不一会儿，雨停了，不知不觉我们到达了第一站——“将军山”，高高的纪念塔耸立在山顶上，显得格外雄伟壮观，四周遍地布满了千姿百态、形状各异的石头。登上塔顶眺望，一望无际蔚蓝色的大海浮现在眼前，海天一色，分不清哪是大海哪是天空，阵阵带着海腥味的海风吹过，让人感到清新舒畅。一群海鸥从空中盘旋而过，伴着鸣叫声，像在诉说飞行的快乐。

接着，我们又来到了沙滩上，沙滩上数不清的游客在尽情地游玩，有的在游泳，有的在划艇，有的在放风筝，还有一群小朋友在堆沙土呢。我们光着脚沿着海岸线捡贝壳，任凭海水拍打着我的脚丫，一波波浪花像在我的身边捉迷藏，我们一家人相互嬉戏着，在这片辽阔的沙滩上追逐着，这里留下了我们欢乐的笑声和快乐的足迹。

最后，我们来到了新区“海坛古城”，古色古香的建筑群落吸引了海内外慕名而来的游客。大街上陈列着琳琅满目的商品，有台湾特产，还有许多用贝壳做成的各种纪念品，惟妙惟肖，总是让人爱不释手。今天还有幸地观看了一场台湾高山族人的歌舞表演，他们载歌载舞，让观众进入了阵阵高潮，也赢得的阵阵掌声。这里凝聚着大陆人民和台湾人民团结友爱，心心相印的友谊，也为两国人民架起了和平共处的桥梁。

愉快的一天旅行结束了，它总是让人依依不舍，我期待着再次与平潭的相聚。

I went to the home for the aged with my friends on July 30th. As soon as

the eldly people saw us, they were all happy. 1.We sang songs and danced for

them. Then we helped the worker clean the rooms and washes the clothes. They

praized us a lot and said that we were good boys. Although we felt tired, we had

a good time.

Every year on October 4th is the World Animal Day. It is proposed by the

Italian monk St Francis in 12th century. He lives in the forests of Assisi

Island for the long time, building a good relationship with the animals. So he

asks people to express thanks to the animals on October 4th. He sets a good

example for our human beings about how to deal with the relationship with

animals. In order to memorize him and what he does, we make October, 4th to be

World Animal Day. Nowadays, people from all over the world will hold various

activities to celebrate on that day. The aim of this festival is to remind

people to care for all animals and build a harmonious relationship with

them.

Today is a holiday in the West -- Christmas Eve, when I go home after

school, I see shopping malls, hotels are decorated in front of the door very

beautiful, there are people wearing Santa hats, there is a festive

atmosphere.

Mother said: "tomorrow morning, you can see Santa Claus to send a

mysterious gift", I said Santa Claus in a foreign country, how to send gifts?

Mother said: "Santa Claus let mom and dad to help give you a gift". What is it?
