there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

未来的世界上，是不是有许多跟现在不一样的地方，真是太多了，我都想了很多了。

是有像各种果汁和河、江、泉、海，这是太美味了，还有像汉堡一样的车子，还有香蕉做的桥，真是有好多各种各样我没有看到过的东西。

还有未来的汽车多式多样，有太阳能汽车，它的功能可多了，它的速度可快了，一分钟就能跑到500千米，而且它只要有太阳在，它就能一直开。不过，就算太阳落山了，也能继续跑，而且还非常实用，用的时间可以超过80年，还有金属车，什么都能防，就算是大炮来打这辆车的话，好一点炮弹要打几百个才能稍微破坏一下，这辆车的装置，而且它可比装甲车更加厉害，它的防守能力估计是装甲车的5000倍厉害吧！这是由几万吨的超金属来制造的，还有最厉害的时空车，能穿越到你想去的年代，如果我们现在的车子有这么厉害就OK了。

这就是未来的世界，是不比现在的生活还高级呢！这就是我想象的未来世界，强吧！

One Sunday my mother （Mother） had （made） me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile （smiling） at us and heard the birds sing （singing） their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty （beautiful）。

When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother （our mother） wait （waiting） for us at the door.

当我们感觉到疲倦的时候，我们就回家了。我们看见母样正在门口等候我们。
