him very much. Boss thinks highly of him in the company. Sometimes, we should

result.

From what has been mention above, a good disposition is an important factor

to our success. Therefore, how to develop a good disposition is essential.

什么是成功What is Success?

What is the definition of success? I believe different people will have different opinions about it. If anyone asks me what is success for me， I will tell him progress is success for me. I can have small goal or great aim in my whole life. If the goal what I set is too large for me， I will not taste the feeling of success. Or I always set small goals， so I will feel success all the time， which may make me become autophilia and without ambitions. Therefore， I think if I can be better than yesterday or last time， then I am successful.

成功的定义是什么?我相信不同的人会有不同的看法。如果有人问我对我来说成功是什么，我会告诉他进步就是成功。在我的一生中我可以设定很多小的或者大的目标。如果我定的目标对我来说太大了，我就尝不到成功的滋味。或者我设的目标太小了，这样我一直都会处于成功中，这也许会使我变得自恋没有雄心壮志。因此，我觉得要是我能够比昨天或者上一次好，这样我就算成功了。

in history, there have been many famous people of great achievements. you may claim that they are geniuses. but behind their successes, they have made great efforts in carrying out their tasks. einstein said “genius is one percent of inspiration and ninety-nine percent of perspiration.”  he had been working hard for many years before he finally worked out his theory of relativity. thomas edison experienced countless failures before he finally invented the electric bulb. wang junxia was able to win the world championship of long distance race only because she had many years of hard training. therefore, diligence is the key to success. doubtless hard work promises fruitful result. everyone is awarded the right to work hard in order to reach his goal. apparently, diligence is necessary to success. happiness is nearly always a reward for hard work.

on the other hand, idleness is believed to be the root of all evil. anyone who habitually likes idling but desires everything is daydreaming. we should be aware that if we dream away our precious time, when we wake up, it may be too late for us to achieve anything. so, as college students, we should never stop working hard so that we will remain successful in the future competitions.

最近，我读了一本好书—《八十天环游地球》。它是由法国的科幻小说家儒勒·凡尔纳的一部佳作。小说主要写了一位英国绅士—菲利斯·福克先生在改良俱乐部和朋友们用20000英镑打赌用八十天环游地球一周的所有故事。

虽然这本书读完了，但我仍然回味无穷。福克先生花了高价赢得了这一次的赌。他用自己的勇气和信心不断得克服种.种困难;他用自己的勇气和信心告诉自己：胜利就在前方!他那坚定的意识告诉他：只能向前，不能退后!

其实在生活中也是这样，你总会遇到一些麻烦事儿，这时你也要用勇气、信心和你坚定的意识，把这件事做下去，即使失败了也没有关系，俗话说：失败是成功之母!你总能从失败中学习知识，积累经验。知识越学越多经验越积越多，只要你付出努力，总有一天你会成功。

在生活中我们都要分秒必争，就像福克先生，就这短暂的几秒中，使他赢得了赌，如果没有这短暂的几秒种福克先生将倾家荡产。所以我们一定要珍惜时间，不要让生命中的每一秒钟浪费!

从中，我还悟出了一点道理;世上无难事，只怕有心人!任何事，只要你付出了努力总有一天你会成功!
