Dragon Boat Festival， often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival， is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.[citation needed] It has since been celebrated， in various ways， in other parts of East Asia as well， most notably Korea.

The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear， but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States Period. 望日的月亮都是圆的，却只在三秋恰半之夜，金风荐爽，玉露生凉，丹桂飘香，银蟾光满。是这样的良夜美景，为什么不团圆?只缘父母远在千里外。二十岁的我奉命来到泉的圣地，中秋之夜一样的皓月当空，可是头上也还是异乡的月亮，我的目光也实在穿不透那空间的桎梏。于是，“无言独上西楼，月如钩，寂寞梧桐深院锁清秋”。

账本越摞越厚，这中秋的欠债怕是今生今世不得还，好在债权人是我的双亲。账外账也是有的：自然的节律早已融进我的生命，化作我的脉搏，中秋的思念浓不可化。

其实，欠债早在我小的时候——大约五、六岁吧——就发生过了。那年临近中秋，一位朋友送给父亲一包月饼，被母亲藏在炕前的一口大缸里，上面盖着几块木板。缸里盛的是玉米或者小麦，小半缸的样子，总之是不在小孩子的兴趣之列的。顽皮的我碰掉了其中一块木板，千不该万不该，还下意识地往缸内窥视了一眼。可以想见，在那样的民生凋敝的年代，如果把那包月饼比作几条鲜鱼，那么我就是一只饥饿的猫。

不记得怀了怎样忐忑的一颗心，我偷吃了半块，慌乱之中没有忘记把包装复原。第二天依然风平浪静，于是我的胆量便渐次升级了。我想母亲是太过忙碌，也太相信自己的孩子了。终于有一天，母亲要拿这月饼去派礼尚往来的用场了，可是她老人家看到的只是一张油渍的纸。一声喝问之下我如实招供，同时恐惧也如电流一般让我颤栗了。我爬上炕，跳窗未遂，很快被逼到墙角，手面上结结实实挨了不下十记鞋底。

我大声地哭叫，随后默不作声，不晓得是痛感在递减，还是内心在默认?

在我的记忆里，母亲打我，这可是今生今世头一遭，也铁定是最后一次。母亲说过，她最后悔的就是背着不满周岁的我，在隆冬的季节，去那滑溜溜的井台打水。我问她：“有一回我偷月饼吃，你拿鞋底子打我，这你不后悔呀?”母亲笑道：“那可是该打，又打不坏你。你小不知道，我是劲儿越打越小呀。”我说：“妈，其实你就该使劲儿打。

后来总是买最好的点心给父母吃，也曾邮寄过月饼。从邮局回来，才意识到落下了什么——是我的热爱和思念，柔软似水而又坚硬如铁，沉重无比而又无影无踪，再大的包裹也盛它不下。年复一年地膨胀，这热爱和思念快要窒息我的呼吸。月亮啊，你慢些走，千百年来你把清辉慷慨撒布大地，这一刻，你可愿意帮我，把热爱和思念捎回故乡?
