不满，父亲的弟弟、妹妹总在奶奶面前埋怨母亲。日子的清苦让奶奶也无奈，她总是会安慰姑姑和叔叔。奶奶总认为妈妈能到这个穷屋檐下来，就是老王家的福分，更是父亲前世修来的福。

父亲很快就发现了自己的饭食总是稠点，知道这是母亲特意所为。父亲也会故意将粥给母亲换，可是母亲觉得父亲干重活，理应多吃点，会和父亲几番互让，父亲总是拗不过母亲。其实父亲每次都没有吃，总会趁母亲不注意的时候，把那碗粥倒进锅里。困难让人懂得恩爱，懂得谦让，更懂得关爱亲人。

一次姨婆来我们家，带了一些高粱馍。姑姑和叔叔开心极了，能吃一顿高粱高粱馍对他们来说如同吃一顿大餐。因为那样的年代对孩子们来说肚子总是吃不饱，有吃的就是最大的幸福。为了让一家人能“美美”地吃一顿，母亲在做饭时候特意为家人蒸了一些。开锅看到每个馍馍都张开了嘴，仿佛在对母亲开心的笑，母亲也开心笑了起来，但很快她就收敛了笑容。她伸手去够馍，但又像电一样缩了回来。她的手开始有点颤抖起来……

母亲知道父亲每晚翻覆睡不着都是因为肚子空的缘故，母亲犹豫不决。她知道拿了馍将意味着什么，但是她实在心疼自己的爱人，最终还是忍不住。母亲小心翼翼地把一块高粱馍用白洋布裹上放在卧室的小木柜里。做完这件事母亲很满意，仿佛一切做的那么天衣无缝。

没想到这一秘密还是被奶奶发现。晚饭的时候，奶奶突然对母亲说：“孩子，你以后要吃什么就大胆地吃吧……”母亲先是一愣，然后突然明白了奶奶的意思。母亲没做任何解释，眼里却充满了泪水这是委屈的泪水。

父亲不知道这是怎么回事，便要弄个究竟?没有他人的情况下，母亲再也无法控制自己，“哇”地一声哭起来……父亲明白了事缘之后，坐在那里半天没有作声，只是不住地叹气。在那样艰苦的岁月里，虽然父亲拼命地挣工分，但仍然摆脱不了贫穷，生活的担子依然压得人喘不过气来。父亲为没有给母亲创造一个好的生活条件而难过愧疚，父亲哀叹这日子过得真没意思了。母亲理解父亲内心的痛苦，为鼓励父亲树立起生活的勇气，母亲告诉父亲很快家里就要添人丁了。那一刻父亲再也忍不住，腾地一下跳起来，伴随着“哧”的一声，原本就破的裤子被钉子给挂住了，裤子算是彻底完了。母亲轻轻拍了一下父亲，父亲笑了，母亲也笑了，茅草房里笑声一片……

现如今，父亲母亲都已经白发苍苍了，依然生活在乡村，但他们之间那份真情也一如既往。母亲仍像以前一样总喜欢向父亲倾诉有时还有唠叨，不善言辞的父亲也总喜欢一心一意地听。但他们所谈的都与爱情无关，而是与家里的家庭琐碎有关，与农事安排有关，还与他们的子女有关。

在人生的道路上，困难无处不在。很骄傲，我战胜了一个又一个困难;很自豪，我在战胜困难中不断成长。

勇气迸发力量

寒潮来袭，低温，低温，超低温---零下七度!一想到还要到补习班去上课，我内心一阵哀嚎。如此冷的天，可想而知，我的内心是极不情愿的。在家里多好，吹着暖气，看着电视，享受着零食，这是一件多么惬意的事啊!再听听外面刺骨的寒风，将窗户震得哐当作响，风中还旋着雪花，那要打在脸上，得多疼啊!但一想到我还未学好的作文，便鼓起了对抗寒潮的勇气，毅然背起书包，走出了家门。寒风削在脸上，像针扎一样!风在袖管里，风在脖颈里肆意穿行，好冷啊!真想打道回府。但我一想起自己一定要学好作文的雄心，便向辅导班阔步走去。

毅力收获成功

阳光明媚，又是一个好天气。我们一家此时正在武当山的脚下。仰望那高耸入云的武当山，一股征服它的豪气油然而生，我便迫不及待地拉上爸妈朝武当山前进。小路两旁，树木葱郁，我像一只小鸟一样，欢呼着，雀跃着。才刚走两里路，我便气喘吁吁，满头大汗，四肢发软。心中生起放弃的念头。正当我准备劝爸爸不要登金顶的时候，这时我看到一对老夫妇，他们互相搀扶着，口中却没有一句抱怨，我在他们身上看到了我所不具备的毅力，令我心生敬佩。顿时感觉自己充满力量，向着金顶前进!

坚持取得胜利

“今天要训练女子800米，男子1000米跑。”体育委员一声号令，一种恐惧感便袭上心头，但我依然加入了跑步的行列之中。第一圈，我还能轻松地跟上队伍;第二圈，我被抛到了队伍的末尾，有时还跟不上;第三圈，我便气喘吁吁，汗如雨下;第四圈，我头昏眼花，咽干舌燥，四肢无力，还险些摔倒在地上。最后，我跑的比蜗牛还慢。我真想要放弃，但一想到比我身体素质还差的同学都跑过了，想到跑步还要纳入中考中，想到跑步可以加强我的身体素质，想到坚持就是胜利，我便咬紧牙关，坚持跑了过去。我现在每天坚持跑步，身体素质已经提高了很多。

困难像弹簧，你弱它就强。我幸运找到了战胜困难的三大法宝:勇气、毅力、坚持。我将携着这法宝铸就我辉煌的人生。

我有一顶帽子，每天出门它都会陪伴着我，无论天晴还是下雨，我都会戴着它。它的形状有点特殊，圆圆的顶，但四周却是波浪型的边，在帽沿的左边有一个可爱的小人儿，它手中拿着一根魔法棒，应该是一位小魔法师。它的眼睛睁得像弹珠一样大，显得炯炯有神。

今天，我如往常一样，戴上我这顶心爱的帽子就出门了。刚出门，耀眼的阳光就像我发射过来，好在反应灵敏的我迅速地拽下了帽沿，成功地挡住了太阳的一次袭击。这时我仿佛感觉到头侧边的小人儿魔法师微微颤抖了一下，难道是它在操控着这顶帽子?

为了测试这顶帽子是否具有神奇的魔法，我来到一座山脚下，平时不爱运动的我很少爬山，因为我觉得这是一件特别累的事。但今天好像不一样，我感觉自己整个身体像是被某种神奇的`力量提起来了，爬每一个台阶都是如此轻松，仿佛自己脚踏白云，在山路上游走。对!这肯定是魔法帽子给予了我神奇的力量，心中一阵欣喜。

我带着这种难以平复的喜悦之情终于攀爬道了山顶，欣赏着罕见的山顶风光，这时，心里的一股好奇劲儿又往上涌来，要不再试试这顶帽子有没有飞翔的功能?

于是我站在最高的岩石上，向下俯冲而去，像是一只刚刚学会翱翔的小鸟，慢慢展开自己的双臂。一切的感受都是如此美妙，感觉整个世界都尽收眼底，地面的事物离我越来越遥远，它们已经成了无比渺小的微尘。抬头往前望去，我此时置身于云层之间，伸手触摸柔软的白云，却无法将它们紧握在手中。
