Pressure seems to be a natural part in our daily life in this competitive

society. Like it or not there is always pressure of one kind or another. And it

seems there is hardly any way to avoid it or get rid of it. Moreover, as the

pace of modern life continues to quicken, pressure seems to be on the increase

all the time.

Different people have different ideas about pressure. Some hold that

pressure is something very vicious. If there is too much of it, it will lead to

the decline of ones physical and mental health. So they are always complaining

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival in the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. Every year, aunt will pack lots of delicious food. Sweet sweet jujube dumplings for us, especially my mother and I like it best. You can also eat with your elders and sisters at your grandmothers house, and enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival, but this year, it is not so lively. Uncle and aunt went out to earn money. 灯彩：海宁是观潮胜地，又是灯彩之乡，古镇硖石制作灯彩的历史悠久。据传，始于唐而盛于宋，至今已有1000余年历史。其融工艺、书画为一体，以精湛的针刺工艺而独树一帜，早在宋代就已列为贡品。其采用竹篦为骨架造型，糊纸绘图，完全手工针刺花纹，精心制作，巧夺天工。一座灯彩少则刺一万多孔，多则刺二十至三十多万孔，可谓“万窗花眼密”，再配以现代照明技术，集传统“针、拗、结、扎、刻、画、糊、裱”技法与现代高科技于一体，光线透过针眼，构划出一幅幅形象逼真、惟妙惟肖的图画。硖石灯彩不仅名闻江南，在国际上也享有盛名。1910年“南洋劝业博览会”及1934年巴黎“万国博览会”上，均获得奖章和奖状。1955年，周恩来总理将一对硖石花灯作为国礼赠送给斯里兰卡贵宾。1994年海宁市人民政府把硖石工艺社制作的两对宫灯作为礼品，赠给新加坡资政李光耀先生及新加坡中华总商会，受到高度称赞。
