As a result, local hospitals were crowded with people who had problems with their noses and lungs. Part of the cause was the dry weather, but the severely damaged environment contributed a lot to this nightmare. Personally I didn’t get any health problems in the haze because I stayed mostly indoors.But to make a significant change we really have to do more to protect our environment. To live a better life we have to push on with the economy, but it wound be meaningless if we have to achieve it at the cost of our breathing air.

Protecting the Environment

With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people can afford a car. As a result, our roads are more often than not crammed with cars. However, with more and more waste gas being discharged by the cars, the problem of air pollution becomes even more serious. So nowadays we advocate to lead a low-carbon life.

My suggestion is we should ride bikes more often instead of driving cars.By riding a bike, we can not only exercise our body but also protect our environment. Why not have a try, my dear friends?

放眼望去，眼前一片迷茫，不管是清晨，中午或傍晚，雾霾整天围绕着我们，属于我们的新鲜空气不知为何早已销声匿迹。

清晨，看着以前太阳升起时的方向，眼前只是灰蒙蒙的一片依稀看到太阳的轮廓，天空不在湛蓝属于我们的只是一片灰蒙蒙的雾霾，这到底是为何？随着工业的高速发展，设施的不完善都是造成环境污染的原因，但最主要的原因还是我们缺乏保护环境方面的知识。一些地区的工厂随便把污水在河流里排放，因此导致河水变成污水，鱼儿的家园变成鱼儿的噩梦。还有一些工厂为了利益不顾一切，私自排放污气和污水，使我们生活的环境和空气变得如此苦不堪言。污染环境给我们带来了不小的危害。第一，因空气污染人们的身体健康受到了威胁。是白血病，鼻癌，结肠癌，脑瘤的主要根源。听着这些字眼我不由害怕，这些字眼对于我们来说是晴天霹雳，是死亡的代词，是不治之症，可我们明明知道这些对我们人体有害为何不知悔改呢！第二，随着环境污染，被污染的地方将寸草不生，属于我们的绿洲我们将亲手摧毁。最后随着污气的排放，天空不再湛蓝属于我们的蓝天变成灰蒙蒙的一片，我们的生命安全将受到威胁。给我们带来日出行动不便。严重的地区五米外的物体看不清楚，车祸更是家常便饭了。

为了我们的身体健康，为了让社会多一个圆满的家庭，为了让世界有一个美好的明天，从现在开始《保护环境，人人有责》。
