如果有人问我最喜欢的动物是什么，我就毫不犹豫地告诉他，不是小兔，不是小猫，而是我家的小狗。

它的名字叫大黑，每次我到哪里，它就去哪里，像跟屁虫似的，可是我一点也不讨厌它。它的浑身黑黑的，像黑油漆泼过似的，耳朵像一把黑色的扇子，它的眼睛像两颗黑珍珠。它的鼻子很灵敏，有一点气味，它都闻得出来。它的嘴巴大大的，牙齿非常锋利。它的四肢很发达，跑起来像箭一样。

我家有两只可爱的小兔儿。一只是花兔，一只是白兔，它们身子胖胖的，尾巴短短的，皮毛滑滑的。小花兔的耳朵和嘴巴是黑的，四肢和尾巴是白的，它的身体上还有一块块的黑圆点，好似披上了一件花衣服，可爱极了!小白兔白白胖胖的，颜色很鲜亮，长着红红的眼睛，长长的耳朵。

小兔子最喜欢吃青菜和胡萝卜。它们吃食物之前，先用爪子碰一碰食物，再闻一闻，就这样连续摆弄了好几次，才放心地吃了起来。我想：为什么小白兔的眼睛是红色的，而小花兔的眼睛却是黑色的呢?我来到书房，终于找到了答案。原来，白兔子的表皮缺乏色素，它的毛也不含色素，但是却同样有许多微细血管，因此，它透明的眼球中的血液经过折射，我们就看到了它那红红的眼睛。

我和小兔子们也发生过有趣的事情。记得有一次，我把铁笼打开，小兔子们飞快地逃了出来，它们又蹦又跳，一会儿这看看，一会儿那瞧瞧，觉得什么东西都十分好奇。太阳快下山了，爷爷让我和弟弟把小兔子们捉回铁笼里，我和弟弟分头行动，还是捉不到它们，因为它们的跑得实在是太快了。这时，我想到了一个好办法，我先用青菜和胡萝卜作诱饵，当小兔子来到我面前津津有味地吃起来的时候，我趁它们不注意，伸手就捉住了它们的耳朵，把它们送回了铁笼里。

我通过课外书还了解到，小兔子性情温和，但有的时候它又很淘气，它趁人们不在菜园的时候，偷偷地把农民伯伯辛辛苦苦种的蔬菜吃掉，还在菜地里挖了许多洞，在洞里面生儿育女。
