In the second place, ambition can bring one’s potentials to the full. Ambition may well serve as a catalyst activating one’s dormant potentials. Without ambition one’s potentials will remain slumbering like a dormant volcano. A case in point is Ms Zhang Haidi, a Chinese Helen Keller. It was her ambition to be a useful person has turned the almost paralyzed Zhang Haidi into a well-accomplished figure whose achievements would dwarf those of some normal people aim at the sun, though, at worst, they may probably land on the moon.

Influential as it is upon us, however, ambition must be channeled in the right direction. If wrongly directed, one’s ambition may bring havoc on him and others. Hitler, whose ambition was to conquer Europe by whattever evil means, finally turned him into a demon. It was this demon that almost cast Europe into an unfathomable abyss of anguish and suffering. Another case is Macbeth whose ambition was to become the king of Scotland. However, his ambition was materialized by the murder of King Duncan. Consequently, unbearable guilt and psychological agony drove him to his tragic doom.

To sum up, ambition can benefit us tremendously if wisely and correctly channeled, otherwise it may ruin others and ourselves. A poet says: life can be bad; life can be good; life can be dirty; life can be sad,; life can even be painful. In my mind’s eye, a person can make his life beautiful, meaningful and rewarding and stand out as a respectable personage if he is motivated by a well-orientated ambition.

Nowadays, the problem of academic plagiarism becomes more and more serious. In orderto earn academic titles, some teachers plagiarize others academic papers; in order tograduate smoothly, some college students plagiarize others graduation papers. Everything hasits reasons; academic plagiarism is no exception.

First, college authorities put too much emphasis on papers while conferring academic titlesand graduating students. Second, modern technology makes it unprecedentedly easy to getinformation and materials. Some plagiarists who are morally corrupt cant resist thetemptation and decide to take risks. Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can

see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will

continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared.

Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece

of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not

see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of

animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of

fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and

Aducation is not an end, but a means to an end. In other words, we do not educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for life.

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible diseases in our towns.

由石门县慈善总会、县民政局、夹山酒业联合主办的20xx年度“心系寒门学子，奉献真挚爱心”大型慈善晚会在大剧院举行。一双双眼睛流露着希望和感动，一阵阵掌声传递出爱心与温情。浓浓的情谊慢慢升腾，化为一首用行动传递爱心，用爱心回报社会的主题曲。

一个女孩用轮椅推着骨瘦如柴的妈妈，妈妈手上扎着针，在医生和护士的陪同下缓缓走上舞台。她的爸爸在对越自卫还击战中被大炮震聋了双耳，妈妈身患重病，爷爷已到八十九岁高龄。一个本该依偎在父母怀里撒娇的孩子，却过早承担了家庭的负担，过早体验了人生的艰辛。可这一家人仍然连温饱都难以维持，女孩这时考上了大学，真是悲喜交加呀！她是田秋敏，正拿着话筒泣不成声，全场的观众都哭了。接着，主持人又一一介绍了其他十个孩子的家庭情况，都是边远山区的，家境贫寒，可他们发奋学习，渴望走出大山，去感知大山外边的世界，去成就自己的梦想。

一缕阳光，一份温暖。四季因为有了太阳才变得美丽，生命因为多了爱心才变得有价值。《让世界充满爱》响起来了，爱心人士纷纷上台捐款。让我最感动的是我们石门驻地的海军，他们平时保家卫国，在战场上不愿输给任何人，今天在慈善事业上他们也不甘落后，纷纷慷慨解囊，为人民伸出援助之手，真正体现了一衣带水的军民情愫。捐款还在继续，歌声没有停歇，我们的感动如潮水一浪高过一浪……

有一种生活，没有经历过，就不知道其中的艰辛；有一种艰辛，没有体会过，就不知道其中的快乐；有一种快乐没有拥有过，就不知道其中的纯粹。纯粹上升到一定境界，就是爱，因为爱，所以奉献！

在跌宕起伏的节目推进中，做为一名义工的我，也用琴声献上一份爱心，优美的旋律荡漾在大剧院的上空，我怀着激动的心情用心演奏，将感动表达，更将爱心传递。募捐箱前一张张真诚的脸，一双双友情的手汇成了一股股暖流。掌声、泪水、感动汇聚在一起。众人拾柴火焰高，这博大的爱心，终将帮那些孩子成就他们的梦想。对于他们来讲，爱心人士的捐助就是一轮太阳，一轮火红的太阳，一轮能够帮助他们走完以后人生之路的太阳！

爱如春风，如夏雨，如秋阳，如冬雪一直延续着，一直延续着……让我们用爱感动石门，让真情充满人间！

今天是除夕。在人们的盼望中，夜幕渐渐降临了，家家户户都张灯结彩，一派欢乐祥和的景象。

除夕之夜作文1

人来人往的街道，一间间小吃店，是否存在着“家的味道”呢?一间间的高级旅馆，是否存在着“祖孙情”呢?一栋栋总统级的别墅，是否存在着“难忘的童年回忆”呢?我想，山珍海味也比不过那一年只闪耀一次，短暂而美好的光阴。

除夕当天，我的心犹如野马般尽情地奔驰着，满心欢喜。搭上火车，那一片片绿油油的草地，一个个清澈无比的田间小水塘，一大片湛蓝的天空及照亮一切的太阳，映入眼帘的景物让人目不暇给。火车过了一个又一个彷佛无止境的山洞，我脑海中浮现出那令人垂涎三尺，直呼过瘾的家乡菜了!不知不觉中，火车已悄悄的进了站。

火车进站后，只要再搭公车即可到达爷爷奶奶家。踏着轻快的脚步上了公车，激烈摇动的公车急速地把我们载到奶奶家虽然我已晕头转向，头昏脑胀，但一看到奶奶慈祥的脸庞，不舒服的感觉全抛到九霄云外了!奶奶家位于一栋古色古香的公寓，爷爷早就在那里用微笑迎接我们了。之后我们开始准备年夜饭。奶奶说要给我们一个大惊喜，所以不告诉我们，使我犹如丈二金钢般摸不着头绪，奶奶真是用心啊!

接着，今晚的重头戏-年夜饭即将展开，一走到餐桌前，哇!口水犹如排山倒海的洪水般溢出，美食佳肴顿时射出万丈金光：红烧兄弟烤鲈鱼，象征兄弟一条心，虾兵蟹将海鲜部队，象征团结力量大，守卫香肠龙王，象征健健康康，寿命如青龙等宫廷料理。“好吃吗?”“当然!因为这是您主的呀!”。

饭后，小朋友们耐不住自己的急性子，竟一窝蜂地向爷爷，害得爷爷费了好大的劲才安抚了我们。一声令下，鞭炮有如得到解脱般劈哩啪啦地划破了那宁静的夜晚。守岁又犹如是祖孙多年不见的老友一般，使我们磨蹭了许多时光。

最后在那响个不停地鞭炮声及祝贺声中，我许下了愿望：“希望大家在新的一年里，能够健健康康，万事如意，祝大家蛇年行大运!”。

太阳刚刚收起旧年最后一抹笑容，我便迫不及待的来到院子里，寂寞的点燃了烟花，烟花也一枝独秀，孤独的开在空阔的天空。此时伴随我的不是除夕那浓浓的喜气，而是同烟花般——美丽，绚烂……

夜幕降临了，周围隐约也传来星星点点的鞭炮声，我的烟花不再一枝独秀，空中的几个伙伴与它争艳，我还是感觉缺少像烟花这样的喜庆。寂寞中，梦想成真，两个伙伴，陆续走进我孤独世界，给我温馨，使我不再寂寞。院子里的欢声笑语随之荡漾开来。

“东风夜放花千树”，耳边轰隆不断，空中烟花四起，真是万花齐放，百艳争辉。让孤独寂寞见鬼去吧!我拿出更多礼炮，与他俩分享，咱三围起了一个火堆，我们坐在周围，虽然还是那么寒冷，但我们心中好像都火热火热的，手中拿着花炮，小鞭，礼炮……我们嘻嘻哈哈，转眼间，都8点了，春晚该开始了，我们恋恋不舍丢开了手中的烟花，熄灭了燃烧的火堆，点燃了红彤彤的灯笼，跑进屋中，围在电视机旁。

看着这一个个搞笑，生动的面孔，我们的嘴也始终没合拢。“看玻璃”是我今年春晚最喜欢的一个节目，它既给我们展现了妙趣横生的故事，给告诉了我们一个道理：诚实，是做人最基本的原则。

还有几分钟就是2016年了，激动人心的时刻即将来临，我捧出了我家最大的那个烟花，我注视着手表，3、2、1、0，准时点燃了礼花，礼炮声虽震耳欲聋，但那震耳声背后，确是一朵朵美丽的奇葩!春节饺子是除夕夜必不可少的食物，我们吃着水饺，看着晚会的结束，也享受着新一年的开始。

窗外，夜空中盛开的焰火绽放出除夕特有的喜庆;屋里，电视里春晚的盛宴写意出新年仅有的辉煌。除夕之夜，即将逝去，初一之旦，就要来临。崭新的2016，等待着我和我的伙伴去拥抱、奋斗与拼搏。

过年啦!过年啦!这个新年我们是在乡下过的。我们在那儿度过了一个别出心裁的除夕夜。有很多亲戚参加。

年夜饭开始了，首先姑姑说：“春联是过年的代表之一，我们来对春联吧，对不出的可要表演一个节目哟。”“好!”大家笑着说。姑父提问：“一声鞭炮一声福。”晶晶表妹抢先说：“一朵鲜花一朵红。”“哈哈，鲜花与过年有什么关系?对得不好。”大家都笑了。“哦，我知道了!一束烟花一束喜。”表姐喊道。奶奶摸着表妹的头说：“这个不错。晶晶啊，你可要和燕姐姐学习。”表姐想了一想对我说：“盈盈，你来对。”“凤舞欢笑辞旧岁。”“龙腾喜悦闹新春。”我在书上看见这些对联，此时正好用上了。“很好!”表姐点头说。“我来问，一声鞭炮喜人心，表姐，你对。”我微笑着问表姐。“这——，我不知道。”表姐低下头思考着。“应该是‘几句祝福暖友意’表姐，请你表演一个节目吧，哈哈。”我说。“对呀，对呀”大家附和道。“好吧。”与我同龄的表姐想了一想，唱出了这学期学的《新春到，步步高》：“新春到……辞旧迎新步步登高!”表姐歌声清脆悦耳，她一边唱，一边跳起了欢快的舞蹈，让大家都陶醉了。客厅里大家一边对着春联，一边吃着丰盛的年夜饭，温馨又热闹，大家都兴高采烈。

吃好晚饭，我们决定放鞭炮，赏烟花。我们把一串鞭炮系好，然后用香烟点燃了它。刹那间，噼里啪啦的声音响起，震耳欲聋。我们高兴的喊道：“鞭炮响，晦气跑!”长长的鞭炮响了很久才放完。放完鞭炮我们便坐在门边的小椅子上看烟花。烟花很美!它五颜六色的，红的黄的绿的都有，有的甚至是混合色的。“砰”的一声，一束彩线飞上天空，瞬时爆炸，五颜六色的线条向各个方向散去，甚是绚丽。燃烧的烟花与我们的笑脸成为夜晚最壮观的风景。在点点光亮中，我许下了我美好的愿望：愿在新的一年里所有人都健康快乐，生活像烟花一样绚丽多彩。

夜以至深，柔和的月光照亮了大地，万家灯火依然火树银花，在美丽的烟花中，新的一年开始了。这真是一个难忘的除夕之夜啊!

今天是除夕。在人们的盼望中，夜幕渐渐降临了，家家户户都张灯结彩，一派欢乐祥和的景象。

除夕夜照例要吃团圆饭。在我们家里，妈妈是名符其实的“大厨”，这会儿正一边哼着小曲，一边娴熟地翻炒着菜呢。不用说，今晚肯定会有一桌丰盛的年夜饭。平时很少做家务的爸爸这时也没闲着，在一边认真地擦着桌子。我呢，当然也不好意思坐享其成，就乖乖地在家听大人吩咐，当他们的下手。

很快，妈妈就做好了一桌菜。我们全家围着桌子坐下来，爸爸特意为我斟了一杯我爱喝的弥猴桃果汁，然后朝我举起杯说“祝我们的小公主在新的一年里学习进步，健康快乐!”我赶紧站起来敬爸妈：“祝愿爸爸妈妈身体健康，万事如意!”是的，为了这个家，爸爸经常工作到深夜，妈妈每天要赶20多里路从班上回来为我做饭，今天看着他们慈祥的面容，感觉他们一下子都老了许多。作为女儿，我无以回报，只有好好学习，不辜负爸爸妈妈对我的期望，并衷心祝愿爸爸妈妈身体健康、永远快乐!

吃过年夜饭，爸爸便把早就准备好了的烟花拿出来，陪我一起到室外玩。

不记得是哪一年了，爸爸见我很羡慕别人家孩子放烟花，从此，放烟花就成了我除夕夜必备的娱乐节目了。和往年一样，我也叫来小姨一起玩。我先拿了一个“五彩缤纷”，小心翼翼地点燃引线，随着“嗖”的一声，一朵红花一冲而上，很快在几米高的地方展开，刹时，红的、橙的、黄的、绿的、蓝的、紫的等五颜六色的花儿一齐开放，好象天女散花一般。接着，小姨点燃了一个“金元宝”，几朵金色的茶花你追我赶地飞向了天空，并渐次开放，令人赏心悦目……冷不丁地，爸爸放出了一个我从未见过的扁圆的烟花，只见一个银色的圆盘贴着地面不停的旋转，并向四周散射出耀眼的光芒，奇妙极了!爸爸告诉我们这叫“银陀螺”，点燃后不升向天空，而是在地面旋转，所以要在空旷的地方才能放。爸爸把剩余的“银陀螺”发给我和小姨，我们抢着放，不一会儿，地上一片银光乱闪，好象发生星球大战一般，好一个“银陀螺”!越来越多的人出来了，还有人抱来如石磙一般大的礼花炮，一时间人声鼎沸，鞭炮齐鸣，天空被礼花映得如同白昼。小朋友们拍着手，跳着、笑着……时间一点一点过去了，鞭炮声也一点一点地减弱，剩下的礼花依然开放着。哦，幸福的花呀，开在天上，开在地上，开在每个人的脸上，也开在我的心中……
