I like to travel to different places, I can see the beautiful scenery and

get to know the different cultures. My friends and I always travel together, we

White pollution persists

WEVE been hearing and talking about it for a fairly long time： curbing what has become known as “white" pollution. But still we are using the white polystyrene （PS） foam food containers and other disposable plastic products， which largely make up this form of littering.

Miandianwang， a well-known local fast-food chain， is still handing out takeout food in these PS foam containers， even though they should been phased out before December 31， 2000， under a Central Government decree. One of the waiters said in its outlet on Hongli Road on Monday that they are going to switch to environmentally friendly containers “some time in the future".

However， the Miandianwang outlet in Sams Club， which is affiliated with Wal-Mart， is offering take-out food in light brown containers which are biodegradable. Liang， a clerk with Sams Club， told Shenzhen Daily yesterday that the club required the Miandianwang outlet to do so in its contract.

According to Liang， all the departments in the club switched to biodegradable containers during the Spring Festival holiday.

Zhao Hua， with the energy division of the Shenzhen Municipal Economic Development Bureau， one of the five municipal government departments involved in the curbing of white pollution in the city， said on Monday that large companies and retailers like Wal-Mart and Vanguard have responded to the decree by switching to biodegradable containers. We flew across the Pacific to the tiny island from Beijing. After we booked

into a hotel, we rested. Our fun started the next day and lasted for two long

weeks. During our time there, we ate delicious exotic food and drank numerous

fruit juices. The Hawaiians are very proud of their unique food, often spiced

up with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese. There were

also fantastic beaches right accoss the tiny atoll. The water was sparkling blue

and the sand dunes radiated with an inviting warmth of gold. The place was

wonderful and the locals were really nice; I really enjoyed my holiday.

“咱们个老百姓，真呀嘛真高兴。”我怀着愉快的心情，哼着小调来到学校，走进教室，只见我班一些同学手里紧握着书，口中念念有词，王俊呢，对着英语书悲愤地唱着：“我恨你，恨着你，就像老鼠爱大米，我真的想一口一口吃掉你……”这时，只见一同学说：“今天要英语考试！”“啊！”

我平生最怕的就是英语，今天竟然又将英语考试，“完了”，我想：“反正考不好，与其在那里依哇依哇乱叫，还不如玩我的。”

过了一会儿，重量级高手英语老师抱着试卷，一脸严肃走进教室，带来一股暗藏杀气的凉风，满场学生顿觉毛骨悚然，卷子很快发了下来，我一看卷子，它不认识我，我不认识它，唉，没办法，我只好硬着头皮一顿乱做。

过了几分钟，我做“完”了，抬头一看，我班大部分同学都做“完”了，大家像武林中人“成功似”地长长吁了一口气，好轻松呀！正当我们修心养性，得意洋洋的时候，老师说交卷了：“算了，死就死吧，反正我英语成绩历来不好，死猪不怕开水烫”。

第二天，老师带着一把“生死状”，杀气腾腾走进教室，说：“你们昨天考得真好啊！五个及格！”“哈！”我心想：“大家都没考好，我就不怕啦！”

老师讲了一番深刻的话语后，终于开始报分了，真是“不堪入耳”，50分，32分，43分，10分……我的心情也慢慢紧张起来，“万一我考个全班倒数第一，那就完了，“彭岭，37分。”我长长吁了一口气，幸好不是全班倒数第一，不过考这么差，班主任——英语老师不会把我活剥了吧？“李锋25分！”终于有人给我垫背了，压在我心上的石头将要放下的时候，说曹操曹操到，杨老师来整风了，只见杨老师气势汹汹，来者不善，我缩成一团，生怕老师把目光放在我身上，只见杨老师在台上讲啊讲啊讲了一大堆，只有最后一句“明天继续考”如雷贯耳。

苍天啊！饶了我吧！

昨天，我背着沉重的书包上学的时候，看到一群小孩子举着玩具在玩闹嬉戏。顿时，这像一辆记忆的推土机，轰隆隆推开了我尘封的记忆。

时光倒转六个车轮，我上一年级，没有家庭作业，每天只高兴的玩耍，自由自在，好不快活!每天都会有许多时间读书。伴着夕阳，童话中的白雪公主和七个小矮人就跳下书来和我玩耍，那样的日子是多么令人留恋啊……

一年又一年，窗台上的花开了，又谢了。我长大了，跨入了中学的校门，随着功课的增加，作业也渐渐加码，我们就像一辆辆磁悬浮列车，双轨的压力促使我们不停地前进!

在成绩上升，老师赞赏，家长奖励的同时，我们的快乐随之而减少。我们不在疯狂的玩耍，不在每晚守着电视看动画片。我们长大了，我们成了标准的“模范孩子”。我们变得拘谨，不再打打闹闹，偶尔提到“玩”字，他似乎来自火星，离我们太远太远了。

谁说小小少年没有烦恼?小小少年也会成长。小时候，幻想自己在一夜间长大，口袋里有用不完的钱，可以买到漂亮的发卡，彩色的橡皮筋，还有可口的零食，想干什么就干什么，不用上学，不用考试，多么愉快啊!可是今天，已经成为小大人的我，马上就要实现自己童年幻想的我，怎么突然退缩了呢?怎么突然想在当一次小孩子了呢?啊，我这是怎么了?

“姐姐，姐姐”的喊声让我一下子清醒过来。一群小孩子望着我，红红的小脸上透着纯洁天真。我扭头看了一下肩上的书包，使劲向上甩了一下，向小孩子们道别。是的，我长大了，肩上也担负着重任。我不再是小孩子了。我应该懂得成长的意义了。它是磨练，是牺牲，是痛苦，是泪水，更是另一种坚强。谁都需要成长。每个人身上都有责任。

我背着书包，坚定的向学校走去。我已经长大了，我不再是小孩子了。

人的一生，就像一部灯的变迁史，为什么我会这么说呢?听我给你慢慢道来。

人一出生，就像一根蜡烛，很容易受伤，很容易夭折。就像蜡烛，轻轻一吹，它的火焰就开始摇摆;风再大一点，它可能就熄灭了。

大概五六岁时，人像煤油灯，可以长时间照明了，但一不小心，就可能带来火灾。也正是在这时，我们步入学堂。

七岁到二十多岁，人像台灯，常常一亮就亮到晚上七八点甚至十一二点，我们在这个阶段，汲取了人生中最多的养分—知识。

步入社会，开始工作，我们又变成了一串串灯中的一个。我们开始发现，在社会中一个人单干的成功率很低;还发现，一些人只是为了利益才接近你，我们开始对他们敬而远之。

工作几年后，我们是夜里的电灯，常常加班加点工作，用自己最大的努力来换取更美好的人生，更光明的未来。

五六十岁临近退休，我们开始变得力不从心，向快没有电能的电灯。在这时，我们慢慢地将生活的重心转向家庭，开始去融入这个温暖的集体。

剩下的二十几年，我们开始享受属于自己的人生，但我们也像一只被用了很长时间而快要停止工作的灯，我们对社会的义务接近尾声，我们的一生也即将结束。

人的一生，从蜡烛到煤油灯，直到一盏旧灯，我们一直在发出光亮，为这个世界变得更美好去奉献出自己的一份力，每个人都会经历这过程，许多人平淡无奇的离开，也有人奋力发出自己一生中最亮的一刻，因为他们相信奋斗过的人生不会平淡，奋斗过的人生更不会后悔。

每个人都有着改变世界的初心，但许多都被时间的长河湮没，让我们把握好初心这盏灯，勇敢地去追逐自己的梦想。
