我的家乡

我的家乡是个美丽的地方。它座落在一座不高的绿色山脚下，一条宽阔的河流边。有许多高耸的大楼和宽阔的街道。树木和花草随处可见。

但是它并不是一直如此。在旧社会，它是一个凄凉、肮脏的小镇。地主和商人住在几栋漂亮的房子里。劳动人民只能住在破旧、黑暗、不卫生的房子里或是狭窄、泥泞街道旁的茅屋里。几乎所有人都贫困，许多人没有工作。
