Every person needs sleep everyday. But with the high development of

society, most people have more and more things to do and have less time to

sleep. As a result, many people are lack of sleep. For a short time, they may

The Scandinavian countries are much admired all over the world for their enlightened social policies. A parliamentary committee representing all political parties appoints a person who is suitably qualified to investigate private grievances against the State. The official title of the person is Justiteombudsman, but the Swedes commonly refer to him as the J. O. or Ombudsman. The Ombudsman is not subject to political pressure. He investigates complaints large and small that come to him from all levels of society. As complaints must be made in writing, the Ombudsman receives an average of 1, 200 letters a year. He has eight lawyer assistants to help him and he examines every single letter in detail. There is nothing secretive about the Ombudsmans work, for his correspondence is open to public inspection. If a citizens complaint is justified, the Ombudsman will act on his behalf. The action he takes varies according to the nature of the complaint. He may gently reprimand an official or even suggest to parliament that a law be altered. The following case is a typical example of the Ombudsmans work.

A foreigner living in a Swedish village wrote to the Ombudsman complaining that he had been ill-treated by the police, simply because he was a foreigner. The Ombudsman immediately wrote to the Chief of Police in the district asking him to send a record of the case. There was nothing in tthe record to show that the foreigners complaint was justified and the Chief of Police strongly denied the accusation. It was impossible for the Ombudsman to take action, but when he received a similar complaint from another foreigner in the same village, he immediately sent one of his lawyers to investigate the matter. The lawyer ascertained that a policeman had indeed dealt roughly with foreigners on several occasions. The fact that the policeman was prejudiced against foreigners could not be recorded in the official files. It was only possible for the Ombudsman to find this out by sending one of his representatives to check the facts. The policeman in question was severely reprimanded and was informed that if any further complaints were lodged against him, he would be prosecuted. The Ombudsmans prompt action at once put an end to an unpleasant practice which might have gone unnoticed.

The history of life on earth has been a history of interaction between living things and their surroundings. It is not my contention that chemical insecticides must never be used. I do contend that we have put poisonous and biologically potent chemicals indiscriminately into the hands of persons largely or wholly ignorant of their potentials for harm. We have subjected enormous numbers of people to contact with these poisons, without their consent and often without their knowledge. I contend,furthermore, that we have allowed these chemicals to be used with little or no advance investigation of their effect on soil, water, wildlife, and man himself. Future generations are unlikely to forgive our lack of concern for the integrity of the natural world that supports all life.

With the development of technology, today we live in the world with high technology. 椰子是热带水果，只能在马来西亚这种一年四季都很热的地方长。它的外壳是绿色的，像个圆滚滚的皮球。里面的果肉是奶白色的，十分诱人。椰子汁及健康友好喝，清凉爽口，椰肉也更是妙不可言。

各国都有自己的文化习俗，以后我要参观更多国家，了解更多知识。

成长就是同龄人一起进行的马拉松长跑赛，这一路上，我们少不了把自己与同龄人进行比较。犹如赛场上有赛手看他人时一会儿惊叹甲快步如风、一会儿赞扬乙步履矫健、一会儿羡慕丙动作协调一样，很多青少年总会看到谁谁谁又取得了什么成绩，谁谁谁又获得了什么嘉奖，谁谁谁又有了很大进步，联想到自己的不足，人们常常在羡慕他人、自叹不如的同时，年轻的心常常会困惑不已：我的路，该往哪里走呢?

在社会的呼唤指引下，在父母的鞭策唠叨下，一些人怀着渴望成功的心，我们沿着他人风风光光地走着的路往前走去。

因为前面有人成功走过，所以初走别人的路时，他们踌躇满志，期待着自己能获得与前人一样的荣耀，甚至是更大的荣耀。但是走着走着，很多人会发现，这一切远非愿望中的那样——人家干起来兴趣盎然的事，在我看来兴味索然;人家能轻松跨越障碍，在我看来如高山难攀;人家乐此不疲，在我看来一天都难以坚持下去，遑论取得成功和出人头地了。

是你生不如人吗?是你注定此生平庸吗?是你自身努力不够吗?

答曰：否。

你错就错在走的是别人的路——这个世界上有路千万条，每个人都有一条属于他自己的路，不同的路适合不同的人走：适合张三的路，往往不大适合李四走;适合李四的路，往往不大适合王五走;适合王五走的路，又不适合赵六走。假如，让魏征去云游四方，就未必能成为一代诗仙;假如，让李白长期在君王身边伴驾，恐怕早就尸骨难收，怎能指望他成就一代名臣呢?历史没有假如，我们可以从史实中感受到魏征、李白在属于自己的路上竖起了成功的丰碑。

走自己的路，当然比走现成的路更艰难。可是，只有在自己的路上才能最大限度地发挥自己的能动性，才能让自己的人生价值最大化;走自己的路，当然会遇到很多困难，可是，哪条路上无坎坷，成功岂能无拼搏呢?走自己的路，并非是“车到山前必有路”，一定要你正确认识自己，用心去寻找她。

年轻的朋友，让我们带着一颗坚强的心，怀揣一种必胜的信念，扛起一种拼搏的精神去寻找一条路吧——就是那条属于你自己的路!

Almost all of us heard the story Here Comes the Wolf when we were little

kids. What we can learn from the story is that we must be honest. However,

therere lots of phenomena of dishonesty nowadays.

Being dishonest does great harm not only to other people but also to

yourself. Take the case of fake milk powder for example. After drinking this

kind of milk, the babies had big heads while their legs and arms were still

thin, which badly affected their health. To our great relief, the producers got

accused and punished for all the serious consequences in the end.

Having the reputation of being honest and reliable will make other people

trust you, which will provide you many benefits and give you opportunities that

others may not get. Being honest, you will find it easier to cooperate with

others and people will be friendly to you and support you. In a sense, if life

is a longjourney, honesty will be the backpack that should be taken along all

the way.
