spring couplets, a chinese new year decoration, are an integral part of chinas new year. their beginnings go back as far as the origins of new years festivities.

according to legends in the chinas ancient past there was a monster known as nian who often came down from the mountains to eat livestock and locals. it was discovered that he was afraid of the color red and so red paper was placed around doors and windows of houses and poems for good luck were added to them. the houses with the red paper were avoided by the monster, so its inhabitants were spared. the tradition has continued until today.

主持人先讲了一段开场白，然后让领导们讲话。领导用不太正规的普通话叽里呱啦说了一通，我什么也没听下去。终于，节目开始了，第一个乐章是——源远流长。在这个乐章里，演员们充分的表现出了黄河上游的民俗风情和习俗。等到黄河流入内蒙古，主持人激动的说：“这个乐章的第二首曲子就是由从内蒙古大草原来的超级巨星——凤凰传奇！大家掌声欢迎！”听到主持人说的话，人群中爆发出一阵欢呼声，许多人还自发地把手中的荧光棒挥起来，我身后呈现出一片荧光棒的海洋，我有点看呆了。这时，从舞台后面走出一男一女——凤凰传奇。我也情不自禁的挥起手中的荧光棒，凤凰传奇是我的偶像，尤其是那个穿白衣服打着发胶叫曾毅的男子，看起来非常时髦。他们唱的第一首歌是《我从草原来》，这首歌激情四射，具有动感，让人听了非常舒畅，充满活力。第二首歌是大家都熟悉的《自由飞翔》，我高兴得手舞足蹈，也高声唱起来。

演出一直持续到十点多，到最后，周笔畅用她的歌——《星期三的信》送走了离去的观众。

这真是一次难得的演出，可能这在一生中只有一次，但是我经历了，并用心去感受，也是非常值得的。

现在城市交通繁忙了，像这种悲惨的交通事故在国内多如繁星，因为我国交通事故死伤率居世界第一。所以，无论_在不在场，我们都要自觉的遵守交通法规。例如：过马路要看清信号灯，红灯停、绿灯行，要走人行横道，不得翻越交通护栏;未满12岁的儿童不得在马路上骑自行车;不能在马路上三五成群地玩耍和嬉戏;;我们小学生不仅自己要遵守交通法规，而且发现有人违反了，应及时地批评、劝阻。

在我三年级的时候，突然有一天，学校布置了一项作业——去天安门看升国旗。我想：学校为什么布置这项作业呢？我们每天都能从电视上看升国旗，这项作业有什么意义呢？带着疑问我进入了梦乡。

第二天早晨，天还没亮，爸爸便把我叫了起来，匆匆吃过早饭便出发了。经过不长时间，我们到了天安门。那里早已是人山人海，来看升国旗的人真多啊！我们费了九牛二虎之力终于找到一个看升旗的好地方。

东方的太阳马上就要升起来了，这个时候我耳边响起了人们的欢呼声。我寻声望去，原来，国旗班的叔叔们，从天安门，向升旗的平台走来。他们的步伐很整齐，抬头挺胸，表情严肃，给人一种非常庄严的感觉，我的目光无法从他们身上离开，他们的身上仿佛有一种魔力，吸引了所有人的目光。

不一会儿，他们就走到了平台前。就在这个时候，雄伟的《义勇军进行曲》响了起来，国旗开始缓缓地向上升，大人们行起了注目礼，而我和同学们则行起了队礼。也不知道为什么，我的心里非常激动，眼睛里也悄悄地泛起了泪花，嘴里跟着一起唱起了国歌。过了大概一分钟的时间，歌声停了下来，国旗也已经升到了旗杆的顶端。升国旗仪式结束，人们又再一次欢呼起来。

原来，现场看升国旗，跟在电视上看的感觉是那么的不同。至于看升国旗的意义，爸爸是这样告诉我的：“我们每一个人都是护旗手。五星红旗是用烈士们的鲜血染成的，我们今天的幸福生活来之不易，我们要继承先烈们的遗志。发愤读书，将来成为祖国的有用人才，用实际行动去捍卫五星红旗，其意义是非常深远的。”
