自信虽然不是生活的不必需品，但它对我来说非常重要。

如果我有自信，我就不会上课回答问题时满脸通红，像红苹果一样;如果我有自信，我就不会在选主持人和小品演员时假装系鞋带，担心叫到我的名字;如果我有自信，我就不会跟朋友出去玩时见到生人躲在他们后面。在父母面前我是个乖乖女，在亲戚面前我是一个不爱说话的孩子，在朋友面前我是一个活泼许多的同学，只有在好朋友的面前把我最原始的形态暴露出来。我有时就在想是什么让我这么不自信?现在我明白了：是不够多的社交和怕别人嘲笑我的心理!

以前我觉得根本就不需要自信。就在前几天我偶然间读了一篇小故事：某大学生由于不自信，让人认为这样的人不配去留学。一个大好的出国机会没有了。这使我很震惊，我是时候改变一下自己了。我开始积极举手回答问题，但目前我也只能做到这些。

但那一次的朗读比赛让我找到了自信。

站在讲台前我的我，一抬头，就看到同学们微笑的表情，瞬间我浑身充满力量，鼓足勇气，说出了第一个字。呼……压力似乎跟着这个字的吐出减轻了一大半。

那次朗读诗歌非常成功，我发现原来站在讲台这么简单，这么容易。

那次朗读诗歌后，我觉得生活又美好了许多。我开始大胆的提出解题思路，即使那是错的，我也会把我想说的说出来!

自信，我又离你更近了一步;自信，等着我来拥有你。我始终相信：自信，可以使生活更美好，可以使我交到更多的好朋友，使我走出自卑的心理，我开始相信!
