People usually go home to spend the festival with their family。 They have a big family get-together。 The Chinese people have big meals and watch TV during the Spring Festival。 They also visit their friends and relatives。

Children like the Spring Festival very much because they needn’t go to school and they have a lot of time to play。

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. 我的家乡是美丽的。“乌鲁木齐”，春秋两季较短，冬夏两季较长，昼夜温差大。每年6至10月，花木争艳，瓜果溢香是旅游的黄金季节。隆冬时节，满城银装素裹，玉树琼花，自有一番北国情趣；我的家乡是美丽的。虽然依偎的天山没有珠穆朗玛峰那么壮阔，但它自有一种魅力让你对它有种难忘。皑皑雪峰耀眼夺目，冰川雪水浇灌万物，养育着各族儿女；我的家乡是美丽的。这里有着浓郁的穆斯淋风情，大巴扎浓厚的伊斯兰建筑，大街小巷独特的清真小吃，少数民族的服饰歌舞，使你仿佛置身于中亚某地；我的家乡是美丽的。在全国人民的鼎力支持和各族儿女的共同努力下，一座座高楼大厦拔地而起，一个个交通枢纽应运而生。这边，绿草和鲜花长廊装扮了河滩快速路。那边，四通八达的“田”字路又在城市半空中穿梭……

乌鲁木齐，准噶尔蒙古语意为“优美的牧场”。 现如今，随着经济的建设和社会的发展，文明、进步、和谐取代了愚昧、落后、纷争，这里哪里还有“风吹草低见牛羊”的草原风情？家乡每天都在发展，家乡每天都在变化，发展变化的速度，让离开新疆没几年的姑姑回来看奶奶时，都感慨“找不到回家的路”。

小河，听起来很熟悉，这是个常见的东西。可我最爱的是家乡的小河。我的家乡在朋普，那里山好水好，景更好。有好吃的特产甘蔗、玉米……。有好玩的西山坡。

在我们那儿，树是常见的，小河却不是很多。所以我特别喜欢小河，喜欢它的稀少，它的稀少更说明了它的珍贵。我更喜欢它一年四季的样子。

看，春姑娘迈着轻盈的脚步来到世上，小河也渐渐地苏醒了。它伸了个懒腰说：“春天到了，又是一个美好的季节，我也应该珍惜这美好的春光！”说完，它便坐了起来，向前轻轻摇摆。小河走到花儿旁边，轻轻说：“小可爱们，该起床了！”花儿竟奇迹般的绽放开来，显得格外耀眼，像独自站在舞台中央的女主角，轻轻甩一下头发，就迷死了亿万观众。小河毫不空闲，它又拿起牙刷，刷起牙来。

夏公主也耐不住寂寞，脱着长长的风纱裙跑来了！小河被阳光照得很有精神，它又开始了它的工作。“啊……哈哈……！”这是谁呢？噢！原来是一群顽皮的小朋友。他们穿着短衣短裤向小河跑来了。活蹦乱跳下了小河，只见他们躺在小河里，一副悠闲自在的样子。而小河呢，很是开心，它终于有伴了，它开心的和小朋友们玩起了捉迷藏。

不知不觉，秋伯伯来了。它轻轻一挥手，树上的树叶飞舞飞舞了。看着农民伯伯忙着收稻谷的样子，小河得意洋洋地点了点头。秋伯伯又吹了吹，吹得小河旁边的枫树快乐的摇着手。为了庆祝秋天的到来，它们还特地举办了舞会呢！它们飞呀飞，飞到了小河里，它像一艘船，一艘沉重的船。小河为了使它前进，特地一吹，小船前进了……

终于，人们最喜欢的冬天来了。小河也很是喜欢。它欢呼着，小朋友更欢呼着。欢呼玩了，小朋友们又在打雪仗，小河则在一旁当啦啦队。虽然嗓子喊破了，但它依旧很开心。终于，小河累了，它在一片白花花的世界里睡着了……

Last summer holiday, I visited to Xiamen with my parentsby plane. My

English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of

visiting. We stayed there for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On

the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen

University is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in China.

Indeed, its fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we

enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, We visited to Gulangyu.

Its amazing and I like it very much. There are many small specific stores.

However, the huge tourist visitors make the small island crowed. Anyway, it was

a pleasant trip.
