Every year, Spring Festival makes me happy, because I can spend a long

holiday to stay with my families. On the New Year’s Eve, all the families got

小时候，我总喜欢把所有的快乐像押宝似的押在除夕这一天。这一天，我可以吃到香喷喷的猪肉白菜馅饺子;这一天，我可以穿着新衣服在院子中嬉戏;更重要的是，这一天，父母可以放下繁重的工作，带我出去逛庙会、串亲戚。因此，除夕是一年中最快乐的一天。后来渐渐长大，发现除夕并不是那样甜，似乎有些酸、有些涩。除夕中蕴藏着一个个回家的故事。每一个主人公便是远在他乡的游子，他们讲述着不同的远行故事，却有着相同的人生感悟——过年回家。那一年，姑姑插队回家，爸爸和爷爷、奶奶的除夕夜充满了泪水，晶莹的泪光代替了所有的语言。那一年，我们拆迁，拆掉的是我们拥有童年、青春、回忆的“家”。除夕，我忘记了怎样度过，只是依稀记得雪花纷飞，我们穿行在北京的各个街道，望着万家灯火的北京城，看着别人过年。现在想想，那一年，的确很艰难。时光荏苒，爷爷、奶奶渐渐地老去。泪水的咸味、坚忍的苦味围绕了他们一辈子，除夕却使他们的苦难、辛酸凝结成金黄的透明琥珀，在流光的照耀下，熠熠发光。堆成小山的礼品并不是他们最想要的，他们只求儿女平安，能够常回家看看。他们愿意在除夕那天，把自己的宝贝拿出来。一张张过期的粮票，一双双崭新的鞋垫。每一样东西都是那样珍贵。他们愿意活着，愿意和儿女过除夕，愿意享受爱的味道。

北京对于过年的食俗是十分讲究的。年夜饭在每一个家庭占有举足轻重的地位，也许是“糕”与“高”谐音，又有喜庆和吉祥的好彩头，因此年糕是我家必备的。蒸一屉的时间总是那样漫长，好像过了一个世纪。在揭盖的一瞬间，一团雪白的蒸汽扑面而来，香味也弥漫了整个厨房。“肉皮冻儿”做法简单，价廉物美，深受大家的爱戴。黄豆(要泡过)、胡萝卜、花生、肉皮，和白肉汤同煮，加上少许酱油和盐，煮熟后盛入容器中，凉了以后自然凝结成块。食用时，再蘸一些腊八醋，味道真是美极了。“初一的饺子，初二的面，初三的合子往家转。”每一天都有着不同的习俗，初一不必说，初二吃面是为了挑寿，祈愿可以长命百岁，初三则因为合子是圆形的，可以“转”，意思是往家里多赚钱，取财源滚滚的意思。初五俗称“破五”，这一天，捏紧饺子就代表着捏住了小人的嘴，不让他们拨弄是非。

庙会的热闹是显而易见的。人们带着喜气，各自逛的不亦乐乎，精细地挑选着适合的年货，摩肩接踵的人流，满载而归的收获，透出了过年的气氛。此起彼伏的吆喝声，汇聚成一首首欢快的交响曲在人们耳边回荡，抱着玩具、提着灯笼，大人、小孩，老人、青年，每个人脸上都洋溢着幸福的微笑。

元宵节又称“上元节”，含有新的一年第一次月圆之夜的意思。月圆人团圆，各家各户围坐在一起，吃着元宵，谈论着关于历史的传说。正月十五闹元宵，一个“闹”字就把元宵节那种喜悦表现的淋漓尽致。据说，旧时北京为了庆祝元宵节，夜晚灯市口街道的两旁会点燃彩灯，照耀得北京城如白昼一般明亮。人们三个一群、两个一伙地观赏着造型奇特的灯笼，争相猜灯谜，那种热闹感觉从不亚于过除夕。

二月二，龙抬头。不同的地域有不同的吃食，但却与龙息息相关。所有普通的食物都加上“龙”的头衔，水饺是“龙耳”、馄饨是“龙眼”、面条是“龙须”。吃春饼即是“吃龙鳞”这样的比喻是很形象的，手掌大的春饼就像一片圆圆的龙鳞，在上面抹些甜面酱，夹些豆芽、黄瓜、粉丝、菠菜，轻轻一卷，鲜香爽口，美味至极。中国人之所以对龙如此敬畏，是因为龙作为中国的图腾，一直庇护着整个民族、庇护着每一个龙的传人。

随着时间的变迁面对春节，有人会觉得年味越来越淡了，从前的那种渴望过年的感觉渐渐模糊了。其实，年并没有变，改变的是社会。相比以前，我们现在的物质、精神生活都有了极大的提高，每天都像是在过年，丰盛的菜肴时时刻刻都停留在餐桌上，等待过年的心情也随之消失的无影无踪。

腊月里，脚步变得匆匆忙忙。为了采购年货，要在超市一遍遍地转，要把所有需要的东西都搬回家。腊月里，心情变得欢欣雀跃。看着家人平安健康，看着窗明几净的房间，才明白家永远是我们心灵的港湾。腊月里，电话变得忙忙碌碌。听到远方的嘱咐，听到亲戚的问候，一种贴心的温暖油然而生。腊月里，思绪变得无比复杂。望着爸爸脸上增加的皱纹，望着长高的小外甥，忽然觉得自己身上要承担起沉甸甸的责任。腊月里，事情变得异常烦琐。探亲访友、参加活动，时间总是很短，相聚总是很短。腊月里，一路奔跑，一路幸福。

有时民俗固然很多、很烦琐，但是它蕴涵的意义却很深远。年年岁岁，岁岁年年，听的、看的、想的、说的、做的、吃的、喝的、玩的、乐的，无不充满着过年的味道，有点神圣，却充满了喜悦和期盼。从我们睁开双眼打量世界，就开始拥有春节。经历悲欢离合，酸甜苦辣，才明白顺境不洋洋得意，逆境不垂头丧气。

春节到了，新的一年也就来了。每当这一天到来，我们一大家子就团聚在爷爷家。

一大清早，我就穿着新衣服去了爷爷家，大人们开始忙乎着过年。到了爷爷家，只见门口挂着大红灯笼，门上贴着鲜红的对联，洋溢着浓浓的喜庆气氛。进了爷爷家大门，爸爸妈妈就进了厨房里帮着做饭。那梆梆的切菜声与锅碗瓢盆碰撞声奏出了一曲欢快的厨房之歌。外面的鞭炮声高低起伏，处处都聚集着新春的喜悦。

到了晚上，开始吃饭了，大家各就各位，爸爸妈妈把一碟又一碟的美味佳肴端到了餐桌上，一碟比一碟香，让我们垂涎三尺，最后端上来的是一锅水煮饺子，一个个饺子在沸腾的汤水中翻滚，汤面上散发着腾腾热气。光看就觉得很好吃。“唔，这饺子包的不错，既有肉又有蔬菜，既好吃又好看。”大伯首先赞赏道，“不错，还有点甜呢，看起来孩子们都十分爱吃。”爷爷看着正在狼吞虎咽的我们，不由得笑了起来。这顿饭，虽然并不是用一些上等食材做的，也不是出自名厨之手，但这些普通的家常菜，我们却吃的很香，因为这里面包含了一种情感，这就是亲情。

吃完饭后，我和哥哥姐姐一起给爷爷奶奶鞠躬拜年，哥哥对爷爷奶奶说：“祝您们身体健康，万事如意！”姐姐对爷爷奶奶说：“我祝您们二老生活安康，长命百岁！”我也不甘示弱，对爷爷奶奶说：“我祝您们福如东海，寿比南山！”爷爷奶奶听了我们说的话后笑的合不拢嘴，从身后掏出了几个红包给我们压岁钱，我们几个拿了钱以后欢天喜地地跑出去玩了，留下了几个顽皮的背影。

春节不但为我们带来了快乐，更让我们感受到亲情的滋味。

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays。 It is sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by English speakers。 The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival。 Chinese New Years Eve is known as chú xī。 It literally means "Year-pass Eve"。

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar。 The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions。 Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most。

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese， Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors， as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction。 These include Koreans (Seollal)， Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar)， Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar)， Vietnamese (T?t)， and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu)。 Outside of Mainland China， Hong Kong， Macau， and Taiwan， Chinese New Year is also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations， such as Singapore， Indonesia， Laos， Malaysia， the Philippines， and Thailand。 In countries such as Australia， Canada and the United States， although Chinese New Year is not an official holiday， many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post， Canada Post， and the US Postal Service issues New Years themed stamps。

Within China， regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely。 People will pour out their money to buy presents， decoration， material， food， and clothing。 It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good ining luck。 Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”， “wealth”， and “longevity”。 On the Eve of Chinese New Year， supper is a feast with families。 Food will include such items as pigs， ducks， chicken and sweet delicacies。 The family will end the night with firecrackers。 Early the next morning， children will greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year， and receive money in red paper envelopes。 The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges， and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone。

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years， outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi。 But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars， making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707， 4706， or 4646。

As the most important festival in China since ancient times, the Spring Festival is always being excepted by we kids. Because we dont need to do any homework during this time very year.Its really a precious holiday for us. And our parents are free from their work too. We go to our grandparents to get together with them to enjoy the moment when the new year comes.

I will priciate if the holiday to be longer.

作为一直以来中国最重要的节日，春节总是带给我们这些小孩美好的期待。首先，在这春节期间我们不用写作业了。这对我们来说真是弥足珍贵的假日。我们的父母也放假，所以我们能一起去爷爷奶奶家欢度新年，一起享受新年钟声敲响时的快乐。

当然，如果这假期长一点的话我们会更开心的。

Its Sunday today. I got up early and did my homework on the table. All of a

sudden I remembered the mothers day, a picture of my mind, remembering a past

thing that moved me.

Thats the case. After coming home from school that afternoon, my mother came

back. I found that my mother was very tired, his eyes were squinting, and I

yawned. So she sent me to do my homework at home. But I felt very sad to see my

mother working so hard, so I decided to share the housework for my mother. I

began to pick up the stuff in my home, first fold the newspaper, and then the

glass was cleaned.

I put the glass on the pot filled with water, and then picked up the cloth, a

brush up. I found a little dirty in a cup, and I took some detergent to wash it.

Suddenly, the cup from the hand slipped, piercing sound startled me. I hastened

to pick up the pieces of glass on the floor. At this time, I found that my

mother was standing in front of me, and she said, "dont pick up the pieces with

your hands. Let me come." I stood up and bowed my head embarrassed and said,

"Im sorry, mom, Im too careless." I thought: this must be closed. Mother

Looking back on this, I felt very warm. It told me that maternal love is

Dragon Boat Festival is the traditional day in China, it is on the 5th day

of the 5th lunar month. The common activity for different places are dragon boat

competition and eating zongzi. In my hometown, there will be the dragon boat

competition every year. A lot of teams join this activity and there are full of

audiences stand on the river side, wathing and yelling for the teams. It is one

fo the biggest matches in my hometown. What’ more, making zongzi is also the

tradition. My mother makes the zongzi at this time every year, she told me that

she learned it from my grandma and she would teach me in the future.

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .Its to celebrate the lunar calendar s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their

parents. This money is given to children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune .

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”. People enjoy the Spring Festival ,during this time they can have a good rest .

New Year Party

On New Years Eve，our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. Then with three resounding（响亮的） crow of a cock echoing in the hall，the hall was again brightly lit in a snap.

Then，the representative of the bedroom Zhu Guozhang asked us to guess a line of a poem related to the above situation. He added that Li Xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. They left us all in confusion. And it was our monitor who was quickwitted（机智的）. He shouted our， "The day breaks as the cock crows three times at dawn." The hall After that，they had another item. To be or nor to be, that is a question. To succeed or to fail? How to

succeed and how to achieve? These problems confuse many teenagers in

nowadays.

We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will

always be some problems and setbacks to stop the pace of advance. When they

appear, what should we do? To stop or to go on? Mrs. Curie told us the answer.

We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know

how hard she worked? At that time, there were many people disapprove of Mrs.

Curie. Although she got over hundreds of difficulties, she still believed in

herself and never gave up. Finally, she succeeded to discover radium. She proved

that she was right by her continuous hard work and her strong spirit. We should

learn from Mrs. Curie. She told us the truth through her own experiences that

believe in yourself, you can do it! Never give up, face the difficulties with a

The key to success is confidence. It makes you brave, helps you get over

the troubles, and brings motivation to you. For example, somebody always get

nervous when they have an important speech, if they are in a nervous mood, the

results are always terrible. But if they are confident to themselves, the

results turn out to be better. Therefore, be confident, believe in yourself,

keep smile in your face when comes to difficulties, and you will achieve

more.
