在现代社会发展中，由于人们对工业高度发达的负面影响预料不够，预防不利，导致了全球性的三大危机：资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏。如果我们不注意环境保护，就会严重破坏地球母亲：使地球上的`生态系统受到破坏和影响，如沙漠化、森林毁灭;给人类造成危害，如人类生存环境的质量下降、身体健康和生产活动受到不利影响。

人类只有一个地球，她是我们美丽家园，当地球正面临着严峻的环境危机，为了地球母亲和人类的生存，我们必须保护环境。“救救地球”已成为世界各国人民最强烈的呼声!

怎样拯救我们的地球、保护我们赖以生存的环境呢?首先我们要有保护环境的意识，有依法治理环境的意识，保护生态环境，倡导文明新风!所谓生态文明，是人类文明的一种形式。它以尊重和维护生态环境为主旨，以可持续发展为根据，以未来人类的继续发展为着眼点。

怎样低炭生活呢?其实低碳是一种生活态度，低碳生活是指生活作息时耗用的能量要尽量减少，从而降低二氧化碳的排放量。例如平时我们出行时少开私家车多坐公交车，能减少碳排量;不用一次性木筷，少用纸巾，重拾手帕，每张纸都双面打印能减少森林的损耗;脏衣服用手洗。

能节省水电;随手关灯，少用空调，节电及减少氟利昂的使用;植树为你排放的二氧化碳埋单，排多少，吸多少;绿化不仅是去郊区种树，在家种些花草一样可以;不乱丢弃废电池，使用节能灯泡等。生活中还有很多我们可以做到低碳减排的小细节。

让我们一起携手为环境保护生态文明做出我们应有的贡献。

This summer vacation, I joined a social practice to be a part-time tourguide. There I found something that impressed me a lot.

People who love traveling are always finding places to take a vacation, which caused a lot of troubles.For example, I found that some people were used to dropping out the trash everywhere. They just regarded the sightseeings as their houses, which cost a lot to clean it up. Besides, some one should write down their names on the trees and walls. People who wanted to leave their names whereever they went are always to punish in future.

Nevertheless, I also found some good examples, such as teaching tourists not to destroy the places of historic interests, helping clean up the environment,etc..I think we all need to teach more people not to hurt our precious nature. What we really need to do is protect them form destroying.

在当今世界飞速发展之际，环境污染以成为了全世界以及全深圳市共同面临的重点问题。深圳作为一座国际花园城市，却出现了另一番不协调的景象：深圳河水变得混浊、发臭；汽车尾气弥漫着整个城市的上空，变的灰蒙蒙的；公园里随处可见果皮垃圾；到处都有牛皮癣小广告……。善待城市环境，对于每一个家庭都非常重要，我们不能为了一时的痛快给自己带来灾难。为了让天更蓝，让水更清，让我们的深圳更加清洁美丽，所以，我建议大家：一、爱护环境，保护水资源，节约的用水，不要让眼泪成为最后一滴水。

二、垃圾分类，废物利用，保护再生资源，要有限的资源，无限的循环。

三、少用一次性物品与筷子，多多种树，让树更好的美化深圳。

四、尽量乘坐公共交通工具，降低噪音，减少汽车尾气污染。

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.
