接着我们来到大钟的旁边排队敲钟。轮到我敲钟的时候，我抱着木头用力向大钟撞去，大铜钟“咚——”地发出震耳欲聋的响声。这时我想：如果一个人钻进大钟里去的话，让我敲一下钟的话，那该多好玩呀?他不用坐在秋千上也能荡秋千一了!

到了半山腰，我看到了数不清的繁茂的大树和花草。再向山下眺望，海、江水、湖等映入眼帘。在这种境界，既使人惊叹，又叫人舒服，既想久立四望，又想坐下低吟一首奇丽的小诗。

莲花山那凉爽的微风，清新的空气，还有那美丽的景色，使我留连忘返!

Hello everyone， I’m …You can call me… I am a sunny and hard-working girl from Class 79 ，Grade 1 of CE  JING  Middle School. It’s my great honor to take part in this oral petition. The title of my speech today is “Traveling and Reading”

As an ancient Chinese saying goes， “He who travels far knows much”. In my opinion， modern life is impossible without traveling. For me， there are two kinds of traveling. On the one hand， traveling on foot brings me many benefits. It can make me enjoy my holidays and many different life styles; it can broaden my vision， let me learn more about other countries or cultures. On the other hand， reading is another kind of traveling. It can bring me to the places where I can not go for the time being. Books are the best friends of human being. Books make my eyes and imagination enjoy the beautiful scenes through writhers’ wonderful description.

I have been to Beijing， Nanjing， Shandong， Hangzhou， Suzhou and other places. At the same time，I have been reading many books of different world-famous writers. The places I’ve been to and the places I only travel on books both impress a lot on me.

Mobile Phone Obsession

As the drawing presents, there is a man walking across the street absorbedly focusing on his cell phone without noticing the surroundings. This sort of phenomenon is not uncommon and rare in some metropolis, especially among the youngsters.

What the picture illustrates is the prevailing situation that has long existed in todays China. That is the mobile phone obsession. With the advent of information age, people are becoming

increasingly fascinated on the electronic products, especially the cell phones. Not surprisingly, you could easily notice that most of us are obsessed in sending messages, playing online games with their mobile phones. It cannot be denied that this phenomenon may negatively impact the relationship among people, and therefore they will become estranged and isolated.

England is the best place Ive ever been. Everything is so beautiful. I spent about one and a half days on the plane. When I arrived at Heathrow Airport in London, it was evening and the GREat trip was starting. there were many places I v is ited in London, like Big Ben, Westminster, the Tower of London……those are very famous. Most of the time in the afternoon, my parents and I sat and walked in the park. Have you seen“Notting Hill”before? the story in the movie happens in London. the Brit is h museum, Musee de Louver and the Metropolitan Museum of art are the three largest museums in the world. Ive v is ited two of them. then we left London for Cambridge, Windsor Castle, York and Stonehenge. they were excellent . During the summer holidays， my fahter and I visited Beijing. On the second day after we got to Beijing， the guide took us to climb the Great Wall. On that day， it was sunny. I couldn‘t wait to climb upward， taking my father‘s hand. How many people climbing the Great Wall are! My father and I took photos among the crowd as we climbed. After half an hour. Last winter holiday, I went to Harbin with my mother.
